The synopsis hooked me but sadly the novel did not hold my interest. I found it almost impossible to relate to the characters which make it difficult to finish,

Lilac Lakes, Second Chances & Swoon-Worthy Healing
Love’s Harvest is a tender, small-town second-chance romance that serves up heartfelt healing, poetic vibes, and just enough drama to make you hug your favorite blanket and whisper, “Okay, love, I still believe in you.” 💕🍂

Really enjoyed this story that involves Sarah Ballard Miller and Aaron Collister. Sarah moved back to Lilac Lake with her twins after her husband committed suicide. She is helping her parents run the hardware store. Does reconnect with Aaron and does she take over the store as her parents are wanting to slow down some . Going to Florida for the winter is one thing they want to do but Sarah's father had a stroke before Christmas so the have to wait for his check up in January to get the ok to go? A VERY GOOD READ.

This is such a heartwarming book. Aaron has such a different perspective on life. It was a very touching part of the book. It’s relationship centered. It’s about one woman’s journey to overcome her husband’s suicide and to trust herself again. It much more than that too. It delves into relationships between families, love interests, and friends. It’s wonderfully written and I enjoyed it so much. Ellie’s current case was difficult to read about. Abuse of children always hurt my heart. The author did an amazing job of leaving little clues about the killer. I was surprised by who the killer turned out to be. It was a very intriguing book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.
