I am excited to add this book to my collection of cookbooks. I already own Joshua's first two books which I cook from quite often. The pasta recipes I have made from his previous books have become favorites and so I am excited to cook through this book. I love how the book is organized by noodle, sauce and season. The information about the pasta types and tips on building a sauce is so beneficial in helping to execute a beautiful and delicious result. This book naturally fits in with his first two books and the illustrations and photography are stunning!

Almost everyone loves pasta. And almost everyone makes favorite pasta dishes at home. And most of us want to learn to cook it better and make new dishes with pasta. One of the best ways to accomplish this is to pick up a good cookbook filled with information that will make our pasta experience better. Six Seasons of Pasta: A New Way with Everyone's Favorite Food is one such cookbook, filled with mouthwatering pasta dishes and information that will improve our methods.
There are recipes for accompaniments to the pasta dishes such as salad and garlic bread, as well as dozens of sauces that can be used in the dishes that follow. There is also information on equipment and recommended brands of dried pasta.

The recipes are divided into six seasons; with recipes to serve during all the seasons of the year. The recipes are written in the traditional way with the ingredients listed first, followed by step-by-step instructions that are easy for anyone to follow. Most of the ingredients are easy to obtain at any mainstream grocery store.

The recipes are accompanied by beautiful, professional photographs that make the dishes seem even more mouthwatering. All told, this is an excellent pasta primer and belongs on every pasta lovers cookbook shelf.

Special thanks to NetGalley for supplying a review copy of this book.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of "Six Seasons of Pasta" by Joshua McFadden. All opinions are my own.

This is a great, comprehensive cookbook on everything you need to know about pasta. I love all of the information at the beginning before the recipes. I plan on purchasing this when it comes out.

Great pasta recipes with a bunch of accompaniments. I would gladly make them all for family dinners and visiting guests.

Let me start off by saying this book is beautiful. The pictures, the layout - the visual appeal is high. I also love the guides - how to pick a good pasta, how to create your own versions of things - so useful! I love to make new foods, but I also love to learn. Overall a great book.

Gorgeous!
Gorgeous pictures, gorgeous illustrations and gorgeous recipes
I usually consider a cook book a hit if I want to make 4+ recipes, here I want to make almost every single one.
Interesting and informative I don’t think it matters if you’re a complete beginner or have been cooking for years, there’s something here for everyone and plenty of useful tips.
I love how there are the usual recipes you’d expect to see in a pasta cook book but also unusual ones that I’ve never heard of but will definitely try and find a great change when I’m stuck for what to make for dinner.
A book I will be referring back to for a long time to come.

I am someone who has several solid go-to pasta recipes that I use all throughout the year, but often feel like I often lack dishes that really fit the specific seasons. To suffice to say, "Six Seasons of Pasta" immediately proved to be a delightful eye-opener. Every individual chapter provides several new possibilities (or rather, pasta-bilities) that I never considered before that finally allow me to take advantage of seasonal produce. And on top of this, there's also quite a bit of excellent information on pasta essentials too, allowing me to potentially up my game there. There's nothing not to love about this cookbook.
