Leave Before I Love You
Avery a Daddy’s girl who wants for nothing, a clothes horse for every designer going from her louboutin shoes to Hermes clothes flits around without a care in the world. Henry a self made millionaire with his extreme sports company is her brother’s best friend so they have been in each other’s lives for a long time.
Although attracted to each other they have kissed a couple of times but never taken it any further. Henry is not up to having any close relationships after his mother walked out on him and his father and never looked back, recently his father who he was extremely close to has died.
The start of their relationship comes about after an event where they need to solely rely on each other. The attraction becomes something they can’t ignore and this page turning story with its highs and lows gives us this developing beautiful tale. With lots of humour, high emotions, great characters and sparkling dialogue this is an extremely satisfying and enjoyable story

I have been waiting for Leave Before I Love You since I finished Meet Me at Midnight. Avery and Henry's story was everything I wanted it to be - and just what I would expect from a Max Monroe romantic comedy. It was hilarious, highly entertaining, and sweet. It was even a little emotional at times. Avery and Henry were so different but fit together so well. Avery was daddy's little rich girl with a hidden heart of gold. I was so happy there was more to her than what I saw in that first book about June and Beau. Henry was a rugged outdoorsmen who saw the good in Avery. I loved how he took care of her and kept both their hopes high. Their relationship started in a unique way, and I loved how everything played out. I enjoyed this book so much that I hope Beau and Henry's other two friends get books, even though they didn't have huge parts in this one. I'm not ready to be done with the characters in this friend group I have met so far.

5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Leave Before I Love You is yet another gem from Max Monroe! I’ve come to expect witty banter, emotional depth, and unforgettable characters from this duo—and this book absolutely delivered. From the first page, I was hooked. The chemistry between the main characters sizzled, and the blend of humor and heartbreak was perfectly balanced.

Max Monroe has a way of making you laugh out loud one moment and clutch your chest the next. The writing is sharp, the pacing never drags, and every emotional beat hits just right. I devoured this story and didn’t want it to end.

If you're already a fan of their work, this is a must-read. And if you're new to Max Monroe, this is the perfect place to fall in love with their style. Easily one of my favorite reads of the year!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC!

Avery and Henry: They are thrown together by circumstance. They know of each other through her brother, but they're not close.they were supposed to was supposed to be a group vacation(Avery’s brother, his wife, and another two guys friends), but everyone else dropped out, isolates them and forces them to rely on each other. Henry owned a skydiving company which they were supposed to skydive into the Bahamas however the pilot had a heart attack/stroke causing his death and Henry and Avery stuck in an island in the middle of nowhere. The two weeks on the island, foraging for food and having to work together, is the perfect environment for a slow-burn romance. They're not just falling in love; they're learning to trust each other with their lives. The "chemistry was chefs kiss" because they're seeing each other at their most raw and authentic. What happens when they get off the island? Do they stay together?
This is the big question, and it's what makes the story so interesting. The "real world" often presents challenges that don't exist on a deserted island.
If you love forced proximity, friends to lovers and a daredevil with a good heart this one’s for you!
Devoured this book in a day. Thanks NetGalley
