This novella is a quick, fun escape with plenty of charm. Cade and Nora’s dynamic. shy, broody hero meets guarded, witty heroine—makes for some genuinely funny and hopeful moments. The fast pace keeps the story moving, and the character development is stronger than I expected for a short format.

That said, while the premise hooked me, I didn’t always feel fully invested in their romance, and some of the steamier moments felt rushed. Still, it’s a light, entertaining listen that delivers on banter and heart.

Why was this only so short?! A cute romance story - like all of Lana Ferguson books! But I would have loved a full sized novel instead of a short story!

I loved everything about this... honestly my only complaint is that it is no where long enough. I needed so much more from these two. From start to finish I was engaged. Their story was light, it was everything I needed and wanted. Cade and Nora start to finish were dynamic even in the awkwardness of Cade. The supporting cast of characters allowed a depth to the story I loved... and again I just NEED more!

This book was cute and fun. Many lighthearted and humor moments.
Audiobook is narrated by Samantha Summers and Teddy Hamilton. The perfect voices and personalities for Cade and Nora’s story.

Thank you for the opportunity to review.
This was a quick read that was very entertaining and fun. I found myself laughing and really getting into the story. I will be recommending!

This was a charming audio novella that I binged in one evening. It was sweet, funny and fluffy — a perfect summer read! Or if you're in need of a short, quick palate cleanser, this will certainly do the trick!

I enjoyed that it was dual POV. You can tell the audio production was very well done even if for a short story. Both narrators did great in their respective roles. While Nora was easy to love, it's Cade that steals your heart with his shy, awkward and humble attitude.

All of Cade and Nora's interactions are wonderful, but the (second) beach scene was such a powerful moment... it really got me all in my feels!

I grabbed this title on NetGalley because the cover was so pretty and this is the first Lana Ferguson I'm reading, but I will definitely go check out her other books because this was an absolute delight!

I really love Lana Ferguson so was excited to listen to this novella/short story. This was a slow burn romance that was very sweet and spicy. I liked the narrators for the most part but did find it kind of cringe-y when the male narrator changed pitch to do Nora’s voice. It was…. not great.

This audiobook was cute and I finished it same day! It was short but still so sweet. You could feel the connection between Cade and Nora from the very beginning! The secret pining over each other was written well and I ate it up! I loved the duet narration. Samantha and Teddy did a great job at bringing Nora and Cade to life! They both have become some of my absolute favorite narrators! Overall this was a cute story and I highly recommend!

Room for Two by Lana Ferguson is a fun, flirty, and easy-to-devour audiobook-only novella. Cade’s shy charm and Nora’s guarded warmth make for a deliciously entertaining dynamic, especially when fate throws them together as roommates. Their chemistry sparks quickly, delivering plenty of humor and heart without dragging things out. Narrated by Samantha Summers and Teddy Hamilton, the story comes to life in a way that makes it impossible to stop listening.

I enjoyed listening to this novella narrated by Samantha Summers and Teddy Hamilton. It was the perfect in-between books escape and the dual narration was .

It’s a novella so it’s fast paced but it didn’t feel rushed or like it was missing anything.

Nora meets Cade on the heels of a break-up. They share a drunken (on her end) kiss which doesn’t remember. Cade was such a gentleman - I was instantly smitten!

He harbors a crush for her from that moment but is too shy to even properly speak to her. Nora finds herself crushing on him too and their two friends concoct a scheme to get them together.

The mutual pining, awkward date moments and banter between these two was so fun. I binged this in one listen while running errands. It was both sweet & spicy and just what I needed in between longer books.

I was first drawn to this novella because of the cute cover! Then I saw Lana Ferguson wrote it, so I knew I needed to listen to it! It did not disappoint! Though this was a novella, it didn’t feel like anything was missing. I thought the character development and pacing was great!

Cade and Nora were easy characters to root for! Cade was so sweet and awkward! It was really endearing. Two of my favorite narrators narrated the dual POV and it really helped bring the characters to life!

If you are looking for a sweet, spicy audiobook romance, then I definitely recommend giving this one a listen! I’m looking forward to more from Lana Ferguson in the future!

Quick and spicy second chance romance. Introverted and shy- Cade was totally relatable! I love that they found their way back to each other!

This was a really great and quick Summer romance that actually had substance! The plot was interesting how the two characters met and getting them together was hilarious, but when the romance began it locked tf in. It was gentle and sweet but the spice was HOT! Would have loved this novella if it was a full novel because the characters felt so flushed out, but enjoyed it in this format nonetheless. Lana Ferguson doesn’t miss.
4 stars!

First of all this is my first experience listening to an audiobook, I haven't tried before because I usually get distracted easily while Im reading but I as soon as Lana anounced this story I wanted to tried since she's one of my favorite authors.

Cade & Nora story was so amazing. I can't explain how giddy it made me while listening to it. The double narration was so good because while I love a double pov book, a double narration, telling you the inner thoughts from both of our characters was a totally new and different experience for me. The voices of the narrators made this so good.

This story served a cute meet cute with two shy characters to give the first step to ask the other out.
The story was short but cute, giddy and spicy in the best of ways.

Thanks to Netgalley, Spotify & Lana Ferguson for this audiobook in exchange of an honest review.

I LOVED THIS ONE!! No surprise here, I love all of Lana’s books but this was just so cute - the MMC was so shy and introverted and yearned in the best ways. The miscommunication was really fun ( was it a date or an interview for a roommate - who is to say??). The narrators were also amazing! Altogether, this was a super fun novella - I can’t wait for whatever Lana writes next!!

It's always a good day when there's a new Lana Ferguson book out. Room for Two was classic Lana humor and heat, in a fun audio novella! This was such a quick listen and I loved it.

*deep sigh* I love Lana Ferguson but this one was a miss for me. I struggled with two things really: repetitive plot (the "twist" their friends pulled on them gets brought up too many times) and the fact that the FMC was going back to school to get her masters in nursing but wasn't working as a RN while in school. I get it's fiction, but as a RN, it's laughable when people go that route with school and they're set up for failure.

The narrators were great, which lead me to finish.

Thank you to Spotify, the author, and TLC Book Tours for the free audiobook. These opinions are my own.

Room for Two is a fun and quick novella that is audio only from Spotify. Despite the short length, I found the romance develops at a lovely, slow pace. I was so impressed that this is a great and complete story with good depth of character within a compact audio format.

Cade and Nora first meet at a summer bonfire. They have great chemistry, but it doesn't go anywhere because she's not sober. And then she doesn't remember. But they keep seeing each other when he orders coffee where she works as a barista.

I loved Cade and how sweet and shyly awkward he was. I really enjoyed listening to him slowly work to talk more to Nora. There are steamy scenes, but this isn't particularly high heat.

It's narrated by two of my favorites: Samantha Summers and Teddy Hamilton. I found them excellent, and the audio format was a great fit for this summer romance.
