A collection of informative stories from Norse mythology. Also, a great Who's Who for Marvel films.
Based on the cover, this must be a book with beautiful illustrations, however the audio version read by Penelope Rawlins was easy-to-follow and entertaining enough to pique the interest of a younger audience.

Loki the trickster did many nasty pranks, hurting many. Asgard is the world of legend and these stories bring them to life.
Well written and well narrated book (I listened to the audiobook). Heroes, monsters, Valkyrie and Fenrir, enjoy.

This was actually so good and as an adult I really enjoyed listening and reading it. It’s full of so much information so a great beginners intro to Norse Mythology. Thank you NetGalley for letting me read/listen and review.

Thank you to Arcturus Digital Audio, Arcturus Publishing, the author and NetGalley for providing me with both an LRC and DRC in return for an honest review
A wonderful introduction to Norse mythology for younger listeners and readers! I enjoyed both the Kindle edition and the audiobook. Samantha Newman’s retellings are clear, exciting, and full of personality, while Penelope Rawlins’ narration brings each tale vividly to life. The illustrations in the Kindle edition are beautiful and vibrant—perfectly complementing the stories. From Loki’s tricks to the epic clash of Ragnarök, this is both entertaining and educational. Perfect for kids, and grown-ups, who love myths and legends!
