The vibes were everything. I love Fall books that just put me straight into pumpkins, leaves & lattes. I did find it hard to keep liking Madison for some reason lol! There was a lot of miscommunication and a lot of physical attraction on both ends, but I feel it fell short on a true connection. I wanted to root for them but i was screaming at them to SAY WHAT THEY FELT!!!! Overall, this gave cute small town, cozy romance!

This was a sweet and fun read.
If you’re a lover of second chance romance, small towns, and fall… this is for you!
I will definitely be back for more Maple Falls!

Maple Falls is a new cozy town for fans of the Pumpkin Spice Cafe, the Gilmore Girls, and all things Hallmark! With plenty of characters to root for (I'm partial to florist Zoe, but the name has me biased) and even a few top dogs (never enough dogs in sweaters). Although a few of the plot points could have been resolved quickly, it's a lesson in the value of clear communication. Reading the book felt like drinking a warm cup of cider. Thanks to #NetGalley for the chance to review!

➜ This book was so easy to read that I was able to read it in less than 48 hours and fell in love with it in the first chapter! Talking about chapters, can we talk about how short they are!!? The author knows what she is doing!! And the almost non-spice?? Ugh, I loved it.
ू♡ Jumping into the story we have a heart warming romance that happens in autumn (the best season,no arguing) with Childhood sweethearts, forced proximity and second chances!! There’s no better trope’s than this all together! In other view, this books shows a really beautiful meaning behind it, how important it is to have conversations with your partner, how a conversation can change EVERYTHING and make everything easy. I loved how we can see the characters evolution and changing for each other, there’s absolutely no doubt that the love between them made them who they were in the last chapters. I thought a lot about how necessary this book is and how everyone should read it and see how the leakage of communication can end a relationship for silly motives. Beyond being a 5 star, It’s such a NECESSARY READ! The writing was so easy and refreshing to read that I couldn’t put the book down. A beautiful mix of rom com with a hint of hurt to make you ball your eyes out and a small mystery plot twist that will make your jaw drop.
ू♡ I want to talk especially about our MMC, how he suffered but he NEVER gave up on our FMM, it was such a beautiful thing to read how his love for her was patient and calm while she was a walking chaotic storm. I am completely obsessed with them and obviously this turned out to be a newfound comfort author that talks about problems in such easy and comfy way! Their love is the purest ever and definitely made my standards higher than ever.
ू♡ For final, I wanted to add some of my favourite quotes of the book, which was very complicated because I highlighted almost every quote on this book, it’s basically everything just so beautiful and so accurate that I passed more times saying “Fr. awww. *sobbing*” than actually reading.

“-You came back.
-I couldn’t stay away”
“Even after all these years, the sight of Madison did something to him. He was convinced she’d have that pull on him until the day he died. She would forever be the love of his life. He didn’t deny that.”
“Because Madison wasn’t just a memory of a pretty face. She was home. She always had been.”
“Bravery isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s just showing up when you’re unsure. Sometimes it’s staying when it would be easier to leave.”

I would like to thank Netgalley & Bookouture for an advanced copy of this!!
This book was able to accomplish in a day what me & my therapist haven't been able to accomplish in a year. The dopamine shot this book gives should be studied.
If you've been reading my reviews, you should already know, this is absolutely NOTHINGGGG like what I usually read. I am not a romance/ contemporary romance (basically anything that brings straight joy) girlie. But maybe this is my sign to change that.
I was first drawn to this when Gilmore Girls was mentioned in the synopsis. Gilmore Girls has always had my little black heart in a chokehold. This delivered on that promise in the most absolutely perfect ways!
I was feeling all the feels with this one, feelings I didn't even know were possible to obtain from a book. Happy tears, frustrated tears, goosebumps, nausea, & I swear I thought I was going to dry heaving once or twice.. The pining 🤌🏻🤌🏻 the yearning 🤌🏻🤌🏻 the lack of flippin communication that leaves you raging 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
Also, like many, I've been ready for spooky season since yesterday & have finally started to gaslight myself into thinking it's here. Which was another reason I was drawn to this
This book delivers smoother than an obstetrician. The mood is SUPERB! Everything I needed to catapult every fiber of my being to cozy season. This book kicks all five of your senses into overdrive! Apple vanilla lattes!? Baked goods that will make you swoon almost as fast as the cinnamon roll of a man we have here!? & Again GILMORE GIRLS!? I feel as if that should be "nuff said" right there.

The Cinnamon Spice Inn is the perfect fall book! Small town romance with a little heartbreak. Happy there was some hope and healing as well. I loved the cozy autumn setting. There was a lot of miscommunication throughout the book and that’s not my favorite trope but it worked for this book. Loved that this was also a slow burn! Highly recommend.
Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for the arc of this book.

This story follows Madison, a NYC fine dining restaurant critic, as she returns to her Small Town, USA hometown and reunites with her childhood love. Zach, is the typical local hero, a grumpy contractor with a heart of gold, always willing to lend a hand to all the old biddies, and is still holding out a torch for his first love though he won't admit it to himself. Their young romance was thwarted not by long distance or conflicting careers & life values, as you may expect, but unfortunately from a bad case of miscommunication.
This book is cute, though! The vibes are perfect. The minor characters are interesting, lively, and pop off the page. That feeling doesn't translate over into the two main characters, sadly. I feel that the initial pacing is SO incredibly fast. By the end of Chapter 1 these two characters have had a run-in again. I'm all for jumping right into the action, but I think rushing the pacing has eliminated some exposition that would have been particularly insightful to Madison's character. So much of the narrative and romantic tension stems from the two characters having had previous misunderstandings of past events and an unwillingness to communicate honestly in the present. Another layer of character development for Madison and Zach would have gone a long way. I don't get the sense that these two main characters have lived their lives in the time they were apart and so their reunion doesn't carry the same sense of relief and satisfaction.
Long story short: I liked the book, perfect for the fall vibes, really easy reading, would definitely continue reading this series, just some small tweaks could have made this good story into a great one.
I received an ARC via NetGalley for an honest review.

The perfect autumn vibes! It's a cute cozy romance in a small town. The vibes are immaculate. If you like Gilmore Girls and Lorie Gilmore it's exactly for you. The writing is smooth, so fun and addictive. Made me want to curl up in a blanket with a hot chocolate and made me blush at times

As one who is obsessed with the fall season and romance stories, this book was perfection!😍🍁🧡🎃
I really don’t give out many 5-stars because, for me, I need to feel like I am a part of a story. Well let me tell you, I 1000% felt a part of Maple Falls, watching Maddie and Zach fall in love all over again. It was a solid
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
For this being Harper Graham’s first book, she hit it out of the park. This books gives all the cozy and warm small-town vibes. I could just taste Zach’s applebutter and Kit/Maddie’s mom’s cinnamon rolls. I could feel the love Maddie and Zach had, not just for each other, but the town. I also loved the addition of the mysterious letter. Was a very sweet and touching aspecte! This was an all around feel good fall romance! I highly recommend this read!
I cannot wait to get Liam and Cassidy’s story in The Spiced Cocoa Café. 🥰🍫☕️ Also, Harper Graham, could we get Kit’s lovestory too?😉

This was such a cosy, fun easy read
I’m so ready for autumn and this book really got me in all the feels and in the mood for it 🥰
The food, characters, autumn vibes and cosy town had me dreaming of a visit to somewhere just as cosy
The cinnamon spiced inn sounds likes the literal place of my dreams, with its autumnal colours, lakeside view and spiced pastries.
I did find some parts very predictable but this book was a fun easy read.
-Cosy small town romance
-Autumn/fall
-Second chance romance
-Found family

Thank you NetGalley for the arc.. This book was all right, it might have been better if it was shorter, maybe edited by 50-75 pages. There wasn't much dialogue between characters in the book so that might have put me might.

3.5 rounded up!
The fall vibes were immaculate. Props to the author for really making me feel transported to Maple Falls! Even the Halloween vibes... I could feel myself walking along the streets and found myself smiling along while reading. I wish I lived here.
The main reason I'm rating it a 3.5 is the miscommunication trope. There were definitely some good parts, but I can't get over conflicts that could be resolved with one conversation that just doesn't happen for whatever reason...
Anyway, I think it's great for a cozy, autumn read, and I'd recommend it for that purpose.

*Bumped to 5*
The Cinnamon Spice Inn was everything I want in a fall romance—comforting, charming, and emotionally satisfying. From the first page, I felt transported to Maple Falls, a town bursting with fall colour, cinnamon spice, and second chances.
Madison’s return to her hometown to save her family’s inn sets the stage for a heartfelt story about rediscovering your roots, rekindling old love, and finding peace where you least expect it. I really connected with her character—stubborn, driven, and fiercely independent, but also carrying a deep emotional weight. Zach, the gruff handyman and ex-boyfriend, was the perfect contrast—steady, loyal, and full of quiet longing. The tension between them felt real and well-earned, with just the right mix of banter and emotional depth.
The setting? Pure autumn magic. Pumpkin festivals, apple butter, skeleton baristas, cinnamon rolls—every scene was infused with cozy seasonal details that made the town feel alive. I could see it all. Even the animals (Pumpkin and Spice the cows, and Coco the dog) added to the warmth and charm.
I’ll admit, the miscommunication trope popped up a little too often, and I did get frustrated with the characters occasionally—but it didn’t take away from how much I loved their journey. The emotional layers, the found family elements, and the romantic tension made this story easy to devour.
This book gave me the small town home I desire and I didn’t want to leave Maple Falls! I can't wait until the next book The Spiced Cocoa Cafe. Harper Graham has created a world I’ll gladly revisit anytime the leaves start to turn.
If you love the Dream Harbor series by Laurie Gilmore, you need a copy of this then!

This is another super cozy book to read this fall! We have the romance, the famous pumpkin spice lattes, and a whole end-of-year vibe.
It's a very readable book. It has a good pace and very sweet characters. And I'm sure it will start a great series. Those small town series with Gilmore Girls vibes, you know?
The writing was what surprised me most. Very realistic, without clichéd expressions and with very complete dialogue. Not childish at all and an easy read.
As for Maddie and Zach's story... I liked it. I think it's a good slow burn and second-chance romance, with a lot of tension between them. However, and I think this is what keeps me at 4.25, the lack of communication in this book is very present. Although it's something that's resolved shortly after, it remains a constant in these pages.
I've reached the end of this book, and I can say that the ending made me happy. The whole story with Maddie's mother, her relationship with her father, and her desire to help her family despite other forces was what drew me most to this book.
And needless to say, I'm super curious to read the next couple's story! They both seem super sweet! I can't wait!!
I gave this book a solid 4.25 stars.

Oh what a book! I adored everything, it gave me all the warm fuzzies. It was like being wrapped in a wool blanket and being handed a pumpkin spiced latte.
The writing was so lush and descriptive, it felt like I could smell the spiced baked goods, feel the crisp autumn air with the sun on my face. I got so immersed in the vibes.
This was a second chance
romance done right! It's very easy to get that wrong, but in my opinion this was done very well, it had just the right amount of angst and longing.
Even though this is a romance book, it also focused on family and community, and pulling together to save a most beloved inn.
Maple Falls you have my whole heart and I just wish you were a real place so I could visit.
Thank you to the publishers and Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This is book One in the Maple Falls Series and I loved the design on the front cover it looks very autumnal. When Madison returns to her home town, there are certain people she would like to avoid but that is not the case. She is happy where she lives now and being back just throws all of that up in the air. Madison is home to help save The Cinnamon Spice Inn as it holds a lot of memories for her. Will she get more than she bargained for when she goes home? and will she ever go back? It was a slow burner, but an easy story to follow along to. The characters are all well rounded and balanced. It was one of those stories where it is very predictable but an easy pick up read.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for the ARC in exchange for an honest review of this book.
The Cinnamon Spice Inn follows Madison, back in her hometown from the big city here to rescue her family’s inn. Back for the first time in years, it’s also the first time she’s seen Zach since their breakup, and their second-chance romance unfolds across the pages.
Unfortunately, this book did not live up to my expectations. The concept of this town and many of the side characters have potential. I loved that the cows were named Pumpkin and Spice. I love an everyone-knows-everyone town. I think Kit in particular would have a compelling story. I love the craft circle. But despite some of the charms present, this book fell completely flat for me on almost all fronts.
While it promises to be cozy, I felt the writing to be a lot of telling, rather than showing. Something is not cozy just because you tell the reader it is, the feeling needs to be present, and it just was not here. I also found the banter between characters a bit stilted, when it could have had more voice and character, especially through the different characters. Liam’s was especially painful in his conversations with Zach, which only served to move the plot forward for his relationship with Madison.
The worst offender in this book is the miscommunication. I found it impossible to root for our leads, who have spent years of no contact, over a misunderstanding that took almost no time to resolve. Miscommunication is the source of all of their problems in this book - how can I ever expect these two to have a relationship if they can never have an honest conversation? If the author had spent more time exploring their relationship beforehand, maybe I would have been more invested. For a couple that was together since elementary school, I didn’t feel any kind of spark between them besides physical, which made their story uninteresting and uninspiring.
I love a romance, but this didn’t do it for me. The characters were underdeveloped and the conflict lacked depth, this story would have benefitted from beginning a bit earlier to really feel their back story and having us be invested.

Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for this ARC! What can I say? This book gave me fall vibes. For me, it was a bit of a slow start and was less atmospheric than some of the "small town, cozy, etc. etc." books I have recently, BUT it picked up about a third through the book, and then I was able to zip through the rest in a pumpkin spice and apple fueled frenzy. I'm not sure I loved Madison as the main character, I felt she fell a bit flat, but she does have some redeeming qualities, namely, her love for her family and the inn. The romance with Zach was a little too hot and cold for me (and not really in the enemies to lovers way...) I'm not sure, their love just wasn't really my jam.
I did love Gram. Sweet, wise, and sassy! I also loved the town of Maple Falls. A nice, friendly mayor, several cute shops, a bakery, cafe, a town square, and festivals. Maple Falls is somewhere I'd like to live in real life! As for the plot, it follows the same route as many I have read recently, but it was nice enough to follow along and wonder how everything is going to work out. I did enjoy the bit of mystery with the secret admirer letters that was weaved through the story.
I look forward to seeing how Liam's story unfolds in the next installment of the Maple Falls series.
3/5.

Thanks to @bookouture and @netgalley for this ARC.
Madison, who lives in NYC, receives an anonymous letter urging her to return to Maple Falls and save her childhood home—The Cinnamon Spice Inn— which was once a popular and vibrant place when her mother was alive. She heeds the calling with the hope that everything would be sorted in three weeks.
What she didn’t expect was the unwanted reawakened feelings for her ex/childhood sweetheart —Zach —whom she broke up with six years ago or having to work in close proximity with him when a storm ruins a part of the Inn.
To Zach, Madison will always be that girl who broke his heart and left because it was convenient for her. When she unexpectedly returns, he does everything in his power to suppress feelings that threaten to consume him because he refuses to fall apart again.
TCI is a charming small-town romance story which captures the complexities of love. The everybody-in-each other’s business thing going on and some cheeky side characters added some humour to the story.
Overall, this was a nice read. I loved seeing both characters develop; however, I got frustrated by the persistent miscommunication between the two main characters, which made some parts of the story feel drawn out.
PS: This book would make your mouth water for pastries! 🤭😅
