In the third book in the Hell Bent series, Aurora has done it AGAIN!!!
Told in third person multi-POV. Solo narration brought to life by Kirsten Leigh.
This time we have Meph and Iris Donovan. Iris is adjusting to her twin finding her soul mate, or as she knows Mist as — her boyfriend. He has a group of friends that put her on edge.
Meph is all things banter, angst, and definitely not a commitment type of guy. But watching him, and his decorated self, fall for Iris is everything I love and crave in my books.
Tropes: Demons, Found Family, Banter, Strong FMC, FWB, Monster Romance, Hate to Love, anxiety rep

This is book three in the Hell Bent series, and while I haven’t read the first two (My Funny Demon Valentine and My Demon Hunter), I still really enjoyed Demon with Benefits. That said, I do think reading them in order would help you feel a bit more connected to the larger cast and backstory. Still, you can definitely enjoy this one as a standalone!
This story follows Meph, a demon who hides his pain behind humor, and Iris, a hot headed witch who wants nothing to do with demons or commitment. Both characters are emotionally guarded and dealing with trauma, so when sparks start flying, they agree to keep things casual: a no strings attached, friends with benefits situation. Of course, that doesn't last long.
The chemistry between them is intense, and I loved watching their dynamic slowly shift as they started to actually care for each other. Their banter is fun, the steam is high, and there’s a lot of heart beneath the surface. Meph especially surprised me there’s so much vulnerability behind his cocky grin.
The romance leans into monster kink and paranormal tropes (yes, there are claws, fangs, tongue 😂 etc.), so if you’re into spicy monster romances, this will hit the spot.
I’ll definitely be going back to read books one and two!
I received the ALC, thank you to RBmedia, Recorded Books, for the advanced copy!
I really enjoyed Kirsten Leigh’s narration. She brought the characters to life so well and captured their emotions perfectly.

Demon with Benefits was such a fun, addictive read. Meph is this tattooed demon who looks intimidating but is secretly a total softy, and I really enjoyed how layered his character was. The banter had me actually laughing out loud more than once as it’s sharp, sarcastic, and hits at just the right moments.
What really makes this series stand out, though, is the dynamic between the demon crew and their ladies. Their chemistry and constant roasting of each other are top tier, and it gives the story so much heart and personality.
Iris was a great match for Meph. Her growth throughout the book, especially while navigating past trauma, was really well done, and I loved seeing her come into her own. The romance felt genuine and balanced the steam with emotional depth. This one technically works as a standalone, but I’d recommend reading it after book two to fully appreciate the background connections. Also… the hellhound puppy? Absolute highlight.
Final thoughts: Super spicy, unexpectedly heartfelt, and just a really solid monster romance.

DemonWithBenefits is book three of the HellBent series by AuroraAscher. And is a 3.75 ⭐️ read.
This book comes to life with a Dominant Bad Arse Witch who is lost in wanting revenge, and a Dominant Demon who is running from his past. You can imagine the push and pull these two characters are likely to bring, and you aren’t wrong.
I so enjoyed this story, which is a continuation from book one and two.
Favourite Quote: “That was a pretty epic decapitation brother, you sure you got your rage under control?”

Not even a little bit surprised to say this book was an absolute blast. Sexy, funny, and just the right amount of ridiculous—in the best way. The chemistry was fun, the banter made me laugh out loud, and overall? It was such an enjoyable, easy-to-devour read.

Enemies to lovers done right!!! These two are fantastic and the perfect fit for each other. He's the fun time jokester of the demon boys and she's the prickly witch often called a word that rhymes with witch! They snark, pick on and torment each other right into bed and the spice is fabulous, but the dialogue is where it is all at! You definitely want to listen to this series in order as each book builds upon the last and introduces a few more characters in each book. The narrator does an absolutely amazing job of bringing the characters, the action, the drama and the spice to life so if you are an audio fan like me, this series needs to go on your must listen shelf! If you like a fun paranormal spicy romance, then you have fallen into the right place! Both of the main characters are flawed and emotionally damaged, but that makes them feel all the more real (yeah, yeah..I know demons, witches and reality don't go hand in hand, but read or listen to the book and you'll see what I mean!) So many of us have the same feelings of abandonment and failure syndrome that you can really relate to these characters in spite of the whimsical aspect of their genetics. The humor is fantastic in each book, but I swear I felt like I broke my face smiling with this book in spite of the heavier aspects of the storyline. The plot is so wonderfully woven that you feel like you are spending time with old friends rather than reading a paranormal romance story! I absolutely can't wait for the next book in the series to be created and narrated as this series is definitely on my must listen list!

Demon with Benefits was a quick, fun, and sexy read. This is the third book in the Hell Bent series and it’s the perfect companion. I would definitely read the first two books as this one builds upon those. I love reading about the characters and their world and love seeing the story unfold. What I love most about these two main characters is how they are one way in front of everyone else but in front of each other that are so cuddly and sweet. It’s such a great escape that keeps me entertained. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a great job. ♥️
I would like to thank RBmedia and NetGalley for giving me an ARC (which did not sway my opinions or review).

I absolutely loved this reverse grumpy-sunshine romance where *Iris* is the grump and *Meph* is the sunshine. Both characters are hiding behind layers of trauma, but their chemistry is undeniable. We’re pulled back into the world where the twin witches, and demon boys are in hiding, with new demons and hellhounds adding to the chaos.
It’s such a treat to see cameos from previous characters—the story feels like a natural extension of the earlier books. This world is packed with quirky, lovable, and deeply flawed characters you can’t help but root for. It’s like a spicy Hallmark town with demons, magic, and heart.
I loved the narration and this book is great as an immersive read.
I’m already counting down the days until the next book!
4.25

It’s the first book of this series that i’ve interacted with, and there was enough info in it that I was never super lost in what was happening. The banter was fun, the smut was….interesting, I didn’t really enjoy some of the descriptors that were used, but that’s just my personal preference. It was an entertaining book.
While I really enjoyed the narrator, a few times it seemed as if they had an accent that slipped through when voicing the MC, It was very inconsistent. They did bring the characters to life really well. They nailed the tone and atmosphere of the book.
Thank you Net Galley for the ALC.

I wanna thank netgalley for giving me a audio arc of this book.
I haven’t read the first two books in this series so the start was a bit difficult.
This book has quite some spice in it, but I would say that spice and plot are well balanced. I also quite enjoyed the writing style. It was funny, romantic and even a bit thrilling at the end. This book has multiple point of views not just our main couples what was a bit confusing at some point after reading the entire book I’m still not completely sure why we needed some of these points of shoes, but that probably will be made clear in the next book.
In conclusion, I would definitely recommend picking this one up if you enjoy the series I do think you need to read the first two books. They’re really get the most enjoyment. I love this one.

I love this series so much and it just gets better as the stories continue. I love Meph in books one and two and I was really excited for him to find someone to rise to his shenanigans and sass. Iris I enjoyed in book two and I think that she was a great choice. The banter between these two is hilarious and when they got passed their passive aggressive attitudes towards each other they really just fit right together. It's also worth mentioning that their chemistry in the bedroom is top notch. Normally I am not a fan of miscommunication but in the instance that it happened here I think that it was really important to the growth of both Iris and Meph. I loved the lengths that Iris was willing to go to help him and bring him back home. My other favorite part of this series is getting ongoing storylines from the other books that while somewhat background noise are extremely important to the series as a whole. I love all of the secondary characters and was really happy to see that there was another couple who got a second chance at their happy every after. I think that this is my favorite of the series so far.
As with the other two audios for this series I absolutely love the way that Kirsten Leigh brings these stories and characters to life. I can't wait to listen to her narrate the rest of the upcoming books!

I knew I would like seeing Meph and the MMC of a story and I am glad to say I was correct! He’s funny, guarded, tortured, and hot as sin. I loved getting to go into his background and see why he is the way he is. His interactions/relationship with Iris is full of sizzling tension and good banter. Their enemies with benefits vibes are so fun and I love how it grows into real companionship. We get good action in DWB as well, and a look into the stories of a few other characters. The climax and resolution of the story was great and I really like the epilogue. As usual, I’m super excited for the next installment!

Thank you
📖🎧 Book Review 🎧📖 The gang is all back and better than ever! There are just not enough words for how much I absolutely adore this quirky paranormal dark romance series that endeared itself in my heart. And while I have the entire beautiful set of sprayed edges pre-ordered to display on my trophy wall of favorite books, I love getting advanced copies to get a jump start of my favorite motley crew. And I unabashedly appreciate a hybrid so that the amazing narrator, Kirsten Leigh, can help me with the pronunciation of the demon names. Demon With Benefits focuses on Meph and Iris, bringing endless laughs and romance in this Hell Bent universe that always delivers a good time!

This book (and series) is sinfully good. The demons have heart and everyone has emotional baggage and trauma that they work through to find true love. I think Meph and Iris are my favorite couple so far in the series because Meph has the golden retriever vibes but also he deserved to find happiness. Iris took a little time to be likable but once she got out of her own way she was much better. The spice was spicy and there was tons of emotion and plot.
The narrator did a phenomenal job, from the variety of accents and stellar voice acting she really did the thing with this book.

I love this series so much. Demon with benefits is so good. It’s the perfect listen to while cleaning, crocheting, walking etc audio book. Plot, romance, spice. The narrator was a great job and fits the characters perfect. The enemies to lovers is hot. 🥵

This is the first book in the series, and I’m absolutely hooked! Iris and Meph are an unstoppable couple with a scorching chemistry. The book starts with them succumbing to their attraction and the challenges that come with it, before transitioning into a more dangerous and suspenseful part. I thoroughly enjoyed witnessing their relationship grow and her acceptance of him. It was a beautiful portrayal of love and acceptance. I’m eagerly looking forward to reading the other books because I loved the humor and banter in this one. Overall, it was a fun and spicy read with some depth, and I can’t wait to delve into the stories of the other brothers.

This was another fun installment in the series. I’m really enjoying the world-building and the overarching plot. It’s also silly and goofy, so don’t take it too seriously. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book.

*♡Thank you to to Aurora Ascher, RB Media and Netgalley for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion♡*
Demons With Benefits was such a fun, spicy read! The banter between the main characters had me actually laughing out loud, and the MMC? Where do I get my own demon boyfriend like that?! He was hot, dangerous, and totally swoon-worthy. It had just the right mix of heat, humour, and heart. Definitely a hellishly good time! 🔥😈
Special shout out to Kristen Leigh on her narrating, she was the perfect choice 🤌🏼🖤

This was a great breather for anyone recovering from a series! Though it is technically the third installment in the Hell Bent series, it can also be read as a standalone. 3 stars because it is more spice than plot but the plot is definitely there and easy to follow. If you love enemies to lovers and a fun puppy side plot, you will love this book! The narrator is fantastic if you choose the audio!

Narrated by Kirsten Leigh
Demons with Benefits is the 3rd installment in Aurora Ascher’s Hell Bent series. Book 1 was about Ash (Asmodeus), Book 2 about Mist (Mishetsumephtai), but this one was all about Meph (Mephistopheles)… Meph is my favorite demon in the series so far!!
Kirsten Leigh did an AMAZING job with the audiobook narration. She really brings the characters to life and the pace was perfect.
I love this series so much, and am beyond thankful to have received a gifted, advanced copy of the audiobook from NetGalley and RBMedia in exchange for a honest review.
