I like how quickly the spice comes in. The bantering between characters keeps the book interesting. The storyline is a little predictable, but still a good story. The MMC is so dreamy sounding.

This book had me giggling like a teenager from the first few chapters.
The more I read, the more I enjoyed the book, grinning with every secret the readers and author knew that the characters did not. While the tropes are familiar, the writing is fresh, quite enjoyable.
Can't wait for the rest of the world to read this book as well. It was a perfect read to cap off my othewise stressful week!

This felt like a tale of two halves. The first half was funny, interesting, and full of sexual chemistry between the two main characters. This half had so much potential and could have played out through the remainder of the book, but the second half seemed to drop that plot and move to the one night stand leads to pregnancy trope and focused on the MMC trying to get the FMC to give him a chance. The big secret she was hiding really didn’t get brought up until the very end and it was resolved within a few pages. I liked it overall but was disappointed with the execution.

I wanted to like this one because I'm usually very into billionaire romance genre, but the accidental pregnancy turned me off. I also felt like the characters felt a bit immature at times.

A fun romance! I love a miscommunication trope and this one was hilarious. The depth as they developed real feelings was great to read.

Matt is in New York for a wedding of an ex when he meets Ryan in a bar. Ryan assumes that Matt is her date that she hired as her date for her ex's weeding. After playing the part of a male escort and a hot and steamy night of sex Matt wakes up to an envelope of money and Ryan nowhere to be found. Ten weeks later Ryan is living in London and is meeting potential new clinets for the investment firm that she works at. In walk Matt along with Oliver and Fin his business partners. Now Matt must put on all of his charms to win Ryan for good. This is book three in the My Kind of Hero series and I think the best one yet! I would like to thank both NetGalley and Montlake for letting me read an advanced copy of this book.

Mistaken identity, one night stand, he falls first (and harder). All the makings of a cute romance. The author is wonderful at describing scenes and sprinkling in fun, witty dialogue. I just, personally, thought the plot dragged a little in places. Still a very enjoyable book, and it made me want to go back and read the others in the series that might be more up my alley.

What a rollercoaster! I had such a blast reading this one. It’s sweet, fun, and filled with just the right amount of spice to keep things exciting. The chemistry between the characters was fantastic, and watching them grow from a one night stand into something deeper and lasting was so satisfying. Definitely “From one -night stand to forever.” I loved it!

This story was soooo good. It made me laugh at times, sigh at times and hold my breath when something scary was happening/ Matt and Ryan were perfect for each other. Of course, she thought he was a male escort and he didn't get a chance to tell her before she disappeared after a fantastic and sexy night. I loved how there were sexy parts without allll the detail. There was just enough. There were other characters in the story that were very cute such as his cute niece, Clo. His siblings (and there were alot of them) were all very different from him and it was clear he came from a loving family. Ryan's upbringing was just the opposite and it will break your heart when you hear about it
All and all, this story was very much a winner and I highly recommend it.
I got this book from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review

No Knight is a wonderful end to this series of books by Donna Alam. I absolutely fell in love with Matt. He’s all the good stuff all wrapped up in a gorgeous Spanish speaking package. And Ryan is a prickly little pear, full of vulnerabilities, who needs and deserves the love of a good man, namely Matt. This is a beautiful story of patience, wooing, and seduction. Brought together by Donna Alan’s unique style and beautiful way with words. Plus it has some of my favourite tropes, namely unplanned pregnancy and forced proximity. Highly recommend. And just to say, the cameo appearance by Dr Will Travers from Easy was so appropriate and, as an avid reader of this author, just added an extra little joy to this read.

What an absolute delight! No Knight is everything I could possibly want in a romantic comedy—fun, flirty, and laugh-out-loud hilarious 😆 😍. Donna Alam’s writing sparkles with wit and warmth, making this a true feel-good read from start to finish.
The chemistry between Matt and Ryan is simply electric—every scene with them sizzles with tension, humor, and genuine affection. Their banter had me grinning, and their love story felt both heartwarming and irresistibly entertaining. It’s the kind of romance that sweeps you in and keeps you smiling long after you’ve turned the last page.
If you’re looking for a rom-com that delivers big laughs, engaging characters, and a love story that feels both playful and passionate, then this book is a must-read. Highly recommended!⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Desperate times, indeed, call for desperate measures – and turning up to her cheating ex-boss's wedding alone certainly qualifies. Ryan's solution? Hiring a professional plus-one. What unfolds is anything but professional, and everything delicious.
Ryan believes she's found her perfect companion in the charming, attentive, and protective escort. The immediate gratification, however, comes with a surprising twist. She slips away before morning, only to discover months later that her one-night stand wasn't an escort at all, but Matt – a powerful billionaire investor.
Matt, determined not to let her get away this time, is poised to pursue her. But Ryan isn't just dealing with embarrassment; she has secrets of her own. This touch of mystery surrounding her past adds a compelling layer of intrigue.
Overall, this book is great for fans of romance with a strong, resourceful heroine, and dominant male character who isn't afraid to go after what he wants, and a plot brimming with secrets, second chances, and undeniable heat.

This took me a little while to get into it. To me, the initial meeting drugged on and was somewhat repetitive. I enjoyed the duel POVs, however I felt like we got a lot of Ryan’s and not as much of Matt’s especially towards the end and I would’ve liked to have a bit more from his view. Overall, I enjoyed how their relationship grew and the story ended, however I was hoping for a little more.

Wow! I had no clue what to expect going into to this as I know it's the third book in the series, but I haven't read the others. This was divine! Matt has the "touch her and ☠️" vibes but also such a loving/caring king!! Like yes, please, give me a Matt any day!! 🥵 I love the FMC. She was truly real. It was interesting to see her fierce, girl boss vibe and how her character development throughout the book. I'm obsessed with them together and LOVED this! There were some tense moments, a bit of suspense, and a teary-eyed moment.... though I can't say more as it'd spoil things, but immediately go get this one!
I received this ARC from NetGalley and Montlake to read/review. All of the statements above are my true opinions after fully reading this book.

No Knight was both emotional and funny, blending heartfelt romance with moments of levity. From the start, Matt and Ryan shared a connection neither expected, and while it took a few chapters to fully set the stage, the payoff was worth it.
Matt was an absolute standout. His love for Ryan was unwavering—expressed through consistent actions rather than just words. He showed up for her, fought for her, and encouraged her growth in ways that felt authentic and deeply moving.
Ryan’s character arc was equally satisfying. I appreciated how the author navigated sensitive topics—child abuse, infidelity, and misogyny—with care, weaving them into the story in a way that added emotional depth without overshadowing the romance.
Overall, this is a heartfelt, trope-rich romance with genuine substance, and I highly recommend it to readers who enjoy love stories that balance swoon-worthy moments with meaningful character growth.

While the overall story was cute, I, personally, feel like it was filled with too much extra unnecessary scenes. Things that could have been covered in 2 chapters took 30% of the book. I found myself skipping a ahead alot. While I like the story and was interested in how it would end and wrap up, I feel like it was filled with alot of fluff that added not much value to the overall story like. The FMC and the MMC do have a great connection.

I devoured this book in a day. I laughed so hard at times because the banter between the two of them was off the charts. Ryan has a lot of baggage to work through and Matt is absolutely the man for the job…. Even if he’s originally not meant to be. Their story isn’t easy but it was definitely worth the ride. I enjoyed this couple and this book so much that I definitely plan on looking at the other books in the series. This was my first book by this author but I can tell you it won’t be my last.

I really enjoyed this book it was an easy read which I finished in a day, at times I did feel there was way too much conversation interrupting the flow of the initial hotel scene in New York.
I loved Matt's character and Ryan's feisty one.

This was the first book from Donna Alam and I really enjoyed it. I plan to go back and read the first two in the series.
While I did enjoy the banter, angst, spice I was a little skeptical in the beginning because it felt like there were way too many words setting up the scene.
Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this as an ARC, I will definitely be recommending to my fellow romance readers.

My favourite read in a LONG while!!!!
So well written, I really appreciated not having names being unnecessarily repeated 200 times in each page which I’ve realised is becoming an issue more and more especially within Romance books; instead the writing, story and dialogue in “No Knight” flowed so smoothly from start to finish.
The humour was 10/10 and I haven’t had a book make me laugh and giggle this much, maybe ever ? The spice was hot, the story was great. The chemistry between the main characters was PERFECTION!!
Just going back to the dialogue between characters, this was honestly one of my favourite parts of how the book was written, Donna created realistic communication between the main characters while at the same time adding just enough sparkle for a fictional story.
I could read about these two forever,
Thank you Donna for this book, I had to DNF the book I was reading just before this because the writing made the story so hard to follow and I was a little sad (I really hate not finishing books), but thank goodness I chose to read this right after, because my bad mood is now looonnng gone.
I can’t wait for this to be released so I can put a physical copy on my shelf, and more importantly I can’t wait to see fan art of Ryan and Matt (mostly Matt lol).
I will definitely post this to TT when I’m no longer sick, congested and look like I’m the black Plague’s most recent victim. & im posting this to my bookclub group chat right after I submit it because I know the girls will definitely love it too 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
