The book was very intriguing and catched my attention from the moment Sapphia smashed that door down. That was an amazing start into this graphic novel. August is a very thoughtful young prince, and his attraction to one of his knights is clear from the beginning. The two of them together were also very cute. Sapphia is powerful and strong minded but also seemed very entitled in the beginning. She gave me the vibe that she doesn't really know what she wants. All the side characters had so much personality and storyline that they seemed like main characters, too. The only thing that confused me is the world itself. some aspects of the world's were very modern, like their way of thinking about most things, but also other things like Sapphias metal leg. Other aspects do seem very historical, tho.

This was absolutely adorable!! While not particularly realistic, it was super fun and lighthearted, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself the whole way through! The characters are fun, and the dynamics between all of them are super entertaining already. Though this book was mostly set up for future story, I think it did a great job of introducing the world and the characters in a way that was enjoyable, and definitely left me looking for more! Would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who loves reading manga, and fun stories featuring queer characters.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this e-ARC.

I loved everything about this graphic novel! The cover drew me in and the rest of the illustrations were just as stunning! I enjoyed that Princess Sapphia and Prince August have been friends for years but they weren't afraid to bring others into their circle of friends. This story brought up some good points about life and relationships but delivers them with grace. I can't wait for the next volume in this series!

I really enjoyed this (but it felt a bit too simple for a higher rating). This is a fun, simple read that has good vibes for when you do not really feel like reading anything, but still want to read at least something. I really enjoyed the characters, but it is really hard to say anything about their dynamics yet, seeing that this is just the first volume. There is a lot of setup already with both Sapphia's and August's exes, as well as what we already know about Marla and Lucas. I also really enjoyed the extras, as it was pretty interesting to see what could have happened if the author stuck with the first idea for the characters.
Overall, this is a great read!

Not for me. Not really into this kind of comedy, I just end up thinking seriously of the plot like "a maid wouldn't talk to a princess like that" "they wouldn't have it so easy sneaking out" etc etc.

Thank you netgalley for this graphic novel.. I will say it was a little hard for me to get into and i did enjoy some of the storylines but it was a bit of a miss for me i thought it was going to be a little different however i did enjoy the royal elements to it as well and we got to see alot of romance storylines between the characters and i will say i think i will enjoy volume 2 alot more because i want to see more of the character it ended on a cliff hanger with. The artwork was cute. This novel had a good batch of characters that i think people will enjoy

This is a very fun and lighthearted graphic novel, that is also a Webtoon series! A princess and a prince are close friends and plan on getting married, despite them both being queer. The marriage would allow them to fulfill the expectations placed on them, but would also allow them both to have fulfilling queer relationships with other people. This first volume introduces them both, their friends and servers and well as love interests. It is very enjoyable, and sets up the story well for further volumes which I’m excited to read!

I wasn’t quite sure what I was expecting out of this but what I got was a compelling, romantic story with an over flow of cuteness. We follow Princess Sapphia and Prince August, their romantic partners and friends. In this first volume we mostly set up group dynamics but end with a cliffhanger for where the plot will truly begin. Don’t let that freak you out because this is worth every second you’re reading.

This is a graphic novel about a lesbian princess and gay prince, who decide to marry each other to appease their families.

I read this back when it was being posted on instagram, I loved reading it again! I love the art and character design. I think this first volume does a great job of introducing us to the characters and setting up the story. I'm excited to read the next volume!

⭐⭐⭐⭐✨

Really short and sweet graphic novel about a prince and a princess that find the best and most convenient way to be queer and have love lives while maintaining their status: get fake-married, cover each other's backs, and live their happily ever afters.

I really enjoyed it, from the cutesy yet funny drawing style to the way we explore each character's personality and past in such a short first installment. At the end of it, I had the impression I'd been properly introduced to the main cast of characters. Can't wait to read the next volume!

I really need to watch out for Webcomics. I like a good webcomics but most don't work in this format. The story was cute but something about it felt like half-baked. Like a concept that got popular. I would have a hard time recommending it.

Thank you, NetGalley for an advanced ARC of this manga

This has a very cute art style and the story was OK, Two royals a prince and a princess want to step out of the life they were born into with responsibilities to maintain the way of things. They are both gay and want to be with people who are seen as below them but the way this story is told is cute in places which I enjoyed but I do not plan to continue the series.

I can see so many people enjoying this for the base of the story and the adorable art style.

Thank You NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the ARC!

This was such a roller coaster of a read! The artwork is cute, though I did notice one Marla's hair color was a bit inconsistent. The story felt a bit stale at times, and I wished we got to learn more about the characters, since this volume felt more of establishing who is who and their relationship, but not much on their backstory. The different types of representation was fun to see, and I am excited to see where the story will go from here.

Did you love Cursed Princess Club and ANY fairytale-esque story and think “this isn’t gay enough”? Well have I got the book for you!! High-Class Homos is a story of two royals of marrying age being pushed towards finding a suitable partner, but everyone their family chooses is of the opposite sex… and their taste goes more towards the same gender. Two queer royals who quickly become best friends, comrades at arms, and confidants.

Volume 1 brings us right into the story and towards the end of it, we get a little backstory to explain. We’ve already met both of the love interests and a couple of exes, as well. With so much happening so quickly, it made this a really fun and quick read, but I’m left wondering how you can continue multiple volumes with no build up.

We shall see!

Thank you to Webtoon Unscrolled, Wattpad Books and NetGalley for my gifted eARC.

It's a fun and light read. And, as the title implies, it's full of queer characters. The artwork is very cute and colourful, it reminded me of early 2000s shows. I'll definitely be reading the next volume when it comes out.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the arc

Thanks NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for providing me with the ARC.

I loved this graphic novel. The art style was beautiful and all the characters were fun to follow. I can't wait to learn more about them. I also really like that when all of the characters were in a scene together the chat bubbles had different colors for who was speaking at the time. This made it very easy to follow as that is something that otherwise sometimes confuses me in graphic novels. I would definitely recommend this book.

DNF at 40%.

I really liked the art, but the story just didn't reel me in. It was a little hard to follow at times because there were so many things going on, and some of the time jumps threw me off because it wasn't always clear that time had passed. I did enjoy the multiple flavors of queer representation and absolutely think there's an audience for this book, but this just didn't end up being the type of graphic novel that I personally enjoy.

Thank you, netgalley, the author, and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the gifted e-book! ❤️ #gifted. My review is comprised of my honest thoughts.

Read this book if you like: LGBTQ representation, royalty

I loved this. I was immediately hooked. It was cute, funny, and so sweet. The art style is great. I'll be buying a copy. I highly recommend this!

This is a fun start to a cute series that focuses on being "homo" in a fantasy world of kings and queens and knights and castles. Our main characters are both royalty, so while this is a story of finding love and being yourself it tackles the very real conflict of following traditions and expectations of society. I love that this first volume is unapologetically bright and bold colors that make this a carefree story.
Thank you to netgally andAndrews McMeel Publishing for the opportunity to read this as a book. I have been following this on webtoons for awhile now and am excited to see this published in print.

Princess Sapphia & Prince August are different than most princes and princesses, they’re gay. To prevent their parents from finding them further suitors that they’re not going to be attracted to, they hatch a plan to marry each other. While this is only mentioned once or twice in this volume, the story kind of runs off and follows their friends, the kingdom staff and their various love interests. All in all, it was cute, and the characters were adorable, but found a steady storyline to be a bit lacking. I wouldn't be opposed to reading the next installment.
