I had high hopes for Dawn of Fate and Fire by Mariely Lares. The concept of the series sounds fantastic and even though the first book was a little underwhelming and poorly written, I thought the second book would be better but I'm kind of sad that it didn't deliver. The writing itself was lacking, the storyline got a little confusing with so many characters and the pacing was off.
