This is officially my favorite book in the series!

Aurora has done something that not many authors are able to do, which is make me like a character I previously disliked. I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about Iris’ book after she continuously rubbed me the wrong way in the previous book. But I was pleasantly surprised!

I loved the growth Iris experienced. She will always be a prickly baddie. But I love that she realized her prejudice against the demons and was able to be more open minded. Although I don’t know how she resisted Meph for as long as she did.

I absolutely loved that Meph the giant, tattoo covered, red eyed demon was so unserious most of the time. Except for when it came to Iris, his brothers, and his art. He had me cracking up throughout the book. But my heart also broke for his hidden insecurities.

Iris and Meph had so much in common and handed their trauma in completely different ways. But it also made them perfect for each other. Between the two of them there is nothing they can’t accomplish. Their chemistry and spice was incredible! I feel like Aurora really kicked it up a notch with the spice in this one.

The narration for this book wasn’t my favorite. It nah have been an author choice but I found it distracting how Iris’ Irish accent would come and go. It is always challenging for one narrator to take on such a full cast of characters, and I really appreciate her effort. But I felt like she ran out of voices, especially with the male characters and it was hard for me to distinguish who was talking at times.

Thank you to Aurora and Recorded Books for this ALC.

"You make me a better person. I've never laughed so much in my life as when I'm with you. You might think you're some dark, demented beast, but to me, you're a ray of goddamn sunshine."

I was lucky enough to not only read but also listen to the audiobook. The narrator, Kirsten Leigh, did a fantastic job portraying the characters.

The relationship between Meph and Iris is full of tension, banter, and chemistry, which made for a fun, steamy read. Iris hated to love Meph.

They have both been through so much trauma. It's truly a story of healing with a fresh start for both of them!

I loved the fact that Meph wanted a motherly figure and therefore spent so much time with Jacqui. Their relationship was full of mutual caring and shared interest in art. I also appreciated that Meph has no control when it comes to speaking his mind.

My favorite part will forever be the relationship the brothers share. They care so deeply about each other but struggle to show their emotions properly.

I loved this!

I would definitely suggest reading the first two before even attempting this one. I had not read the first two books before and spent most of the beginning of the book saying, "I don't know what's going on but I know I am having a good time." Don't get me wrong the author fills you in of who everyone was and what happened in the previous book, but you are still being led by the arm for most of it.

10/10 spice. Love that shit. All of them should be written like this.

He is very much the sarcastic ass and she is the grumpy bitch and honestly that is my favorite paring. I also loved to see them become cute towards each other at the end because you don't keep up the other act forever.

The flow of their relationship was realist I have read. There was little to no awkwardness. They wanted one another and they did what adults would do. They gave into their need for one another and had a friendly sexy relationship that soon became deeper than that. It progressed organically and their wasn't really a 3rd act break up.

I loved this book! Kirsten Leigh is a fantastic narrator for the dual and multi POV Hell Bent series and I’m eagerly waiting for books four and five.

While it isn’t necessary to read books one and two first, it will help adding to the back story, especially to Iris’ attitude towards the demons. I love this series, as it is equal parts character growth and plot development. Each book so far has included its own arch, with the two MCs experiencing significant challenges and growth, while also staying true to an overarching plot that we watch develop a bit with each new book. Iris and Meph are no different in Demon with Benefits, and while there are some darker undertones (MMC’s backstory) this book is a lot spicier than the first two! I suppose the title clues us in on that, though!

I recommend this series to anyone just looking for fun romance. And this book specifically for readers who prefer the spicier variety.

Thanks to Net galley and the publishers for this Audio ARC.

This was a great story. I really liked the narrator. I also really liked seeing Meph and Iris fall in love. This was a really fun addition, I really liked the two characters and I also liked seeing the other characters.

Demon with benefits audiobook thanks to NetGalley😋🤏
A little bit about this book:
~Unexpected hellhound puppy
~Witches with “friendly/good” demons
~ Demon struggling to accept himself
~ it gave reverse grumpy sunshine vibes to me
I give this book 3🌟!!

While it was entertaining, there were parts that fell flat for me.

rated on my bookstagram as well

This was the first book I read/listened to of this series and I loved it. I can't wait to finish the series. I listened to this book while reading it and I loved the voice of the narrator, she kept my attention the whole time which is a huge plus for me. The story was awesome, it started as Iris and Meph kind of friends and enemies but later turned to a romance. I loved the attraction right from the beginning and didn't to wait long before something happened with those two. First they started with friends with benefits which soon became more. I was really hooked when she changed him when he was back to his demon form.

I loved the story! I like the vivid descriptions of the characters, the sassynes, and the plot, but I did not like the narrator for the audio book. I feel like it wasn't the best choice. I would read the book again! I wouldn't listen to the audio book. I'm gonna rate it 4 stars, based on the author's work (not the audio book)

I can’t resist a witchy read, so I was really excited for Aurora Ascher’s Demon with Benefits! Meph is always the jokester of his brothers, but his composure is getting harder to keep together, especially around Iris. Iris is haunted by her traumatic past and has sworn off of commitments. But she can’t stop herself from craving Meph—and when the return of an enemy changes everything, it’s not just this villain they have to face, it’s their feelings too. This is a very steamy enemies-to-lovers paranormal romance. This can, for sure, be read as a stand-alone. I didn’t feel lost at all at the characters, but I do wish I had read them in order because I do think that would’ve just added to the story. And I did really like the magic of these characters, and the chemistry between Meph and Iris is so strong. My favorite moments with them though were their moments of growth together and banter. The writing is funny and endearing, and it was just a good time. Meph has so many layers to his character, and Iris is so afraid to get hurt and just wants to be loved so much; they’re a great balance together, and they’re so easy to root for. This is overall a fun, steamy, paranormal read.

Thank you to NetGalley, Aurora Ascher, and RBMedia for this eALC! I have loved this series so far and was excited to listen to this as an audiobook this time! Meph is my fave of the demon brothers, and his chemistry and connection with Iris was steamy and sweet and funny!

Their first time together was mind blowing! One of the sexiest books I’ve ever read. It’s mainly spice, some plot for the first half of the book, focusing on their steamy chemistry. But it quickly escalates once they both start feeling like they want more than just the benefits, and I really liked how they both had to independently explore and deal with their pasts and current issues to move past them and be together.

I also liked how this book seamlessly connected the past two and will also propel further plot into the next two books. I hope we get to see Bel and Raum getting some kind of satisfactory happy ending too!

I really liked the narrator. She’s great at changing her voice, pacing and emotion for each character, especially since there are multiple POV’s. For the author, my only recommendation would be to maybe add subtitles to show that, or split up into chapters with a dual narrator of some kind for male characters. Other than that, this audiobook version was amazing and I really enjoyed this book so much!!

3.75/5

Book 3, and while I did not read books 1-2. I felt a little behind on some explanations but not enough that I was lost with the plot of the book. This is a multi-POV book to give you more than just the main characters.

Iris, is a twin without powers like her sister. Even though a prophecy said they both would be powerful. Meph, is a demon who is fully tattooed and has quiet the collection of piercings. He also has a skilled tongue in his demon form... And they don't particularly like each other, but when Meph makes a move they both enter into a benefits situation.

I truly thought this book was going to be all spice but was surprised when the plot took over and loved what was happening. I would also like a hellhound, they seem cuddly.

Spice starts at Ch. 7
Spice Level: 2.5/5

I received an advance review copy audio version. Thank you to NetGalley and RBmedia | Recorded Books, for the opportunity to listen to this book. Kirsten Leigh an amazing job narrating this audiobook

This is the third book in the Hell Bent series. It follows Iris and Meph who both have difficult pasts. Iris has black cat energy, which I love when the FMC has this. Meph is a morally grey golden retriever which I also love. They are complete opposites that totally work together. The tension is delicious and when they come together 🤯. It's heavy on tragic backstories for both characters. Meph's conflict with his demon and the resolution felt good.

I put off listening to this series for unknown reasons, but they are a fun, short listen. The narrator is great. Her voices for the different characters are not irritating and doesn't take me out of the story.

I received an ARC of Demon with Benefits audiobook from NetGalley.

I freaking loved this! I loved the story and characters. I had been looking forward to Mephs story. And now he is my favorite so far! I love the found family and the banter. The vulnerability he shows in the book touched my heart!

Aurora Ascher delivers a wickedly delightful paranormal romance in Demon with Benefits, blending scorching chemistry, heart, chaos in all the best ways. At the center of this electrifying story are Mephistopheles: Meph for short a demon with a quirky side and Iris a witch whos life purpose is to kill the demon who unalived her parents, a pair who could not be more different yet burn with magnetic tension from the very start.

Iris is the kind of heroine you root for from the first page: smart, determined, and just jaded enough to make her banter sing. When a demon barges into her life in a blaze of infernal charm, she doesn’t just swoon she negotiates. Meph, the demon in question, is maddeningly charismatic, equal parts sultry and sarcastic, and carries his otherworldly baggage like a badge of honor yet has a soft side and believes he is unworthy of love. His demon literally eats fear. Watching the two collide is a thrill. Watching them fall for each other is even better.

The plot brims with supernatural hijinks, sizzling slow-burn heat, and unexpected emotional depth. Ascher gives Meph more than a devilish smirk—he has layers, regrets, and a surprising softness that sneaks up on both Iris and the reader. Together, they unravel secrets, challenge cosmic rules between hell and earth, and, somehow, make each other feel human.

Listening to the audiobook became so addictive, without the narration by Kirsten Leigh, who brings both characters to life with precision and soul. Her voice captures Iris’s sarcasm and strength just as effortlessly as she channels Meph’s seductive growl and emotional nuance. She adds a layer of richness to the story that pulls you in deeper, giving every scene weight, spark, and feeling. Ascher gives comedic relief at the right times while pushing you to the edge of your seat at other times if you want an original unique romantic smutty comedy with witches, demons and epic setting, with a dash of monster smut this book is for you!

It’s giving witty, sexy, and enchantingly weird in the best way, Demon with Benefits is a romance that grabs you by the heart and doesn’t let go. Meph and Iris are a duo you’ll want to revisit again and again. I never knew I could be so into monster smut 😈

The 3rd installment of the "Hell Bent" Series has not disappointed. It's got the spice and comedy of the first two books. I liked the enemy to lover thorp between Meph and Iris, with a little Hell Hound thrown in. Them both coming to terms with who they are throughout their trials to become stronger always gives me the feels. Finding out the scariest demon is really just a softy is just the cherry on top!

The narrator, Kirsten Leigh, did a great job reading this story!

I absolutely love this series. This one is about our friend Meph and he meets his interest named Iris. You are completely sucked into their journey from their first meeting until now and how they finally give into their attraction to each other. I love the multiple POVS and the friend group is hilarious.

Thank you to Net Galley and RBmedia for the ALC of this title.
This was my least favorite of the series so far. It was slow to start and went straight to the spice. The plot came later. I would have DNF'd this one if it wasn't an ARC. Iris and Meth were no big fans of one another until they were...LOL. Overall, the book was okay. I will continue the series since I really enjoyed the first two books.

Every time I read one of these I say “this one is my favorite”. And it’s always true. I was wondering how it was going to work with Iris and Meph- their personalities are so different. The chemistry, though, was absolutely through the roof. It was amazing watching these two grow, watching Iris slowly let go of some of her hang-ups and letting people in. Meph seems like the least messed up of the brothers in the first two books (forgetting the fact that his entire body is tattooed); but you get to see so much more of his nature here. His relationship with Jackie was so sweet.

This book does deal more into trauma, self-worth and mental health issues so if that is hard for anyone… just be aware. Meph hates his demon form to the point that he split his two personalities and had his brother help him so that he never shifts. Meph’s hang-ups on the things his demon does- how it feeds off of other’s fears, that it’s always hungry- were understandable, real. I mean, the man needs therapy- they both do… but it was interesting. I loved how the author merged their stories, giving them the same villian. Valforte had killed Iris’ parents and made her sister and her go into hiding. He had also taken Meph’s demon and turned it into a weapon, torturing him to keep him in check. I think my favorite thing, though, was the interactions everyone had with demon- Meph. For me, this is a five star book. It was hilarious, sweet, sexy (oddly) and just so great.

As far as adult content, there is a large amount of language, sexual content that includes non-human anatomy, violence and talk of past trauma. It could be hard for certain readers.

I was lucky enough to receive an advanced audio from Netgalley working with Recorded Books media in exchange for an honest review. My thanks!

Just solidifying how much I love this series, the story of Meph might be my favorite so far! His heartbreaking backstory and acceptance that he didn’t deserve love but finding someone to love all his forms! Iris annoyed me before this book but getting more of her backstory definitely made me like her. She’s really just a scared badass trying to protect her sister and her heart!

I think another big part of why I enjoyed the book so much was the narration, Kirsten Leigh is always great!

Thank you NetGalley and RBmedia for the audio copy of this book. As always, all thoughts are my own.

Hot hot hot!! This third book in the series is just as fun as the first two. This haters-to-lovers romance takes witch Iris and demon Meph on a wild ride of danger, romance, and friendship. I highly recommend you read the other two books first but, it can be read as a stand-alone!
