Thank you NetGalley for this ARC!
This was so cute?? I didn't know it was a webtoon originally, so I was completely blind going into this. I loved it!
The art style was so cute, and the character designs were perfect!
The story was cute, and I can't wait to see what happens next!!

This was overall really well drawn and I especially liked the character designs of the prince and the head knight. There were a lot of exposition in terms of character introductions which was a bit overwhelming but it's understandable for the first volume of a series.

The art in this webtoon-turned-graphic-novel is truly gorgeous. I absolutely judged this book by its cover, and the interior panels were just as lovely. The writing, on the other hand, left me cold. Starting with one-dimensional characters and a generic plot is certainly a choice, but it's not one that grabbed me. I was determined to finish because I almost never DNF, and I'm kind of glad I did because I got more of that art. Recognizing that this is an introductory volume in a series and therefore built to end on a cliffhanger, I still found it frustrating how little the plot advanced over the course of so many pages. Character development was similarly light, but identifiable. The representation in this comic is pretty great, though: aside from LGBT+ protagonists, there is a character who uses a prosthetic, a trans-coded character (probably revealed as actually trans in a later volume), and characters of different socioeconomic classes. Wealth disparity gets an honorable mention, but so far just to white-wash the privilege of royalty.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an ARC of this title.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this ARC!
High-Class Homos is a charming, funny, and heartwarming story that had me smiling from start to finish. With vibrant, beautifully drawn artwork and a cast of lovable characters, this delivers both laughs and cute moments.
Princess Sapphia and Prince August completely stole my heart. Their friendship is warm, supportive, and entertaining. Two royals who understand each other deeply and are just trying to navigate their queerness in a world that doesn’t always make it easy.
I also adored the supporting characters, each adding their own personality to the story. One of my favorite aspects was how both Sapphia and August slowly find people who see and accept them for who they are.
This volume felt like a fun and lighthearted introduction to the cast, laying the groundwork for deeper plotlines to come.
I loved the humor and the sweet "gay chaos" throughout, and the ending left me excited for Volume 2!
If you’re looking for a colorful, queer, and joyful story full of lovable characters and soft moments, this one is a must-read. I can’t wait to continue the series!

Thank you to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This graphic novel was so fun. I'd heard of this book before on Webtoon, but I'd never read it, and I'm so glad I got the chance to now. First off, I want to comment on how beautiful these drawings are. I love the expressions and the colours that are used. It is so visually interesting to look at.
I love the fake dating trope and really enjoy the use of it in this book, and the twist of it being a lavender marriage and the two royals having relationships on the side. Even though this book was very fun, it still showed the class differences and there were conversations regarding that that I felt were well done.
I think the relationship between Sapphia and August is the highlight of the book for me. It was lovely to see these characters interact and to show their friendship and how much they understand and care for each other, while still being really funny to read.
I wish we had a little more plot in this book, as I felt it was setting up for the majority of the plot to happen in the second volume. But saying that, I felt like this volume helped to set up the characters and introduce us to the world, which I enjoyed.
I will definitely be looking for the second volume when it comes out. This book finished with the right amount of suspense that made me interested in reading more about these characters. I'm very intrigued to see what happens with these characters and with everything they set up in this book.

This was a sweet story with a lovely message about friendship and love. The art is not what I'm used to but it was consistent and the character designs were interesting and varied.

yay!! thanks to NetGalley for providing me with an arc of this beautiful queer manga with a princess and a prince.
Sapphia doesn’t want a prince to marry, she wants a maid to fall in love with.
and so does August, but the other way around. he likes a knight.
but their parents are really old-fashioned, they expect Sapphia and aAugust to marry.
and so they do, and they deal with troubles in their so-called lavender marriage.
among them there are other characters who explore their gender and learn to understand their feelings.
also i really liked the representation of physical disability, it was really sweet representation
you can see that the author created the characters a long time ago (and it’s true based on the additional pages), and they already feel like a family. that’s very for my liking when i can feel such connection between author and characters.
i need second volume asap!
thanks to NetGalley, Momozerii, and Andrews McMeel Publishing for providing me with an arc!!

📚🏰🌈👑
silly, fluffy, and GAYYYYYY
I LOVED THISSSSSS! The high-class homos in question, a lesbian princess and a gay prince, hatch a plan to enter into a lavender marriage so they can both appease their royal parents and pursue their true loves: a kitchen maid and a castle knight. Naturally, all sorts of chaos ensues; there’s a love triangle, secret disguises, and lots of royal tomfoolery!
The style of artwork and the full color graphics are gorgeous! I will definitely be purchasing a physical copy for my bookshelf once it releases, and I am eagerly awaiting volume 2!!!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC 🫶🏼

High-Class Homos vol.1 is a cute and fun introduction to the series. I had never heard of the webtoon before this. The premise is really silly and the story follows Princess Sapphia & Prince August who are best friends and when their parents start pressuring them to marry suitors, they start coming up with a plan to marry each other.
The artstyle is adorable and perfectly works with the way the story is told. I love the character design but they don’t really have much depth at least on this first volume. That said this is a really cute introductory tome and i enjoyed my time with it.

Review to come closer to the release day on blog/other places.
I received this book from the publisher/Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.
So I read part of the WebToon many years ago, but stopped reading as I had too many WebToons already. I was hoping to one day pick it up again, so when I spotted this one on Netgalley I saw my chance! I was eager to read more of it, around 50-60% was not new to me, but the rest was and I enjoyed the whole thing.
In this one we meet two characters (and later some others), say hello to princess Sapphia and prince August. These two are the best of friends and also the same in another way. They are both LGBT+. He likes boys (especially one of the knights) and she likes girls (and has been flirting with a lot of the maids). They have to get married and what better plan then to get married together. They can make their parents happy and on top of that pursue their own happiness. I really loved the prince and the princess. OK, Sapphia really needs to learn more about real life, thankfully Odette (one of the maids) is there with her no-nonsense attitude and is more than happy to tell the princess what is up. But both the prince and princess are fun characters and I love their bond, they are really the best of friends and I love how they come to each other to talk about the woes and happy bits of their respective romances.
The romances are a lot of fun. We have Sapphia who loves the maids and is currently dating Marla (who is such a fun character though also a bit of a threat, haha), though through Odette's POV (who is one of the cooks of the castle and totally done with the royals and also radishes) we learn that Odette is definitely in love with Sapphia (after some moments of confusion), so that is a fun one. I am curious if we will eventually just get a poly or if Marla and Sapphia will break up or maybe something else entirely. I am just hoping to see more of these three. And then there is prince August who loves one of the knights named Percival. At the start of the book it is totally obvious that the prince likes Percival, however Percival is a bit thick and it isn't until a bit later that he FINALLY figures things out (though he needs a nudge). I am definitely shipping these two together as they are just the cutest. August is teaching Percival to read and it is so sweet.
I really loved seeing Marla, Odette, Percival, Lucas together and their friendships, but I also love seeing these 4 and our royals do something fun together.
The art was a bit all over the place, it seemed at times that there were multiple styles and it was switching between them which made things quite confusing. Still I did like the art in general, the styles presented are quite fun, though of course I love the one we see on the cover the most.
All in all, I hope that we soon get Volume 2 because I definitely want more of these fab characters and their romances!

First I would like to thank NetGalley, Momozerii and the publisher for this ARC.
I'M SOOO THRILLED THIS IS GOING TO BE AVAILABLE IN PRINT SOON!!!!
I really love the chaotic and loud Sapphia who found her complete opposite in the calm and demure August!
They're dynamic is adorable and their friendship is to die for.
This was such a pleasant read.
It includes an incredible yet diverse cast of characters, beautiful artwork, and funny dialogue.
The charm comes from the subtle details, such as creative ways to get rid of a surplus of radishes, innuendos, and normalized inclusivity.
I'm looking forward to everything that has yet to happen and can't wait to get my hands on a printed version!
I hope the next volume is already in the making because life without Sapphia, August and the rest of their group is going to be mundane... 😉
This is definitely something I will recommend to everyone who likes Graphic Novels, Who's searching for a light or fun read and to ALL of my friends.
So be Warned...😁

Oh my gosh this was so cute! This graphic novel follows a prince and a princess who are both gay and interested in members of the staff. When their parents start pressuring them to get married, they come up with a plan to marry each other instead.
I was immediately hooked by the art style. It's cute, and the colours really caught my eye. While such a minor detail, I really loved how all the dialogue was in a different colour to match the character that was speaking. It really helped my reading experience and made it so much easier to keep track of who was speaking!
Princess Sapphia is a character that I immediately loved. Her first scene was a big entrance, and definitely gave you an idea of her big personality right from the beginning. I also love how we have disability representation with Sapphia- She has a prosthetic leg! Prince August is a bit more mellow, and him and Sapphia make a great pair of friends. They also have a small group of friends, which consists of knights and maids, and they are all super loveable characters as well. The found family is really strong in this one.
This book focuses on two romances, and both of them I found super cute. Both August and Sapphia's relationships are quite different, and that really helped in making sure nothing ever felt repetitive. There are also hints throughout the book at other relationships between side characters, and I can't wait to see how all the romance continues to develop.
Because this book doesn't really dive into any deep topics, I think it makes a perfect read for when you just need something cute and happy. It's a quick read, and I was smiling the entire time I read it. These characters will have your heart from the very first page and you won't be able to put it down.

Thank you NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the ARC 💖
Before being forced to marry someone they could never truly like, Princess Sapphia and Prince August devise a secret plan to secure both their happiness and the prosperity of their kingdoms.
This volume was such a refreshing read! August and Sapphia decide to marry each other in order to pursue their own paths to happiness, not an easy task when you’re royalty.
Sapphia is such a troublemaker: full of energy, yet also gentle and caring. I’m really looking forward to seeing how her love story develops! I’m not sure how I feel about Marla yet but Odette totally stole my heart. She’s reliable and dutiful but she also has her moments.
August and Percival make such a nice couple. I can’t wait for them to confess their love! Percival is absolutely adorable, and I really loved how he was portrayed, who doesn’t love a slightly dense characters? His interactions with August had me giggling more than once!
This isn’t your ordinary fantasy romance story and that’s exactly what makes it so fun and enjoyable.
The art is pretty too, it’s impossible not to fall for these characters.
This was my first time reading a story like this, and I’ll definitely be picking up volume 2!

High-Class Homos by Momozerii
I first read this comic on Webtoon, and I loved it there. When I saw it was available as an ARC to come out in November, I was ecstatic for the author! I love the characters and their clear, unique personalities. Having read the rest of the series available on Webtoon, I enjoyed rereading it and seeing the different tactics that the author uses to discreetly point out future plot twists. I love that it's uncomplicated politically, at least in this volume — honestly, that's what I needed in our current moment. Queer romance drama is what I wanted and needed. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
Thank you to Andrews McMeel Publishing for making this eARC available!

Thank you NetGalley & Andrews McMeel Publishing for sending me an ARC of this amazing book in exchange for an honest review. 💕
I don't usually read Manga or Graphic Novels, but this was a quick and easy read. While the description details Sapphia and August trying to pull off getting married to each other while continuing to explore trying to find true love, this volume was really just an introduction to all the characters, a little back story for each, and how it all will tie together. I did find it to be almost overwhelming at times with how much was introduced in such a small volume, but again the author is trying to set up the story. I do love a cute little witch, and one that has a pet frog is even better. I would continue reading the series.

It’s been a while since I last read a graphic novel, but this one immediately reminded me why I enjoy the genre so much. Despite the limited amount of text, the story manages to convey a surprising amount of depth—both in its characters and its emotional impact. The illustrations do a fantastic job of expressing feelings and atmosphere, often saying more than words ever could. I found myself quickly drawn into the story and am already looking forward to the second volume.
Reading this graphic novel was a refreshing change of pace from the other books I’ve been reading lately. It’s engaging and a great reminder of how powerful visual storytelling can be. I recommend it, whether you’re a long-time comic reader or just looking for something a bit different to break up your usual reading routine.

I’ve already read this story on Webtoon and have been a longtime fan. Seeing it in print reminded me why I love it so much. The plot is fun and chaotic, the cast is diverse and full of personality, and the expressive art style suits the tone perfectly.
What makes this series stand out is its unapologetically queer humor and its playful subversion of royal romance tropes. The sapphic princess, the disaster gay prince, the overly dramatic declarations... it’s all ridiculous in the best way. Like many other readers, I appreciate how it balances lighthearted chaos with a few surprisingly heartfelt moments.
I do have a preference for the webtoon app/scrolling-on-your-phone version, but this adaptation is great. If you’re into queer romcoms with vibrant characters and a lot of charm, this is a great place to start

So adorable and unapologetically (and chaotically) queer - enjoyed this read from start to finish, and would love to see more of Luna the Witch and see how the upcoming royal nuptials pan out in future volumes! Vol 1 does well establishing characters and relationships, and though the art style can be inconsistent at times I'm excited to watch it develop further along with the lavender marriage plot. Overall a fun and cute low stakes read with plenty of room to grow!

so cute! thanks to netgalley and publisher for allowing me to read an arc copy!! i went in only knowing the base plot but it ended up being so much more. i was hooked from the beginning. the art style is the cutest… i love the use of color. the romances were cute to read. i’m also curious to see how the story will go as the ending left me hanging! this was really good and id recommend reading it when it comes out in november!

What a fun graphic novel! I really enjoyed the storyline and the interaction between the different characters. The artwork is adorable and vibrant, and I am very interested to continue reading the series. Overall, reading this was an enjoyable, fun time!
