I wanted to love this book, but I just didn't. The cover screams fall, cozy vibes... I just couldn't wrap my head around the miscommunication trope. I feel like Zach could've tried harder.
Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!

Thank you, NetGalley, for the opportunity to read this book. It is now one of my favorites.
FIVE STARS!!!!!!!
I loved it. Start to Finish. I want to move to Maple Falls and live in the apple orchard. I want to walk around the lake and stop at all the stores. I want to have my barista know my order and make it for me on the spot. I now want to try witch's brew, apple bourbon butter, and I'd love the recipe for the cinnamon rolls that were brought up and consistently selling out.
"Grab your favourite spiced latte and settle in with this steamy romance, packed with small-town charm, scorching chemistry, and the perfect HEA. If you love Laurie Gilmore, Emily Henry, cozy autumn vibes, and plenty of spice, this is perfect for you!"
True!!!! I am ready for the next book in the series...I want a cookbook of this series now.
Madison and Zach were fire from the start...I loved the tension...the feels and even the hurt and sadness were worth it in the end.

I can't say enough about a small-town coffee addict and food writer who moves to New York. After six years, she gets an anonymous letter telling her to come home to save her family Inn (The Cinnamon Spice Inn). The town of Maple Falls, which is where the ex-everything still lives, Zach and man is he even hotter now... (yes)
Can Madison save her family Inn? Will she find out who sent all these anonymous letters to her and other residents around town? Will she fall back in love with Zach?
This book was just magic. I can't wait for the next in the series.
My first book, written by Harper Graham, is a keeper. I loved it.
Everyone, now read this book.

This was a no for me sadly, I couldn't get into the writing and found myself skimming most of the book just to get to the parts about Madison and Zach. There was way too much page time for basically everyone in town, a chapter would leave off at an important moment and take 2 chapters to prattle on about something else until it got back to the point we left off at. The concept was good but with all the miscellaneous info dumping, I started to get bored with the story and not care as much. Madison kept going back and forth on stay even when she told an entire group of women she was staying (knowing in a small town everyone would know by the end of the day). She finally reunites with Zach and she's back tot he same old back and forth of should I stay? Zach also was a disappointment, he ran away instead of communicating, and with how much free stuff he did for the town, how was he making any money? Overall this just fell flat for me and couldn't hold my interest the way I'd hoped it would.

If you are looking for a cozy, autumn-theme romance story, look no further. The author does a great job describing the feeling of Autumn in a small town. I could feel the crisp autumn air, and smell the cinnamon and vanilla, as I was reading.
The main character comes home to help her father with the family’s Inn after the death of her mother. Based on the description of the Inn and the town of Maple Falls, I would love to stay at the Cinnamon Spice Inn. I would definitely eat some of those cinnamon rolls stuffed with apple butter, and visit the bakery and chocolate shop in town. Sounds like a delicious time.
My favorite character was Gram. What a sassy, spunky lady. She made me smile every time she was on the page.
The romance between Madison and Zach did feel a little superficial to me. It seemed the connection was solely based on their past history and sexual attraction. There was a bit too much miscommunication to make the relationship feel believable for me. But I stuck in there, because the overall story was heartwarming.
I hope that in future visits to Maple Falls, one of main story lines is Kit finding her wife. I was hoping that the introduction of Cassidy was for a love interest for Kit, but I see she is going to be Liam’s love interest in the next book in the series. My request is that Kit deserves her own story!
If you like small town, slow-burn, 2nd chance romances with a cozy Autumn vibe, this book is a good choice. Spice level 2/5 (open door)
I received this book as an ARC. Thank you @netgalley and @bookouture for sending this book for review consideration. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Madison is called back to Maple Falls to help her family save their inn. Zach is helping renovate the inn, will old feelings resurface?

Spice level of this book is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. I love the feeling of fall this book brought, I could definitely feel myself immersed in the spirit of fall: pumpkins, cinnamon, baking, chocolates. I also felt that “small town” feeling while reading this book. The writing was beautiful and I’m looking forward to more books by this author.

I really wanted to love this so much but it just wasn’t for me.
I enjoyed the autumn vibes in this book and a lot of it reminded me of Gilmore girls which I enjoyed and it was a cosy descriptive read
What I didn’t enjoy was the romance aspect of this book and I’m so disappointed because I really wanted to love it. The miscommunication between the main characters was just not for me I felt like it just wasn’t a little big dragged out
Overall a good read if you’re really into small town cosy autumn seasonal romance reads and don’t mind a little miscommunication between the main characters

This was a lovely book with some great autumn descriptions, I loved seeing the inn coming together ready for re launch.
I liked the heart and love between Madison and Zach but the lack of and miscommunication between them really annoyed me, a simple conversation could have saved so much heart ache. Other than that I loved how the community came together to help and the notes asking people to help and support. The ‘anonymous’ writer was very clever, until she got caught. 😂

A super cozy autumnal read. I found this story to be really comforting. You follow Maddison as she figures out how to save the inn owned by her dad and reconnecting with Zach. Highly recommend if you want a cozy romance for autumn.

I have only one thing to say here, and it is this:
This was spectacular, cozy, romantic and gave me PURE JOY. Let it be your next book to read when you need comfort. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for making me blush and giggle during public transportation. Did not regret anything.

🍂 The Cinnamon Spice Inn by Harper Graham
A Tender, Cozy Romance Full of Second Chances and Cinnamon-Spiced Charm
From the very first page, The Cinnamon Spice Inn wraps you in a hug made of warm flannel, falling leaves, and the comforting scent of cinnamon. It’s a story of coming home, facing the past, and rediscovering love in the most unexpected places — all while saving a family treasure in the heart of autumn.
Madison, a food writer living in bustling New York City, is used to fast-paced deadlines, strong coffee, and pushing feelings to the side. But when she receives a call that her family’s inn is in trouble, she reluctantly returns to Maple Falls — a small town filled with memories she’s tried to forget. Chief among them? Zach. Her ex. The boy she once loved… now the man hired to help renovate the very inn she’s trying to save.
Their reunion is anything but smooth. Sparks fly — and not just the romantic kind. There’s banter, bickering, and plenty of tension, but underneath it all, there’s history… and heartache. As Madison and Zach work together to breathe new life into The Cinnamon Spice Inn, they’re also forced to confront the heartbreak that drove them apart — and the lingering feelings that never truly went away.
Harper Graham does a beautiful job bringing the town of Maple Falls to life. The leaves are golden, the coffee shop is bustling with pumpkin lattes and gossip, and every corner of the inn is steeped in nostalgia. The setting feels like its own character — cozy, comforting, and just magical enough to make you believe in second chances.
But what truly makes this book shine is its heart. Madison and Zach’s journey isn’t just romantic — it’s emotional, healing, and full of depth. They’re both flawed, real people who’ve grown and changed, but who still carry pieces of each other. Watching them slowly rebuild trust, rediscover their rhythm, and open up again is deeply satisfying.
And of course — there’s the spice. Not just the cinnamon kind (though there’s plenty of that too), but the romantic tension that simmers between Madison and Zach. Their chemistry is palpable, and the way it develops — slow, tender, and believable — makes the payoff all the sweeter.
💛 Perfect For Readers Who Love:
Small-town autumn settings full of charm and nostalgia
Second-chance romance with real emotional weight
Enemies-to-lovers banter (but soft and meaningful)
Cozy inn renovations and a strong sense of place
Books that feel like fall: warm, nostalgic, and a little bittersweet
🍁 Final Thoughts
The Cinnamon Spice Inn is a beautifully written, heartfelt romance that leaves you with a smile and a craving for cinnamon rolls. It’s about love lost and found again, about coming home to who you really are, and about how sometimes the best chapters of our lives start in the place we least expected to return to.
If you’re in the mood for a story that feels like a soft sweater, a spiced drink, and a walk through golden leaves with someone you used to love… this is the book for you.

I absolutely loved the fall vibes and the small town! It was such a cute and cozy read however I wasn't a fan of the romance side of the book, I'm not a fan of the miscommunication trope and feel like a lot of this could have been resolved with one simple conversation before they even broke up
Honestly I don't think this should have been troped as enemies to lovers, she was fantasizing about him from chapter three and she just didn't stop. All she seemed to do was fantasise over his hands, In general, the amount of time they spent fantasizing about each other was overwhelming. It started to get on my nerves and making me frustrated

Tropes:
🍂 second chance romance
🍂 small town romance
🍂 forced proximity
🍂 mystery letters
🍂 cozy Gilmore girls vibe
Set in Maple Falls, this story is a perfect cozy autumn read that makes time pass by! I enjoyed this plot a lot more than I was expecting and can say that I am excited for the future books set in this town. I got lost in the small town atmosphere and swept up in the novelty of knowing the whole town, and feeling like you’re apart of the community!
The mystery letters were an added bonus to the story and the conclusion was truly heartwarming 🫶🏻 And I LOVED the inclusion of rescue animals - cocoa 🫣
The chemistry between Madison and Liam was fast paced and escalated quickly as they used their past to fuel the connection between them. I loved the second chance romance between them but did find the miscommunication quite repetitive as it quickly resolved between each chapter. The story itself is written with short chapters to engage all audiences as the plot in my opinion is quite fast paced.
This book made me feel like making a hot chocolate and eating a cinnamon bun 💌
Thank you to @netgalley and @bookouture for this eArc! And wish @harpergrahambooks the best for release day - I can’t wait to get my hands on the physical copy on the 28th August 🍁

A must read for romance lovers and a must read for this fall! Cozy, small town, second chance romance full of characters you love and everything that makes fall the best season! Highly recommend!

If autumn were a feeling, The Cinnamon Spice Inn would be it. Harper Graham’s cozy romance is the literary equivalent of a warm blanket, a spiced latte, and a second chance at love—all wrapped up in a charming small-town setting.
🏡 Plot Overview
Madison, a sharp-tongued food writer from New York City, returns to her hometown of Maple Falls to help save her family’s struggling inn. What she doesn’t expect? Running into Zach, her high school ex turned rugged handyman. Sparks fly, tempers flare, and the inn’s Halloween relaunch becomes the backdrop for a delicious enemies-to-lovers romance.
💞 What Works
Atmosphere: Graham paints Maple Falls with rich autumnal hues—crunching leaves, cinnamon-scented air, and cozy corners that make you want to move in.
Chemistry: Madison and Zach’s banter is spicy and sweet, with just the right amount of tension to keep you hooked.
Tropes Done Right: Enemies to lovers, forced proximity, and small-town charm are all here, but with enough emotional depth to avoid cliché.
🤔 Minor Quibbles
The pacing at the beginning may feel a bit rushed, and Madison’s indecisiveness can be frustrating—but it’s also what makes her feel real.
🎃 Final Thoughts
This is the kind of book you read with fuzzy socks on and a pumpkin candle burning. If you’re a fan of Emily Henry, Gilmore Girls, or anything that screams “fall romance,” The Cinnamon Spice Inn is a must-read. It’s the first in the Maple Falls series, and if this debut is any indication, Harper Graham has a cozy hit on her hands.

The Cinnamon Spice Inn was so beautifully written! It was the perfect read to begin my fall book binge! Thank you to the publisher and author for letting me read this work of art early! It will most definitely be making an appearance on the books I recommend this fall.

If you’re craving a story with small-town charm and fall vibes then The Cinnamon Spice Inn delivers on the seasonal vibes. Madison returns to Maple Falls to help renovate her family’s inn. The setting felt like stepping into a Hallmark movie and the inn renovation plot was sweet.
Where it lost me was the romance between Madison and her ex, Zach. The miscommunication between them dragged on far too long, and I kept wishing they’d just sit down and talk things through. Instead, the same misunderstanding kept popping back up, which made the resolution feel less satisfying. I also wanted more emotional depth between them to really sell the “second chance” aspect.
Still, it’s a light, cozy read perfect for a fall afternoon, especially if you don’t mind a romance that leans heavily on setting over intense chemistry. If you love fall decor and want a cozy read, this is decent.

The Cinnamon Spice Inn is a heartfelt, seasonal romance that pulls you into the book with its autumnal charm. A small town vibe that captivates with its cozy second-chance love story. it reminded me a bit of the Gilmore Girls! Feel good romance that's not intense. Just the right kind of book to get you in the autumnal mood with a sprinkle of Cinnamon Spice. Loved it!

Rating: 2.5⭐
This is a good cosy romance to pick up in the fall. 🍁🎃 Especially for people that like:
▪️Miscommunication (big part of the book)
▪️Small town romance
▪️Ex lovers
▪️Found Family
I really enjoyed the book, the characters, the small-town setting, and the found family element. 🍂The BIG thing 'ruined' the book for me was the ‘miscommunication’ trope. I understood the misunderstanding itself, but what frustrated me was how easily it could have been resolved if the characters had just talked it out right after discovering it. In other words: they should have just talked! And then they just went back and forwards with the same issue😵💫
Aside from that, I t enjoyed the story line and the small town setting , and I’m crossing my fingers🤞 we’ll get books about some of the side character, which I have a feeling will be better 😅
Thank you NetGalley, the author and the publishers for the arc of this book❤️

Absolutely loved this, it was so cosy! The food elements were amazing, it made my mouth water every time the cosy food was mentioned. The hint of mystery with the letters made the plot interesting and Madison’s inner turmoil was a perfect addition. The small town vibes were immaculate and the spice and romance between Zack and Madison was just perfect. This is the perfect cosy romance for autumn!
