Such a cozy book! I loved that it was set in a small town, it was such a good read. The FMC and MMC are the cutest and I love the mystery around how she ended back in her home town 🤍 Thank you Netgally for the ARC!

The Cinnamon Spice Inn had everything I love: cozy small-town charm, pumpkins on porches, crisp autumn air, and a family inn at the heart of the story. The fall vibes were chef’s kiss and had me ready to dig out my sweaters and sip cider. I especially loved that the cows were named Pumpkin and Spice. The side characters, especially Liam and Kit, had potential, and I honestly would not mind reading a spin-off about them.

Unfortunately, the romance was a big miss for me. This was billed as “enemies to lovers” but by chapter three she was already fantasizing about him and it never stopped. The constant pining made the “enemies” part feel nonexistent. The miscommunication was exhausting. The reason they broke up years ago could have been cleared up in under a minute, but instead it became the foundation of their entire conflict. They would reunite, avoid saying what needed to be said, then storm off, only for it to magically resolve like nothing happened. This repeated again and again. It made it hard to root for them, and honestly, I was quietly hoping they would just break up for good.

The writing leaned heavily on telling rather than showing, with long descriptions that did not add much and too many inner monologues. On top of that, the author often ended chapters with questions, which pulled me out of the story instead of keeping me hooked. Madison’s behavior made her hard to like, Zach forgave too easily, and their relationship never felt like it had a solid emotional foundation. It relied mostly on physical attraction and nostalgia.

While this one was not for me, I did enjoy the autumn setting and small-town details. If you are looking for something light, cozy, and full of fall atmosphere, and you do not mind a heavy dose of miscommunication, you might still enjoy it. I will be holding out hope that Liam’s story delivers the cozy romance I was looking for here.

This was the perfect hallmark book read! Put me right in the fall mood with its perfect descriptions! Seeing how Zack and Maddison fought for each other in the end and their love won was straight out of a movie! Would recommend for the perfect read to get into the fall spirit!

Thank you so much for this ARC!

This book served all the fall vibes and cozy feels. It was comforting like a mug of warm apple cider. This is a second chance, small-town romance story where the FMC returns to her hometown to help renovate her family's inn. She reunites with her former love. The story felt slightly hampered by a writing style that leaned heavily on telling rather than showing. It was a sweet, low-stakes romance but the miscommunication trope felt a bit overused. That made the FMC a bit frustrating and unlikable. But overall, this book was a quick and easy read.

This was… cute. The literary equivalent of a Hallmark movie — predictable, sappy, but still enjoyable enough to keep me turning pages.

Mads is the classic small-town girl who moved to the big city, only to return home to help renovate her family’s inn. Zach is the boy-next-door and her first love, still hopelessly pining for her all these years later.

You can see exactly where the plot is headed from page one — and that’s fine if you’re in the mood for cozy, low-stakes romance. It was sweet, but not quite enough to pull me into the rest of the series.

This book was the perfect cozy, Hallmark feel, fall read. It’s got everything. A small town girl who’s moved to the big city but makes a visit after she receives an anonymous letter that her dad and their family owned inn need help. So a touch of lighthearted mystery as she tries to find out who sent her the letter. The story unfolds with warm nostalgia of her childhood home & friends. It’s also got childhood friends to lovers to enemies to lovers again when they rekindle their relationship. That said, there’s quite a bit of miscommunication plot which can be a hit or miss for some. But if you’re a fan of romance, fall vibes, cozy blankets, small towns, and pumpkin spice lattes, then this is the book for you!

Small town, Maple Falls, gave me all the cozy fall vibes. Like a picture perfect Hallmark movie that contains the cutest names for all the local shops, fall themed activities, nosy town folk, fresh cinnamon rolls, pumpkins and apple spice lattes. It’s a fluffy warm blanket by the fire but in a book.

A slow burn, second chance romance that completely and utterly infuriated me in the best way. Madison and Zack are soul mates ever since they were little but the lack of communication that separated them and kept them apart had me screaming. For two people who love each other more than anything else, you’d think they’d be able to talk to each other better. Ugh. I wanted to slap them 😂 but their steamy chemistry made up for the frustration.

This suspense part of the book was an added element and when you find out the source behind Madison coming home, ugh it shattered my poor heart. 😭

If you want a book to get you in the mood for cooler cozy days, falling leaves, pumpkin spice season with Gilmore Girls vibes, this one could be for you.

Thank you @netgalley and @indyvalentineauthor for the advanced copy read.

The Cinnamon Spice Inn had a cozy setting and some sweet moments that fans of small-town romances might enjoy. The writing itself is clear and easy to follow, and the premise had potential.
That said, I struggled to stay engaged. The story felt repetitive at times, and the lack of communication between the characters was frustrating. It leaned heavily into familiar tropes without offering anything new, which made it feel like I had read (or watched) this exact story before. I wanted more originality and emotional depth to really connect with the characters.
Overall, while there were a few comforting elements, it just didn’t work for me personally.

A nice, cozy romance. I liked the fall vibes. But I never screamed at the characters or wanted to throw the book. There was no emotional damage. It wasn't a book I couldn't put down but it was a nice, breezy palette cleanser.

There’s so much I could say about how this book just didn’t work for me. There were lots of details that don’t match up throughout and it honestly all came down to the writing.

The fmc and mmc entire connection is based off of when they were kids and in their 20’s but we don’t get a true timeline, nor do we get any emotional chemistry building in present day. Everything about their relationship we had to take the author and towns peoples word for it because the writing gave us nothhhhhing but some physical chemistry (that was again, driven by the past).

The only character I liked in this entire book was the mmc, Zach. This book had so many silly ass miscommunication moments that by the time she chose to ghost him AGAIN towards the end I was just absolutly done with the fmc. I started skimming around 75%. Truthfully the best part of the book was when Zach tells off Madison in chapter 53 🙊🥰

I am going to be honest. I stopped reading at chapter 8. Maybe if I had gone further, but I just couldn’t. It felt like I was reading a copy cat of the pumpkin spice cafe by Laurie Gilmore. From the map in the front of the book, to the pumpkin fest in the town, and even two cows called pumpkin and spice. It really pulled away from what I imagine could be a lovely cosy read. I also found it frustrating when there was things being described as happening, but then no mention of them after. For example Madison slipped on a polished floor in her socks, with a cup of coffee in her hand, and she didn’t spill a drop! She was caught, and then went straight back to sipping her coffee from her mug. It’s little things like this, that for me personally brought it down.

🎃🍂THE PERFECT COSY FALL READ🍂🎃
This book is the definition of of cosy! It follows Madison who has come back from New York to her childhood town of Maple Falls after receiving an anonymous letter that her family’s inn in needs some TLC!
However Madison’s ex boyfriend Zach still resides in Maple Falls. The pair haven’t spoken in 6 years since Madison left for New York. Will sparks fly again between Madison and Zach?

This felt like a warm drink in a book format, I read this in 2 days and I couldn’t wait to get home and get back to reading it! There was the perfect amount of spice / plot / scene setting for an all round easy read and I cannot WAIT for the second one to be released!

This book has big time cozy fall vibes. It is a cutesy romance book. The main characters struggle with communication and that is kind of the premise of this book, start to finish. It lacks some depth but it is an easy, fast, cozy read if you just want to sit back and relax.

I don’t often read romance, but this one was exactly what I was craving — warm, cozy, and just a little bit spicy, the perfect fall escape.

Kit was my absolute favorite. Her love for cooking and baking (especially those cinnamon rolls!) leapt off the page, and I adored how unapologetically herself she was. The casual, positive LGBTQ representation was another highlight, adding depth and authenticity without feeling forced.

If anything, I found myself wishing Kit had her own romance — perhaps with the mayor’s niece? That would have been a sweet surprise!

Heartwarming, flavorful, and charming from start to finish — a story that leaves you feeling hugged

If you're looking for a small town, second chance romance with a hint of mystery that will leave you craving a cinnamon bun and a cozy fall day, this is the book for you! This entire book had me wishing I had an apple spice latte in hand and a sexy contractor to banter with! The atmosphere was warm and cozy, the characters were all perfect for their roles in the book and made me hope there's a book for each and everyone in this small Midwestern town! I love absolutely everything about this book and will absolutely be recommending this book to everyone who's looking for the perfect fall read!

Honestly, the Cinnamon Spice Inn is the kind of book I needed to get into the season. There’s so much stuff going on right now that this was a breath of fresh air and more.

While I will say it suffers from the fact that the ending DOES feel a little rushed, it’s such a sweet second chance love story that I can’t even be that bothered by it. It’s warm and cozy and definitely made me want to make cinnamon rolls way more than I should right now.

Zach and Madison were sweet, and I hope to read more about them in the future books of this franchise!

Review for: The Cinnamon Spiced Inn by Harper Graham

I was really drawn in by the cozy setting and charming small-town vibes — The Cinnamon Spiced Inn had all the ingredients of a comforting, heartwarming read. The descriptions of the inn, the cinnamon-scented air, and the festive touches made for a lovely atmosphere, especially for fans of seasonal or feel-good romances.

That said, while the aesthetic was warm and inviting, the plot and characters didn’t fully land for me. The pacing felt uneven at times, and I struggled to fully connect with the romance or feel deeply invested in the character arcs. It wasn’t a bad book by any means — just one that didn’t resonate enough for me to want to revisit or recommend enthusiastically.

A pleasant enough read, but not one I’ll return to.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review

This was a sweet romance book I really liked reading it. Love how everyone was helping the family out with things that need help with. The feeling between the MFC & the MMC we’re really sweet even way the end when things started to get rough for them.

Book: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Plot: 💫💫💫💫💫
World-Building: 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁
Description: 💐💐💐💐

I liked this book it has strong autumnal vibes and a really cozy feel I got immersed into the world of Maple Falls. The romance between the two MC was cute although quite spicy at times and as the story progressed you can definitely tell there is going to be a lot more to the series.

My only critique is that the ending felt sort of rushed with the MC (Madison) making her final decision which left me feeling a bit confused.

I’m excited to continue this series. I would recommend to people who want a cozy autumnal romance with a bit of spice and a engaging world.
