His dream of becoming a K9 officer has always been his top priority, until a gorgeous, mysterious faery from sixth-century Ireland ends up in his kitchen. From there, the story weaves together his down-to-earth police work in a quirky tourist town with an escalating battle against an ancient evil druid, Ansgar, who will stop at nothing to reclaim his escaped captive.

The banter between Travis and the faery is charming, with plenty of fish-out-of-water moments and gentle teasing that slowly builds into something warmer.
