I love Robyn Harding's writing. The queen of plot twists and thrillers!

Sydney and Curtis's relationship is on eggshells after Curtis confesses to infidelity. They move to Spain to try to start over, and rekindle their relationship. They buy a property with the dream to create a vineyard. Fast forward slightly, and Bianca and Damian, two Australian travelers show up at the door when their van breaks down.

What ensues is nothing short of thrilling. Plot twists, connections, high anxiety situations. Robyn Harding is a master at weaving stories together and leaving the reader guessing.

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC! Highly recommend!

Robyn Harding is a name I always look for, and her books always hit the mark. This is another one that I will wish I could read again for the first time.

Sydney and Curtis move to the Mediterranean, after Curtis has an affair with a business client. They are slowly working on repairing their relationship, their villa, and themselves, when an Australian couple turns up. Before they know it, the couple is boarding with them.

What follows is a thrill ride, with twists and turns that make Robyn Harding one of the best.

Strangers in the Villa by Robyn Harding was amazing and hooked me right away! It takes place on the sun soaked Spanish coast, featuring a crumbling marriage, and strangers who seem just a little too good to be true. Sydney and Curtis head to a remote villa in Spain to patch things up after his affair, but when two charming travelers show up, what starts as a friendly arrangement slowly turns into something darker. The author does an amazing job writing the creeping sense of dread that builds page by page. I loved how the tension came not just from the mystery of the guests, but also from watching Sydney and Curtisโ€™s relationship unravel in real time. The pacing and the twists keeps you guessing throughout the entire book! Perfect for anyone who loves suspenseful domestic thrillers!

Strangers in the Villa was such a fast and addictive read. Robyn Harding brings together all the elements I love in a psychological thriller... a marriage in trouble, an isolated villa on the coast of Spain and surprise guests who turn out to be far more complicated than they first seem.

I loved the way the tension grew as secrets started to surface and the relationships between the characters shifted. The setting was so vivid that I could easily picture the villa and the beautiful, but slightly unsettling, surroundings. I also enjoyed how the story kept me guessing about everyoneโ€™s true intentions right up until the last chapter.

The ending was really satisfying, and I think both long-time Robyn Harding fans and new readers are going to enjoy this one. Thank you to NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing for the advanced copy.

A secluded villa high in the hills. A lush Spanish landscape overlooking the Mediterranean. A couple torn apart by infidelity. A pair of mysterious visitors. Robyn Harding's spring release has all the makings of a blockbuster hit, and it's no exaggeration to say I inhaled this one in just a few hours.

Sydney Lowe is a public defender in New York, ensuring that every client, regardless of guilt, is given fair legal representation. She's passionate about justice, so her entire life implodes when her husband Curtis admits to a one-night stand with a client. She's already struggling with a deeply personal loss, and her husband's betrayal is more than she can bear. Curtis is so desperate for her forgiveness that he sells his share of his company to his business partner, and he and Sydney move to remote villa in Spain to repair their fractured marriage.

But forgiveness doesn't come easily for Sydney. She constantly checks Curtis' phone and laptop and struggles with intimacy. Sydney doesn't realize how lonely she is until pair of Australian travelers turn up at their door with car trouble. An invitation to lunch turns into an overnight visit that unfolds into something far more nefarious.

The author absolutely nailed the turmoil of a damaged relationship and how one could be so desperate for validation that they would seek it from strangers. There is some really dark territory that's explored in this thriller, so be prepared. Nothing overly graphic or gratuitous, but it took me completely by surprise. The ending was quite satisfying, and I know that long-time fans and new readers alike are going to love this one. Many thanks to NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing for this early copy. Look for this one March 3, 2026.
