This was a sweet romance book I really liked reading it. Love how everyone was helping the family out with things that need help with. The feeling between the MFC & the MMC we’re really sweet even way the end when things started to get rough for them.

Book: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Plot: 💫💫💫💫💫
World-Building: 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁
Description: 💐💐💐💐

I liked this book it has strong autumnal vibes and a really cozy feel I got immersed into the world of Maple Falls. The romance between the two MC was cute although quite spicy at times and as the story progressed you can definitely tell there is going to be a lot more to the series.

My only critique is that the ending felt sort of rushed with the MC (Madison) making her final decision which left me feeling a bit confused.

I’m excited to continue this series. I would recommend to people who want a cozy autumnal romance with a bit of spice and a engaging world.

**I received this book as an ARC thanks to NetGalley and Harper Graham for this! This had no impact on my review**

Review:
The Cinnamon Spice Inn is the kind of story that makes you want to pack your bags, head to a tiny town during fall, and believe in second chances again. A cozy, heartfelt romance with Gilmore Girls energy, a touch of mystery, and enough cinnamon spice to warm you through and through.

When Madison receives a mysterious letter in her New York City apartment asking her to come home and help save the Cinnamon Spice Inn, she’s stunned—and a little skeptical. But something about it pulls her back to the town she left behind… and straight into the path of her broody ex-boyfriend, now the contractor hired to restore the inn.

They haven’t spoken in six years—not since a misunderstanding tore them apart. And now they’re stuck working together, trying to save the inn before it’s lost for good, all while prepping for the town’s fall festival and dodging the feelings neither of them ever really buried.

As more anonymous letters surface—sent to townspeople urging them to help—the mystery deepens, revealing old secrets, new beginnings, and a community coming together in the sweetest way.

This story is full of cozy fall vibes:
🍂 Pumpkin patches, flannel, and cinnamon rolls
🎃 A fall festival complete with pie contests and hayrides
💌 Whispered secrets through heartfelt letters
🛠️ Tension-filled renovation scenes (with spice!)
💔 A second-chance romance that heals slowly, beautifully

Read this if you love:
✨ Gilmore Girls meets Sweet Magnolias
🔥 Second chances + forced proximity
💌 Small-town mysteries with heart
🎃 Cozy fall settings + community magic
🏡 The “save the inn” trope but make it spicy

Warm, whimsical, and surprisingly emotional, The Cinnamon Spice Inn gave me all the feels. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this cozy little escape—I didn’t want to leave.

I fell in love with maple falls and the characters of this small town within the first chapter, and devoured the book in a day.

A perfect second chance romance for fans of Laurie Gilmore.

Plenty of sugar, spice, and immaculate fall vibes reminiscent of Stars Hollow, this book was like being wrapped in a heated blanket and served a steaming cup of apple cider on a rainy day.

Sheer perfection. I can’t wait for the next chapter and to go back to Maple Falls.

The Cinnamon Spice Inn is exactly what it promises to be—fun, flirty, and sizzling full of romantic tension! Let’s be honest – this is basically a spicy Hallmark book, all wrapped up in a cosy autumn setting. If you’re a fan of The Pumpkin Spice Café or anything with small-town charm, this is one to add to your autumn TBR.

Madison is a city girl with a caffeine addiction and something to prove when she returns to Maple Falls to help save her family’s inn. But of course, she immediately runs into Zach—her childhood sweetheart, now a maddeningly attractive handyman. Cue the tension, the bickering, the lingering glances… and yes, the spice. These two are clearly not over each other, and watching them try (and fail) to stay distant makes for a very entertaining ride.

Tropes galore here in the best way:
☕ Second-chance romance
🛠️ Childhood sweethearts
🏡 Forced proximity
🍁 Small-town vs. city girl energy

Harper Graham leans into the rom-com vibes with playful banter, a cinnamon-sweet setting, and plenty of steam. It’s definitely one for adult readers—the chemistry between Madison and Zach is off the charts, and while the cover might suggest cosy PG fluff, the content is full-on spice.

My only quibble is that I would’ve liked just a little more emotional layering beneath the heat. There were moments where I wanted a deeper dive into their shared past or inner worlds. But overall, this was a deliciously fun read that did exactly what it set out to do: deliver romance, autumn vibes, and a whole lot of tension.

Perfect for fans of Laurie Gilmore or Emily Henry looking for a steamy seasonal romance to curl up with on a chilly evening. Just maybe don’t read it in public—things get heated fast!

I could smell the spice and cinnamon as I was reading this warm and cozy book. Full of love and warmth and lots of fuzziness this really was a pleasure to read. Will they or won't they ran through this book and I loved the tension between the two main characters. It made me think of autumn which is just around the corner. My thanks to netgalley and the publisher's for giving me the opportunity to read this book in return for an honest review.

The Cinnamon Spice Inn has a sweet premise that initially drew me in. I enjoyed the vivid descriptions of the setting; however, I struggled with the pacing and found the narrative too repetitive, particularly around one character’s past actions. I also would have liked to see deeper character interactions to help bring the story to life. While this one didn’t work for me personally, I can see it appealing to readers who enjoy slower-paced, setting-rich stories. Didn’t finish at 33%. Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you so much NetGalley and Bookouture for giving me the chance to read this as an ARC.

The Cinnamon Spice inn promised cozy autumn vibes, and it certainly delivered on that. At times I felt like I could almost smell the decadent spices emanating from my screen to my nose.

I thoroughly enjoyed feeling immersed with small town vibes and lovable characters. Harper’s attention to detail with her descriptions made it easy to visualise what was going on.

If you’re looking for a fall romance with a miscommunication trope then this is the perfect book for you. While this trope isn’t a personal favourite of mine it didn’t detract from the plot in the slightest. Following the story of Madison and Zach had everything you could want from a fall romance and I can't wait for future releases.

This had me transported to fall time. The descriptive writing was perfect. I wanted to curl up in my huge sweater and break out my pumpkin spice creamer!

I found both Madison and Zach so frustrating, I wanted to yell at them both 😂 COMMUNICATION PLEASE!

Thank you Netgalley and Harper Graham for this E-ARC.
The romance between Zach and Madison was so frustrating. I am not a fan of a miscommunication trope because it makes me want to yell at the MC. The food mentioned in the story just took me right to fall and had me craving all the delicious items mentioned. The story had all the fall vibes throughout and got me excited for the upcoming season.

A comfortable read. Fall vibes. Fun characters. The setting is perfect for fall. The challenges both lead characters face are thoughtful and well crafted to suit their combined growth.

Thank you Bookouture and NetGalley for this ARC! All words and thoughts are my own.

Calling all fall-loving, sweater wearing, pumpkin spice latte drinking girlies! This book was like a warm hug and a cozy night snuggled up by the fireplace all in one.

I loved learning about the town of Maple Falls and all of the lovely characters in it. This story had it all: family, duty, fighting your fears, romance, gossipy old ladies, and all sorts of yummy fall treats. I also loved that this book had a hint of mystery. That was a fun twist!

I loved reading about Madison and Zach’s story and seeing their journey to love. Excited to read Harper Graham’s next book!

3.5 stars rounded up to 4

Okay, first of all: I need to find out how to make apple butter. Immediately.

That being said: this book has some lovely things going for it, but also a few elements that didn’t quite vibe with me.

Let’s start with the trope: it’s marketed as enemies to lovers, but that is a huge stretch. Zach and Madison aren’t enemies at all. They just have unresolved stuff going on after their break up, but the sparks are still flying when they see each other again.

Also, miscommunication. So much miscommunication. It felt like most of the tension came from things that could’ve been cleared up with one honest conversation. After a while, it started feeling less romantic and more immature.

Now, for the good stuff: this book absolutely nails the small town charm. Think Gilmore Girls: tight-knit community, cozy settings, and lovable side characters. That’s where the book really shines. The ending was perfectly satisfying. I closed it feeling warm, fuzzy, and kinda like I needed to visit a local fall fair.

I would recommend this to everyone who wants a cozy fall read, and who does not mind the miscommunication trope.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for the ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. This book was definitely giving the energy of a hallmark movie where a small town girl moves to the big city only to receive an anonymous letter asking that she return. If you enjoy that type of story, you’ll probably enjoy this! I think the characters could have been fleshed out more so they felt complex but for the purpose of the story I think it was fine. One con for me was the consistent miscommunication between the main characters…just ASK each other, stop assuming everything.
I really loved the atmosphere and believe this will be a fun fall read at a cafe with a latte and cinnamon bun.

This is a second chance small town romance with a miscommunication trope. It is a debut novel written by Harper Graham and is book 1 of the Maple Falls series. It is a cozy romance with some spice. I loved the fall setting and it's lead up to Halloween. I was irritated by Madison and Zach's miscommunication, which caused unnecessary heartache for them both. This book will release on 08/27/2025 and is 344 pages total. I would recommend this book for a cozy fall vibe. I am grateful that I was given the chance to read this one NetGalley and I look forward to the rest of the series.

It's August 6 and I have already decorated my house for fall and I blame this book haha. I wish I could live or at least visit this town in real life because I fell in love with it. I loved the characters and story and this book was just the best escape for this super humid August. Thank you for letting me read this title - it did not disappoint!

Thank you so much to Bookouture, Harper Graham, and Netgalley for providing me with an early e-arc of this book in exchange for an honest review!!

If you are looking for a super cozy read this autumn season, this might just be the book for you!

If I am being completely honest, second-chance romances are typically not my favorite to read; I really love seeing the process of the characters falling in love rather than already having that established relationship. So while the trope is not my favorite, I still had such a fun time with this book.

I believe the most amazing part of this book was Harper Graham's ability to describe everything. Whenever the characters would be getting coffee, I could almost taste the apple, vanilla, and cinnamon incorporated in the lattes. I could picture the pumpkins, hay, flowers, and corn decorated the entire town. I could truly feel like I was a resident in Maple Falls.

While I enjoyed the bantering dynamic between Madison and Zach, I did struggle slightly with the miscommunication between the two. A lot of the difficulties they had in their relationship could be solved with a simple conversation early on rather than letting the hurt stew for years upon years. I also felt that there was a bit of repetition especially with the main characters thinking back on their pasts. There was a lot of Madison remembering what happened in the honeymoon cabin that felt unnecessary after the first two call backs.

Overall I think this was such a fun autumnal read!! I also loved the slight bit of foreshadowing we got to future books and future relationships to come. I cannot wait for those books to come out and be back in the small cozy little town of Maple Falls!

4/5 stars!!
