Thank you to NetGalley for the free copy in exchange for an honest review!
This was such a cozy, comforting fall read. Right from the start, I loved the attention to detail, especially the included map and playlist! Both added such a charming touch and helped bring the setting to life. The town gave me strong Lovelight Farms x Gilmore Girls vibes, and I was immediately hooked by the small-town charm.
The setting is beautifully described. The crisp fall air, the seasonal foods, and the cozy inn! It all felt vivid and immersive. I especially enjoyed the scenes outside of the main romance, like the local festival or wreath-making with side characters. These moments made the story feel full and rich with community.
The romance between Maddie and Zach was sweet, and I was curious to see how their relationship would unfold. While the spicy scenes weren’t really for me, I chose to skip over them and still felt like I could follow the story just fine, they didn’t take away from my enjoyment.
One of my favorite elements was Madison’s growing relationships with the townspeople. Watching those connections develop added so much heart to the story. The letter subplot was another standout. I was completely invested and loved how it came back around. The plotline around saving the inn was a perfect cozy anchor, and I appreciated how everything wrapped up so satisfyingly in the end.
Short chapters made it super easy to fly through. One of those books that’s just fun to sink into. If you’re in the mood for something fall-y and sweet with all the small-town charm, this one’s worth picking up. I really liked it!

I was so excited to pick up The Cinnamon Spice Inn by Harper Graham. The book surprised me by jumping in to the spice right away. The story was cute (I love an hallmark romance!) and quick read, but was a bit less focused on fall than I had initially anticipated. However, I would absolutely be a guest in Maple Falls at the Cinnamon Spice Inn. I can’t wait to read the next addition to this series.
Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for an advance copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

I wanted to love this book, underneath the miscommunication trope the story of the Inn and the town is so cozy and sweet. Madison and Zach are just, not it, though. They hated each other for this years long double miscommunication for half the book because as he said “we don’t talk” (but were in a years long relationship?), then there was a third act breakup that was just swept under the rug. They were so immature it was painful. Maybe Cassidy and Liam’s story will lol be better.

The Cinnamon Spice Inn completely exceeded my expectations. I’m usually not a huge fan of second chance romance but this book made me rethink everything I thought I did not enjoy about the trope.
The characters felt so layered and real and the emotional depth was stunning. From the slow build to the heartbreak to the moments of healing everything came together so beautifully. The setting was cozy and warm in all the right ways and the banter brought just the right amount of lightness.
By the end I was a complete mess in the best way possible. The writing is tender heartfelt and quietly powerful. I can’t wait to read more from this series.
A strong five stars from me. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for what comes next.

I received a free copy of, The Cinnamon Spice Inn, by Harper Graham, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This is book one, in the Maple Falls, series. Madison Kelly is leaving New York City, to go back home to Maple Falls. I thought this was a nice read, I just prefer romance books that are less, instead of more. The Cinnamon Spice Inn, seems like it would be a lovely place at the holidays.

The Cinnamon Spice Inn is the kind of book that feels like autumn in a cup—comforting, a little fiery, and impossible to put down. Harper Graham’s debut in the Maple Falls series blends classic romance tropes with fresh, witty storytelling, creating a tale that’s both familiar and refreshingly fun.
Madison, a coffee-loving food writer from New York, returns to her hometown to save her family’s inn—only to find herself face-to-face with Zach, the ex she never quite got over. He’s now a rugged handyman with hazel eyes and a knack for getting under her skin. Their chemistry is undeniable, and Graham leans into the tension with playful banter and emotional depth that makes their journey from enemies to lovers feel earned and satisfying.
The setting of Maple Falls is a character in itself—charming, festive, and brimming with autumnal magic. From pumpkin patches to Halloween preparations, the atmosphere is rich and immersive, perfect for readers who crave seasonal coziness.
What makes this story shine is its heart. Beneath the spice and sparks is a story about second chances—at love, at home, and at rediscovering who you are. Madison and Zach’s romance is layered with history, vulnerability, and hope, making their reunion all the more rewarding.
If you’re a fan of Emily Henry, Gilmore Girls vibes, and stories that make you laugh, swoon, and crave a cinnamon latte, this one’s for you. I'm looking forward to the next book in the Maple Falls series.
With thanks to Harper Graham, NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

“As soon as he stepped inside, he smelled her. Apples and ginger. A sweet and spicy scent that made his pulse race and his blood rush.”
This book felt like coming home. I come from a small town where everyone goes all out for Autumn and Fall and this book made my heart ache to experience it. I could see myself at Liam’s Pumpkinfest picking out the perfect pumpkin to carve. Zach’s apple butter would be a staple in my autumn diet. I would run downtown to grab a giant pumpkin cookie from the Pumpkin Pie Bakery followed by a coffee from Anita’s. This book truly did an amazing job depicting Autumnal coziness without being boring. Sometimes cozy books are “too” cozy and don’t have a lot going on besides the atmosphere, but Graham mixes the perfect potion of romance, suspense, and conflict within this cozy novel to make it so devourable. Truly, I read this in two sittings (which rarely happens anymore).
The characters themselves were so effectively motivated. Madison would do anything to save not only her family’s inn, but her ancestral home. This inn is everything to her and we can see just truly how heartbroken she is when she sees the state of the inn at the beginning. Zach just wants a small life; his farm, his apples, and to help those around him. But the one thing he wants more than anything else is Madison. They’ve both been hurt by each other and through this book find their way back to love.
One thing I truly adored about this book was the scenic descriptions and atmosphere. From a picnic in an apple orchard to a skeleton barista carrying a pumpkin spice latte, this book did Autumn RIGHT.
“Downtown Maple Falls had fully embraced Halloween. Shop windows were strung with orange twinkle lights and faux cobwebs, and plastic bats fluttered on thin wires whenever the breeze picked up. A skeleton dressed as a barista leaned against the café’s door with a tiny pumpkin spiced latte in its bony hand.”
“The Pumpkinfest wasn’t just about a celebration of fall with pumpkin spiced lattes and scarecrow contests, although there were plenty of those. No, it was a celebration of Maple Falls itself, where people from far and wide came together to shop, eat, and take in the magic of the town.”
I am SO eagerly awaiting the Christmastime sequel, The Spiced Cocoa Cafe! I have fallen in love with Maple Falls and would consume any and all content set here, even Madison’s Cinnamon Spice Inn Cookbook.
Forever grateful to the publishing team Bookouture for providing me a free e-ARC in exchange for a review. I’ll be posting about this on my TikTok and Youtube once the first leaf falls.

Thank you for this ARC!
The Cinnamon Spice Inn definitely had all the fall feels. I could imagine what the inn was like before it started going downhill, could smell the cinnamon buns, imagine walking around the lake.
Overall I liked the characters. Every one of them was quirky, which I loved! However, Madison and Zach seemed really immature. They were cute but just….meh. I also wondered why her dad seemed like a total airhead.
A good read for sure for a day when you just need a comforting escape

Reading this book is like stepping into the world of Gilmore girls. It gives you this small town charm vibe and you really fall in love with the scenery. It is described so well that you want to get yourself some hot chocolate/coffee and start carving pumpkins.
It is a second chance romance of two teenage lovers who had to split up because of A LOT of miscommunication, nevertheless you really root for them and desperatly hope that they make it in the end.
Further there are also some really amazing and lovable side characters that I would love to see in sequels. I am talking Liam and Kit for the most part.
It is an absolute recommendation from me, a five star read definitely. Before you start reading get yourself a hot chocolate/coffee and a cookie and dive in.

This is the perfect autumn book and no one can change my mind.
it gives the feeling of sitting in front of the fireplace with a cup of your favorite coffee.

I appreciate the opportunity to read this title, but unfortunately it didn’t quite capture my interest. While the premise was promising, I found it difficult to stay engaged. That said, I’m sure it will find its audience with readers who connect more strongly with the writing style or pacing.

This book is a like a warm hug.. it just makes you feel good! This story finds the main characters at a second chance of love. I really enjoyed this story and was surprised at the level of spice. It’s a cute and cozy story, perfect for the upcoming fall season. I can’t wait for the next book in this series!

This has fast become one of my favourite books…ever!!!!
I have the biggest smile on my face right now because of the joy this book has brought me!
These characters I absolutely adored, I will always hold them close in my heart and never forget them they are honestly so special.
Such a beautiful,,warm read. With all the fall/halloween cosy vibes we know and love.
The food/drinks in this I literally was salivating.
The inn sounded so perfect and I would give anything to visit it.
I need more from this author asap!!!!
I will be recommending this book to everyone!!!

Wow this book is spicy from the start. I can see it coming to Netflix, I would say Hallmark but a lot of sexy dreams and fantasy come true in this one. Madison Kelly has lived out her dreams in New York as a food critic and now has come back home in Maple Falls to her families business Cinnamon Spice Inn. Madison’s father is not coping well with the loss of his wife or keeping the Inn a float. Madison receives a cryptic mysterious letter telling her she needs to come home and help save the Inn. She does it without question. However, that means facing her past first love, Zach. Will Madison be able to help her dad, the community and reignite the first love once again? You will have to read it to find out but it is so good and spicy you won’t want to miss this one!

Firstly I want to say thank you to @harpergraham @bookouture @netgalley for accepting my request for this ARC as it is my first one!
On to the book.. as an avid Gilmore Girls watcher ever Autumn and lover of Cozy vibes I absolutely ADORED this book.
The characters, the town, the businesses, the food! It all had me dreaming of looking into getting a visa to move to a small cozy town in America.
The miscommunication trope was just right for me, it was enough to make me groan and root for the two main characters to sort it out without leaving me to the point of wanting to put the book down out of frustration.
I cannot wait for the next book to be available and revisit Maple Falls

This book, was an absolutely favourite of mine! Really cozy, autumnal vibes. Exactly what I was looking for, like the gorgeous hallmark type movies in book form. Cannot wait for the rest that will follow in this series! Really romantic and I was rooting for Maddie the whole way through .

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me early access to the book in exchange for a honest review.
3 stars
I really wanted to like this book, but the over-the-top miscommunication drove me crazy. I absolutely loved the vibes of the book and it made me feel like I was in a cozy town. However Madison and Zach barely talk through anything. They just jump into bed and expect everything to work out. After years of unresolved issues, the ending felt way too sudden and unrealistic.
I gave it three stars because I finished it, and I know the miscommunication trope just isn’t for me. I also found it hard to connect with the characters and i’m not sure if it was just personally or if the third person stopped me from really understanding them. I did enjoy the side characters and the small-town feel of Maple Falls. I just don’t think Madison and Zach would last without serious therapy.

While the vibes of this one are on point, the miscommunication throughout the book pretty much ruined it for me. If you like drama & adults who don't have adult conversations, then maybe this one will work for you. I just found myself frustrated throughout the entire thing.
What you get:
🍂 second chance
🍂 forced proximity
🍂 opposites attract
🍂 small town

Thank you NetGalley for the E-arc in exchange for an honest review
This is such a perfect book for Autumn, from start to finish the book had all most cozy Autumnal vibes from the food to the setting. However I did feel myself getting fed up with the amount of miscommunication between Madison and Zach, it was constant throughout the book.

Trade Maple Falls for Dream Harbor and you’ve pretty much got another book of the Dream Harbor series. This book is super cozy and cute. Set in the Midwest in autumn, Maddie comes home to help her dad take care of the inn, which is fallen in disrepair since her mom’s death. What she didn’t bargain for is a second chance with the love of her life.
