I have absolutely loved this series, and book 3 did not disappoint! I had a blast listening to this one. It immediately sucked me in. It was funny mixed with deep emotion, suspenseMe and great character growth. We also got to visit characters from earlier books. The author has done a great job building an interesting world that's set on Earth but other worldly creatures have ended up on it. It's really a good idea to read this series from the beginning as some things carry over into the next couple of books even though the couples change. Meph and Iris were a great couple, I really enjoyed following their journey. The backstories of these two characters were tragic and tough, but they learned and grew separately and together as a couple as the story progressed. If you are looking for a unique and interesting paranormal romance series, look no further. This series isn't without spice and some violence, but it made the story fantastic--in my opinion. I listened to this on audiobook. The narrators did a great job bringing the characters to life. I received this book from RB Media and Netgalley. All opinions are my own.

Demon with Benefits delivers a heartfelt enemies‑to‑lovers paranormal romance filled with humor, emotional depth, and steamy moments. One of the standout strengths is the found‑family dynamic in such an unusual place; from unusual characters and I loved it ! The banter between Iris and Meph, along with moments of loyalty and growth within their group, felt genuinely engaging and brought several secondary characters to life althought some of the backstories weren’t deeply explored in my opinion.
That the one flip side for me: while the focus on Iris and Meph works well, several side characters received only brief glimpses. Some listeners might wish for more fleshed-out arcs among the supporting cast, especially given the story’s rich ensemble backdrop.
Despite that, the slow burn romance was satisfying, and the mix between the emotional journey (especially Meph’s arc from trauma toward connection) and sarcastic/banter tone is compelling and gives a truely unique tone to this story.
A highlight was definitely the narrator’s performance especially during sarcastic phrases and passages, got me giggling on many instances

This was another fun installment in the series. I’m really enjoying the world-building and the overarching plot. It’s also silly and goofy, so don’t take it too seriously. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book.

I was so looking forward to this couple!!
This is my favorite book in the series so far; it's becoming one of my favorites in the urban fantasy genre. I simply love the humor in these books; the characters feel real and fresh.
Iris's past and the way she processes her traumas is so compelling to me, I really liked her character and all the development she had. I've always had a soft spot for the jokester so I obviously couldn't help but fall for Meph.
I love the way Kirsten Leigh narrates all the characters, male and female, this series has some of the best solo narration I've ever read. I highly recommend it if you like to read in audiobook format.

I got the audiobook through NetGalley, and overall, I really enjoyed it! I haven’t read the first two books in the series, but I was still able to follow the story pretty easily, it works well as a standalone. That said, I do think reading the earlier books would give you a better feel for the characters and world.
The story was fun, with a good balance of humor, heat, and supernatural drama. The narration was solid and kept me engaged throughout. If you're into paranormal romance with a bit of spice and attitude, this one’s worth a listen.

Ooooh my babies! This one was hard fought because things were not easy or simple for Meph & Iris but I have to say this is probably my favorite one so far just because of the chemistry and the back story of the characters, this isn't your usual paranormal romance but I absolutely gobbled it up and fell in love with these two! This was a perfect listen!

😈 Bookish Thoughts
Ok ok, I have to admit that I like Iris now! I lowkey hated her in book two, but she really redeemed herself here. She showed actual growth, and while she’s still not my favorite of the FMCs, I was rooting for her and Meph.
And Meph?! Oh my demon, I love him. He’s officially my favorite demon boy. His back story had me 😭😭😭
We also got more worldbuilding in this one. I’m fully locked in for the rest of the series!

Thank you to RBmedia and NetGalley for the advanced listening copy. All thoughts are my own.

This book was such a fun read! I’ve really been enjoying this series—it’s got the perfect mix of humor, spice, and supernatural charm. The characters are lovable (and delightfully chaotic), the pacing keeps things moving, and the romance is just the right level of steamy without taking itself too seriously.
Thank you to NetGalley and RBMedia for the advanced audio copy! I loved everything about it!!

Demon with Benefits picks up right where we left off in book 2, diving back into the chaotic and irresistible world of demons who have escaped from hell—and the humans (or not-so-humans) they can’t seem to stay away from. This installment focuses on Meph and Iris, whose snarky, tension-filled dynamic has been brewing since book two. Their enemies-to-lovers arc really hits its stride here, fueled by biting banter, clashing ideals, and undeniable chemistry. The friction between them is electric, and watching that slow-burn shift into something deeper was completely satisfying.
What really stood out to me was the emotional growth both characters undergo. Meph reveals a much more complex and vulnerable side through his artwork, giving us a glimpse beneath his cocky exterior. Iris, meanwhile, is on her own path of growth—learning how to confront her fears, question her biases, and ultimately open herself up to a world she once rejected. Their journeys are messy, heartfelt, and surprisingly tender. If you've been loving the mix of sass, spice, and supernatural tension in this series, book three is where it all pays off.

Thank you to NetGalley for this Audio ARC
I adore this series , I was so excited for a enemies to lovers trope!
This turned into a enemies with benefits to lovers instead which was super delicious.
The chemistry between Meph and Iris was off the charts and I really loved the slow burn of their relationship.
I really enjoyed how both their characters develop after their trip to hell.
I want more from this series and I can't wait for the next book - Aurora keeps topping herself with every new story

I’ve been looking forward to this book since I finished My Demon Hunter a few months ago. I just knew I was going to love Meph. Him and Iris starting off as frenemies with benefits had me kicking my feet for which one of them was going to admit they had real feelings first. I like how the author leaves enough of the plot points open to tie all the books together and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

The third installment in the Hell Bent series was such a fun listen. This time the story focuses on Iris and Meph. They have this love/hate relationship and there was a sizzling scene early on that left me giggling. You could feel the tension in that room. This is a steamy paranormal romance with complex characters. I must say that I really loved the addition of a puppy! The characters in this one have a lot of emotional baggage that was done with great. I must say that I also liked Meph’s other version. Some of the scenes were hilarious but also serious and steamy. Most of the issues were resolved in this book, but there is one major plot that wasn't fully resolved. But I’m okay with that, since I have enjoyed these characters and I’m looking forward to reading the next one. The narrator, Kirsten Leigh did a good job portraying all of the characters. She kept me engaged till the very end.
A very special thanks to Recorded Books and Netgalley for the ALC.

The third installment of the Hell Bent series focuses on Iris and the “big scary” brother demon and how they go from friends with benefits to having feelings. While the growth between these two characters finding themselves through each other is great, the outside, overarching storylines made things hard to follow. Having a bonus chapter in the middle of the book was also a little surprising and unexpected. I do wish the narrator had more of an accent to fit the Irish FMC but overall the story was entertaining.

Another great demon story. While I think the over arching story of the Hell Bent series is being sidelined to include more spice, I still think this series is such a fun smutty read. I’m anxious to read the next story and see if we get closer to an epic finale.

Thants to RBmedia and NetGalley for the advance listener copy! I loved the story and the narrator did a great job with both the male and female voices! This is my favorite of the series so far. I really loved Meph, he was such a laid back character and acted like nothing bothered him and he was just after a good time. He didn’t want love or a relationship, just some fun sexy times. Iris taught her attraction became se she’s been preparing to fight off demons her entire adult life but she eventually gives in to their chemistry. Once Meph realizes his feelings he falls hard and confess his feelings to Iris and she pushes him away. She almost instantly regrets her actions but by then Meph is in serious trouble and she must face her fears to help save him. There was great banter, spice and adventure! Highly recommend!

Demon with Benefits by Aurora Ascher

This is book 3 in the Hell Bent series and it was just as amazing as the first two books! Aurora Ascher's books never fail to make me feel happy. The characters are unique and likable, there's just the right amount of spice, the pacing of the story is perfect, the plot remains interesting troughout the series, there's a lot of humor in her books and you always end up really rooting for the couple to be together. 🖤
I'm already looking forward to book 4

In this book the story revolves around heavily tattooed & pierced, permanently grinning, creative, foul mouthed, brutally honest, demon Meph and blue-haired, slightly unfriendly, bloodborne witch Iris.
They can't stand one another but because Meph's brother and Iris's twin sister are in a relationship they keep crossing paths anyway. One thing leads to another and let's just say they are very compatible physically 🤭. Of course there's drama from Hell which brings them closer together in the end.

🎧 The audio 🎧
The quality of the audio was great. Narrator Kirsten Leigh has a very pleasent voice and her way of storytelling is very fun to listen to. She's also great at doing the male voices in a non-cringe manner.

Thank you #NetGalley for letting review #DemonwithBenefits

That's my least favorite in the series so far...
I was really anticipating Meph's book but I ended up being disappointed. It was pretty boring and I think that I don't like Iris and Meph together .
I wish the romance was smaller part of this book because the plot was really lacking. 70% of the book was just them fucking then at some point plot was thrown at us, not a fan.
I wasn't the biggest Iris's fan in the previous book and It did not change. Her growth felt unsatisfying for some reasons.
And Meph was the same as the other books, goofy, unserious Meph but this book was suppose to reveal his painful past which it did but in the end ! I wanted crumble of info here and there but the reveal did not feel organic ...
I will definitely reading the rest of the series !

3/5 🌶️ 😈
The Hell Bent series is a whole lot of depravity wrapped with a nice little romantic bow. That’s not to say there isn’t a plot, the overarching plot flows into one another book to book with the writing getting progressively better in my opinion. If you’re on the look out for a spicy monster novel you really can’t go wrong with this one.

I loved this book getting to read the third installment of the series with the “third Brother“ and Iris the twin sister and watching them grow together and as people was lovely, and the spice was very spicy and very interesting what that demon can do.
I was able to listen to the audio version of this

Demon with Benefits by Aurora Ascher surprised me—in a good way. I expected a spicy paranormal romance with some banter and chaos, but it actually had a lot of heart too. Meph is the charming, sarcastic demon who hides his pain behind jokes, and Iris is the hot-headed witch who’s been through way too much to fall for that. Their dynamic is so fun to watch unfold—enemies to something way more complicated.
I usually lean toward dual POV, but this worked without it. You can really feel Meph’s unraveling through Iris’s eyes, and the writing makes it easy to follow both sides of the story. It’s got the spice, the sass, and just enough emotion to keep you invested.
If you’re into demon love interests, witchy heroines, emotional baggage, and sharp banter with soft undercurrents—this one’s worth picking up.
