The audio was cute with all the sound effects in the background. It is a good little affirmation book about brothers or siblings. I loved the little things added in like 'New Heights'.
As a lifelong Chiefs fan and someone who absolutely adores the Kelce brothers, this is a book I would grab for my kids! Age group is definitely for toddler kids.
I like the end with a mini bio about Travis and Jason.

A cute read for little ones about siblings, featuring the infamous Kelce brothers. Fans of Jason and Travis will want to read this one to their little ones. The audiobook was ok, the reader did a great job of reading what seemed to be an adorable story, but this is clearly a book that is better physically read aloud with illustrations.
Looking forward to seeing this title in print.
Thank you to NetGalley and Macmillan Audio | Macmillan Young Listeners for the advanced audio copy of this book!

I love that it told us a lot about the brothers and football facts. Our family is huge with the brothers!!!

As an avid KC Chiefs fan and a boy mom (my kid is named after the KC coach actually 🤪), I thought this audiobook was so cute and informative for little ears! I look forward to buying/seeing the physical book with photos when it releases!
Thank you to the author, Mac Audio, and NetGalley for the audiobook!

I loved this book, about sibling respect (particularly brothers). It was pretty hard to get that it was about the Kelce brothers without the pictures but the words were great.
Thank you to the publisher, Emma Carlson Berne and NetGalley for the ALC. All opinions expressed are my own.

I did not know they even made audiobooks for children’s picture books, but this was the best 4 minutes of my life. On top of being objectively hilarious, the production was actually incredible. We had music, we had sound effects, we had podcast based puns. Zach Barela was a phenomenal narrator and read all 7 of his words beautifully. I will probably listen to this at least 16 more times while I have it. Actually, honestly, incredible. 10/10, no notes.

Sweet and short story about brotherly love featuring one of the most loved football siblings, Jason and Travis Kelce. Great book for the littlest football fans, mainly toddler to preschool age children.

This was an Audio Book that was adapted from a Childrens Picture book. Based on Football Players Travis and Jason Kelce. This is a very short Story / Biographical Adaptation any young football fan would enjoy. I found it heartwarming and you could Picture the scenes in your head since you did not have the pictures from the Physical Book.
Thank you to Macmillan Audio for the Advanced Copy of this story.

Audio Book
Although my avid football fan days are behind me, I became a fan of the Kelce brothers when their two football teams opposed each other in the Super Bowl. Actually, it may have been their even keeled mother who most impressed me given her position, but I admired their humor and obvious respect for each other even then. Now, of course, given Travis' relationship with Taylor Swift, we see more of him than the retired Jason. As a result, I was curious to see how this book played out, weak pun intended.
It took me a couple listens to sort this one out, I have to admit. The physical book is surely heavy on pictures and, unfortunately, we're asked to use out imagination upfront. Once I sorted out that the pace indicated that the narrator , who did an excellent job, was moving through illustrations of the Kelce's life/career, helped along by the subtle sound effects utilized, it all made sense to me. As a teacher, I can see an opportunity to use the audio to promote children to imagine what they're seeing if you don't happen to have a hard copy of the book on hand. It'd also be fun to have them draw pictures fitting the sound/words from their own lives, I'd think. Anyway, that's the first section and it flew right along quickly. Very quickly.
The second section is more detailed, giving more biographical detail. Details range from their birth, love of sports, and attending the same college. You'll also find out the reason behind Travis' choice of jersey number. That was cool and something I'd missed knowing. In any case, while the narration sticks to the brothers, not bringing in any romantic issues, it seems relatively up-to-date, mentioning that Jason had retired but the brothers were doing a podcast together.
Bottom line, once I sorted out my confusion over the briefness of the audio, it was an interesting, fun read. That said, while it could be made to stand alone, I tend to think it'd work best accompanying a read of the actual book. I'm actually curious to check out what the actual book looks like, I must admit. Thanks #MacmillanAudio for this early listen to a book dealing with a couple men that seem genuine good guys and are worthy of being offered as models for young fans. It's a positive message we can all relate to, one setting an excellent example for young people.

Such a cute fun book especially for fans of the Kelce brothers. I love the depth of the audio and the narrator of the book! Fantastic children’s book for home or school!

My two sons and I listened to this audiobook, and the sweet sentiment of brothers was commented on (sometimes my kids would say, "my brother doesn't have MY back", but overall they enjoyed and reflected on the sentiments). I really liked the universal reflection on Brotherly Love, and then the biographical reflection on Travis and Jason Kelce. Listeners learned that even though their teams were competing, they still loved and cared for one another. They are inspiring on and off the field, and now I want to get the picture book to keep on our bookshelf. We enjoyed this very much!
I highly recommend this as a book that talks for schools and libraries.

The Kelce brothers, Jason & Travis, an unbreakable bond! Zach Barela did a phenomenal job narrating this adorable children’s audiobook! It was weird listening to the first part because it was only audio and did not see illustrations. The second half was a short, biographical account of them Kelce’s. Young and old fans will look up to them and desire the close family bonds, the supportive relationship, and running after your dreams. Loved it!

A Sweet, Heartwarming Tribute to Brotherhood
You Are Brotherly Love is a sweet, heartwarming children’s book based on the real-life bond between Jason and Travis Kelce. The story beautifully highlights important values like teamwork, resilience, kindness, and staying true to who you are.
While I didn’t get to see the illustrations myself (audiobook ARC), I imagine they’re colorful and engaging, with fun nods to football and the city of Philadelphia. It’s especially powerful coming from two athletes who clearly value their roots, their family, and each other.
I also loved the ending, which includes a short biography of the brothers. It’s a nice touch that adds context for kids (and adults!) who may not know their story—it brings even more meaning to the message of the book.
Why four stars instead of five? A few pages felt a bit more tailored to adult fans of the Kelce brothers than to young readers, and some of the references might go over kids’ heads. Still, the overall message is heartfelt and inspiring—a celebration of being proud of where you come from and who you love.
Highly recommend for fans of sports, sibling stories, and feel-good reads with a strong message.

“You love and you are loved.”
You Are Brotherly Love is such a precious children’s book about the Kelce brothers. There’s a lot of encouraging and uplifting quotes. There’s also detailed information about Jason and Travis Kelce. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, as it is so fun and heartwarming. This was my first book written by Emma Carlson Berne and I look forward to reading more. The illustration by Laura Catrinella is superb!! Also, I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a great job. 💛
I would like to thank Macmillan Audio and NetGalley for giving me an ARC (which did not sway my opinions or review).

This first half of this book reads like a picture book — which I’m assuming this audiobook was adapted from — and to be honest, it was a little odd listening to it without seeing illustrations. I liked the sound effects that accompanied it but it didn’t hold my kids’ attention. I personally enjoyed the mention of taking humor to “new heights” as a shoutout to the Kelce brothers’ podcast!
The second half of this book is a biographical telling about the Kelce brothers’ life and I felt that part was much easier to enjoy via audiobook. It was also really well done at grabbing as well as keeping attention. Jason and Travis’ stories are so compelling! It’s so easy for me to cheer on someone who chose his professional jersey number to honor his older brother and I love that this book called attention to that fact.
Overall, You are Brotherly Love was cute and quick and I really enjoyed it! Thank you so much Macmillan Audio for the ALC of this book and Zach Barela did a fantastic job narrating this!

This is a cute little book about the Kelce brothers. They are all over and of course why not have a sweet book about them being brothers. I recommend it for all fans of them and of football.
