I have to admit, I got through 25 percent of this book, and I am DNFing it. I will explain why.

This book is marketed as literary fiction, but it reads as Christain fiction. I understand that during times of life and death, many turn to religion or the lack of religion, but it was constantly discussed.

The point of view was from 5 different people. Two people is the max for me, sometimes 3, but 5 is too much to get invested in the characters.

I noticed the word "pragmatic" was used 3 times in the short amount that I read. I got curious and searched my eBook to see how much the word was used in the whole book, and it was used 12 times.

I decided not to finish the book. It wasn't for me.
