This is a perfect vibes read. If you want a cozy autumn vibe this is the book for you. The author did a great job of making you feel like you are in this cozy town and I swear I could smell and taste everything described in this book! I wouldn’t mind buying a cookbook based on this book!
The plot is a cute romance. It is a great pallet cleanser type of book to read if you want something light and quick. I read this book in a day and enjoyed the sweet predicable love story. Sometime you need a simple story that you already know how it’s going to end but you just want the vibes.

I enjoyed the whole small town autumnal vibes, and I really loved a lot of the side characters so if any of them get their own book I’ll probably read it. It shouldn’t be marketed as enemies to lovers because I think they’re a bit angry for maybe one chapter and even then they’re both fantasising about each other constantly. The miscommunication was just silly and I don’t believe that it wouldn’t have been talked about at the time. I did find their relationship sweet. I’m usually not a big fan of second chance romances but in this case I did actually like it.

If Hallmark did books, this would be what they wrote. You get everything you expect from a small-town romance. Misunderstandings, returning home after a long time away to realise feelings you thought long gone had never actually left. We have tripping into the arms of your ex. Banter, teasing and flirtation and meddlesome older ladies, we also have a healthy dose of mystery.
It was warm, cosy and a beautiful love story, it is the exact type of thing that I eat up. It's predictable, of course it is, but it’s a great time, and for a nice autumn read, yes, please give me more of this.
We are introduced to Madison right away, and of course, as per small-town romances, we have drama when the inn she’s supposed to be helping gets caught in a storm and a tree takes out the room, and the only person capable of fixing it? Her ex, the one that she left behind in this small town. It becomes clear straight away that feelings are still there, even if Zach is a little cold and distant.
Now, were there some things that I disliked? Yes, but again the vibes of the book allowed me to overlooked them, but some people might not be able to. There was a lot of repetition in the first half of the book, Madison must have said every chapter it felt like, the reason for their relationship breaking down, and girl we get it, but it got so frustrating to read, like i don’t need to be told one more time why the relationship broke down, or why your back in town.
If you dislike the bad communication trope, this is perhaps not for you as it stems around it (mostly in the past) but I will say it is always, in the present, cleared up pretty quick, it’s added for flare more than anything i feel. Also, i’ve seen this advertised in areas as enemies to lovers, it’s not, it’s not even rivalries to lovers, or anything, it’s two ex’s getting on the right page.
I wanted more from the mystery, it’s the reason she came back to town and she seemed to forget about it outside of a handful of mentions, until the back half of the book, Madison was supposed to thrive on mystery and solving them, so i wanted more.
So yea, there are a couple of faults, but again, hallmark style book, so i’m not complaining in the slightest, it didn’t detract from the book, and the next book will be without a doubt, one i pick up.

This book read like every small town romance, but was missing the spark that makes me love a nice cozy small town.
I like a good miscommunication trope, but only when it’s done right. I felt like this was a book about two people who really need to learn how to talk to one another and not jump to conclusions to soon. The whole book could have been avoided if they just spoke to each other and that really let me down.
It was missing the tension that would have made it amazing and everything seemed to happen to perfectly.
Thanks NetGalley and Bookouture for the advanced copies. I wish I could have enjoyed it more.

Madison receives a letter to ask her to go home to the Cinnamon Spice Inn as her father is not coping. She works in New York, but drops everything to go home. Will she be able to save the Inn? While there she bumps into Zach her ex, will love blossom again? A lovely cozy autumn/fall read full of pumpkins and spice. This is going to be a series and can’t wait to read the next book. A nice easy read. 5 stars. Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for a copy.

I was really looking forward to The Cinnamon Spice Inn—a cozy small-town romance with the promise of charm, community, and heartwarming moments is exactly the kind of story I usually adore. While the premise was inviting, I found myself struggling to stay engaged with this one.
The setting had potential to be the perfect backdrop for a sweet, comforting story, but it never fully came alive for me. The inn itself, while central to the title, felt more like a surface detail than a fully fleshed-out part of the narrative. Similarly, the romance was sweet but lacked the depth and tension needed to make me really root for the couple. Their connection often felt rushed, and I would have loved to see more slow-burn development or authentic conflict.
The pacing was uneven, with certain sections dragging while others skimmed over key moments that could have added emotional weight. I also found the dialogue a bit repetitive at times, which made it harder to connect with the characters on a deeper level.
That being said, the book does deliver on cozy vibes and a sense of comfort, making it a decent pick if you’re looking for something light and easy to read. It just didn’t quite capture the small-town magic I was hoping for.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

ICozy autumn vibes: check. Cozy, small town: check. Enemies to lovers trope? Not quite. Extreme miscommunication trope between adults? Absolutely.
If you're looking for a book parallel to the vibes from the Pumpkin Spice Cafe series, this book is for you. It follows Madison, a food critic who moved to the big city from her small home town, who comes back to town after receiving and anonymous letter that her dad & family inn needs a little help.
Her ex, Zach, is naturally the carpenter for various projects and stars a the main male character.
Overall, the story is good enough to want to continue on with the series, but there are a few(several) plot holes that go unanswered almost immediately after being presented as an important part of the plot. The end of the book seemed a bit rushed like the author was just trying to wrap things up and get the book done.
Thank you to Netgalley & Bookouture for an advanced copy of this novel!

This story was so cute. I loved seeing the classic tale of a young woman who went away to chase her dreams in the city coming back to her small town where her first love resides. Madison and Zach. Yes this sounds very much like a Hallmark movie, but fear not my spicy romance lovers, this book has some heated slow burn spice. There was plenty of fall description that set the perfect scene for this entire small town. I felt like I was actually in Maple Falls, smelling the cinnamon in the air. It honestly made me want to curl up with a blanket and a pumpkin spiced latte. Zach was the type of man that is reliable and steady, being such a kindhearted town handyman. I can see why Madison fell for him. I can also see why Zach was so guarded when Madison returned back to her small town to save her family’s inn. One thing I wish is that these two characters communicated better. I feel like most of their problems could have been solved with a simple conversation. However, I do love that Madison had a chance to go to NYC and build a career that she loved in food writing. Though I was frustrated with their lack of communication, I could see how it made their appreciation and love for one another grow. Another bonus in this book for me was the small mysterious aspect to it- the anonymous letters. I love a dash of mystery in my stories so this only made it more enjoyable. Like I said earlier, I really did think this was a sweet and cozy romance story and I would definitely recommend this to those looking for a fall romance read this upcoming season.

Harper Graham’s The Cinnamon Spice Inn is pure autumn wrapped in a romance novel. From the very first chapter, you can almost smell the cinnamon rolls baking and hear the crunch of Maple Falls leaves underfoot.
What I loved most is how the setting isn’t just background, it is the story’s heartbeat. The Cinnamon Spice Inn feels like a character of its own: creaky floors, cozy corners, and a kitchen that practically begs for a late-night confession over cider.
Madison isn’t a perfect heroine. She’s ambitious, career-driven, and chasing success as a food writer, yet she struggles with the pull of family roots and nostalgia. That mix of confidence and vulnerability makes her feel real. Her ability to show both strength and softness makes readers root for her.
A charming, cozy, and a little steamy escape for anyone who craves small-town magic.

Thank you NetGalley for providing me this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was definitely a cozy, cute fall romance. The town had such a beautiful charm about it and the description of the town and inn itself really captured the world. I really enjoyed the story and thought it was simply adorable.
The FMC & MMC... I did like them but if you follow my reviews, you know I despise miscommunication tropes. This one urked me so much. The two were so in love then wasted 6 years of their time when a simple 5 minute conversation ended up fixing everything. Infuriating. I felt like the FMC was immature at times and the two truly could not communicate, unless it was with other people. Some interactions were cute though.
I loved the meddling Grandma. She was a great character.
If you're looking for a cozy autumn read, this was a wonderful debut.

Thank you to Harper Graham and the publisher for letting me read and review "The Cinnamon Spice Inn"!
I tried, I really did. I wanted something cute, cozy, and autumnal to read, and this seemed like it would be perfect. Unfortunately, the 3-person point of view really threw me, as well as our FMC. I could not stand her as a person; she was a vapid Mary Sue, and I couldn't get past seething at her after the first chapter. She carried on to become pedantic and reminded me of the meme of that person riding a bike and putting a stick through the spokes of the wheel. She was the issue; she was the reason she kept having communication problems, and she didn't have nearly as much growth as I would have liked for all the shenanigans she caused. I wish I had better things to say, and I wish I enjoyed it more. I'm sure there are others out there who will appreciate it, but it wasn't for me.

What a cute fall read! This small town romance has all the fall vibes, exes finding their way back together, mystery letters, and a cozy inn that needs fixing up! There are a couple of spicy scenes and lots of tension! Highly recommend to fans of The Pumpkin Spice Cafe series!
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the advanced copy!

Such a cute small town, second chance romance.
This book is the definition of small town. Everyone knows everyone and they all are involved in each other's business. Not for trying to be ugly, but to try to do their own share of "helpful" meddling.
I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. This book had me laughing, crying, and all but yelling at the characters.

Madison has come home to Maple Falls from New York after receiving an anonymous note informing her that her childhood home, the Cinnamon Spice Inn, has been struggling to stay afloat after her mothers passing. As soon as she gets home, there is a storm that sends a tree through the roof of the inn. Zach, Madison's ex, is a handyman who has been hired to fix the roof. Can they work together to save the inn? Do they still have feelings for each other?
I absolutely loooved the fall vibes of this book. All of the talk of sweaters, pumpkins, fuzzy socks, warm drinks and baked goods just absolutely made me so ready for fall. I definitely recommend reading during the cooler months to really get the vibes right.
What I didn't love about this book was the miscommunicated. Gah, it was so freaking frustrating!! I get that you want there to be drama sometimes to make for an interesting story, but by the third time they failed to communicate I wanted to throw hands. Just talk to each other!! Madison was really driving me crazy with how she just pretty much refused to talk to Zach about anything ever.
Despite my frustrations by their lack of communication, it was a very fun, light, and cozy read.
Thank you Harper, Bookouture and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my thoughts & review.

The tagline for this was 'a totally addictive, heart-warming and cozy small-town romance' While I wouldn't necessarily call it addictive, it was a cozy romance. In part a romance between the two lead characters who act as our narrators, but it's also a love letter to small-town life, community, and the ties that bind.
I fell completely in love with the town of Maple Falls. The sights and smells are described so beautifully you can almost see and smell them as the reader, and I definitely found myself wanting to go and stay at the inn, or even better to find myself a small town to settle down in. The lead characters are childhood sweethearts separated largely by stubbornness and misunderstanding, thrown back together by circumstance and not a small amount of well-intentioned meddling. The writing is lovely and this is exactly the kind of book I love to curl up with in front of the fire under a blanket - which happily wouldn't be out of place in Maple Falls.
I do have some frustrations - the characters are quite 2 dimensional and most of the actual substantial plotline happens in the final 10 chapters which is a shame. At points I did find a couple of the chapters or descriptors repetitive too.
Nonetheless I enjoyed and would recommend this, if you're looking for a nice, easy-going, seasons changing style book then this is a great one to start with.

I'll be honest, two major plot holes aside (ie where did the money come from to fix up the inn and who would run the inn when she left), it wasn't believable that Madison and Zach truly loved one another with the amount of miscommunications happening. The number of times one or the other would jump to conclusions and then give them the cold shoulder. It was just a bit much.
I started to feel as though they didn't really think highly of one another if they couldn't give them a chance to talk first.
I wanted to love this because I loveeee a cozy fall romance read but this fell a bit flat for me.

What a lovely Fall read! The Cinnamon Spice Inn is a cute small-town second chance love story that is heart warming and fun.
Fans of Hart of Dixie will love this small town Fall romance. It is the perfect combination of small town and big dreams, of people struggling between their own issues and wanting one another.
I do wish the ending hadn’t wrapped up quite so quickly though. I loved these characters and would have loved to see more of the story-I wasn’t ready for it to end!

I love fall themed romance books, but I could not get into this one. I think the only trope that should be labeled under this book is severe, and I mean SEVERE miscommunication. Madison didn't deserve Zach at all. It was a struggle to read honestly 😪

A cozy fun fall read! Nothing groundbreaking or anything but it gave all the right vibes and ended in a HEA so what else could you want! Very spicy which drew me personally out of the story but the childhood friends to lovers to enemies to lovers pipeline was really fun to read!

Thank you for the ARC. I am usually all in for autumnal cosy vibes books, and I might say that the vibes were great, but I didn’t conncet with the characters.
I tried and tried and even though some moments were cute, I didn’t enjoy the miscommunication problems and the 3 person POV. It made it all so hard to relate, at least for me.
I would recommend it to those looking for a cosy book and a cute romance.
