Thank you to Netgalley and Bookouture for allowing me an opportunity to read this book and letting me write an honest review.

Madison, a food writer and self-proclaimed coffee addict has always believed she belongs to the fast paced energy of New York City- not in the small town village. But when an anonymous letter arrives, she learns that her childhood home and family owned business, The Cinnamon Spice Inn, is in danger back in her hometown Maple Falls. Relunctantly returning, Madison bumps into her ex- boyfriend Zach, the town's handyman- who end's up helping Madison to repair the Inn. Chemistry between them is undeniable, though Zach knows how to annoy Madison. For his part, Zach has not forgotten the girl who once ran away from both him and the small town village. With their messy breakup, lingering feelings, and the mystery of the letter, the two must set aside their differences and save the Inn. The question is in love do second chances win?

The book is the perfect autumn cozy read! With enemies to lovers banter, small town vs big city tension and all the cinnamon and coffee scented vibes, it's the ideal book to curl up with. Harper Graham's writing perfectly captures the warmth of Autumn- the crisp air, golden leaves and nostalgic coziness reminiscent of Gilmore Girls. Told from both Madison and Zach's perspectives, readers get a glimpse into each of their hearts and thoughts. While it's romance as it's core, a subtle thread of mystery keeps the pages turning. Lighthearted and engaging, the perfect book to pull you out of a reading slump- definitely a must read!

Cinnamon Spice Inn is perfect for a cozy, fall read. We follow Madison, an NYC food reviewer who gets called back to her small, home town of Maple Falls via anonymous letter to help her father with the Cinnamon Spice Inn, Upon returning, she finds that she's not the only one that was recruited to help, but her ex-boyfriend, Zach, the hot, sexy handyman is also working on the Inn. We are seeing forced proximity and tough decisions that must be made in order to save the Inn and decide what's best for Madison's future.

I really enjoyed reading this. It's exactly what you would expect and you can just turn your brain off and read a sweet book in a cute and cozy town.

It wasn't quite up there for me compared to the Pumpkin Spice Cafe, but I enjoyed it regardless. I would have liked to know more of the other characters and seen more of the town but it did sort of make me feel at home.

Thanks for letting me review!

2.5 stars.

Your typical autumnal cosy vibes read - for fans of the pumpkin spiced cafe. Although the vibes and setting were good and definitely got me into the autumn seasonal mood, I couldn’t say as much for the writing style and the plot. Unfortunately I hate the miscommunication trope, and especially between fully grown adult characters, so this wasn’t to my particular liking. I also don’t think this was a true enemies to lovers as they were never really enemies ??

I’d recommend if you’re looking for a cosy autumnal vibes read and are a fan of books such as the pumpkin spiced cafe.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an arc in exchange for an honest review.

Reading The Cinnamon Spice Inn by Heather Graham was really such a cozy joy! Right from the first page, I felt like I fast forward from summer to the fall in a small town like Gilmore Girls were everyone knew each other and lend a helping hand! While listening I felt wrapped in warm blanket by the fire with a London fog while following Madison’s journey. I loved both Madison and Zach; their second chance story started with so much tension and awkwaness after a miscommunicated situation. Through the book their chemistry and growth through real communication made their romance feel genuine and heartfelt.

4.5!! This book was so cozy!! I absolutely loved the vibes this book gave off. The writing was so good and I felt like I was there in Maple Falls with our characters. It was a cozy, fun, heartfelt romance book that dealt with some grief. I loved how when the characters were presented with conflict, they resolved it rather quickly, instead of letting it ruin them. The writing was atmospheric and the chapters were short and sweet, I couldn't keep the book down. Would recommend if you're in need of a fall read! This one is PERFECT!!

The falls vibes definitely made the book. I’d love to re-read this book this fall.

I am not a fan of the miscommunication trope and that was definitely a main point between the two main characters. The supporting characters were great and I’m excited to read their stories in the future.

Thank you Net Galley for the ARC.

The Cinnamon Spice Inn is a cute, cozy fall romance perfect for fans of the Dream Harbor series. Madison receives an anonymous letter that her father’s inn needs help. When she comes to help she discovers her ex, Zach, is living in a cabin near the inn and helping with renovations. This book is billed as enemies to lovers but Madison and Zach aren’t enemies. They are two exes who are clearly. It over each other. I loved the fall vibes and the cozy setting of the book but the romance fell flat as I found myself liking Zach but rooting for him to find someone who isn’t Madison. Overall it’s a fine read to put you in the mood for fall.

A gorgeous cosy autumn read with a golden retriever MMC and a determined, fiery FMC. The setting and scenery are stunning and the hot/cold slow burn between the MCs keeps you guessing.
I loved all of the secondary characters and I can't wait to read more from this series!

This story is the epitome of a cozy autumn read, however I did have to put this book down. The writing was good, the issue I took with the book was its pacing, I found it to be rather slow and therefore my mind would wonder. There was a lot of repetition of phrases and thoughts that characters would have and I would be reading thinking ‘please just communicate’.

The autumnal vibes that this book conveyed were exceptional from the half that I read though, leaving me even more excited for the season fast approaching. This writer has talent, especially in atmospheric writing, it is just that this particular story was not for me personally.

After reading some word-heavy fiction, I was glad when I was selected to read Maple Falls, a cookery book-perfect cosy fantasy set in Massachusetts.

Maple Falls follows the story of Madison and Zach, two friends-to-lovers-to-enemies who find themselves reunited by a series of mysterious notes leading Madison to move back from NYC to her hometown.

When she arrives back to help her ailing family home of The Cinnamon Spice Inn, she finds that herself and Zach are not-so-subtly encouraged to spend time with each other again by well-meaning family members and townsfolk, and must solve the mystery of who is behind the notes.

I wanted to like this book but found the main characters underwhelming and underdeveloped. The plot—while cute—left much to be desired with the constant rehashing of the miscommunication trope. I also found myself wanting to know more about the supporting characters, especially Liam and Kit, rather than read another romance scene.

I wanted to love this book because who doesn't love a cozy fall romance book? This is 100% my opinion - but I didn't like this book as much as I wanted. That's because the miscommunication trope in a romance novel bothers me so much and it plays a HUGE part of this story. It happens repeatedly, and instead of confronting each other and talking about what happened years ago - they kept avoiding the subject and lashing out or doing something ridiculous that just made it worse. The setting was great though, I loved the writing, and the characters were fun - but the back and forth and not just talking about what happened was too much for me to fully enjoy this book.

The Cinnamon Spice Inn is the kind of cozy, heartwarming read that feels like wrapping up in a blanket with a warm latte in hand. Harper Graham does such a beautiful job capturing small-town charm, community, and the comfort of second chances. The setting itself, the inn becomes a character, filled with warmth, hope, and a little bit of magic. I loved watching the characters find healing and connection, all while the cozy, cinnamon spiced atmosphere wrapped around the story. A perfect fall read! 🍂☕

This book is super super cute! I loved the way that the author visually protrays the look, feel and smell of Maple Falls and the people in it. I liked the FMC and I liked her inner conflict. I woudln't want to leave behind a kick ass job in the city that I busted my butt to get, either.

I wasn't wild about the MMC, he was kind of blah.

The biggest drawback to this story (for me) is that the entire book is one big series of misscommunication tropes, which is my nemesis. Even when they get one thing fixed, then they completely miscommunicate about another. It drove me bonkers.

Very cozy, very Hallmark, immaculate fall vibes.

Second chance romance? A little mystery? Cozy fall vibes? Gilmore girls vibes? This one checks all of the boxes! Zach and Mads drifted apart after Mads moved to New York. But, like all great loves, they found themselves back in the same town, AND the same inn. Mads comes home to help save her family's Inn, after receiving an anonymous letter asking that she come home and help. After a storm knocks out Zach's electricity and creates some added problems at the Inn, Mads and Zach find themselves seeing a lot more of each other than either of them signed up for. Being home, Mads started to realize all that she had been missing out on by moving to New York. Mads being home also showed Zach how much he missed Mads and how much he still cared for her. Zach is a softy and will do anything to help anyone, so when his mom mentioned that she had received an anonymous letter that the inn needed help, he had no choice but to help Mads and her family out. I loved the mystery factor with the anonymous letters and finding out who sent them. I NEED the recipe for the cinnamon rolls with Zach's famous apple butter, because YUM! A little addition that I loved about this book was the cute playlist at the beginning. It really helped set the vibe for this cute fall read. This is the perfect read to transition from summer to fall. Loved seeing Zach and Mads find their way back to each other. I will say that their communication needs a lot of work and I didn't love the third act break up. Overall, a four star read that left me feeling warm and fuzzy and ready for some pumpkin spice. Speaking of spice, the tension and heat was off the charts. Will be recommending to other readers!

I absolutely loved reading this book! The storyline had me craving the ber months with their cosy nights and warm drinks. The author described the setting beautifully and I really felt like I could see Maple Falls and the whole small town vibe. The relationship between childhood sweethearts Madison and Zach had me gripped, wondering whether Madison would stay in Maple Falls or return to New York. And I’m excited to see where this small town takes me next!

Thank you NetGalley for the ebook arc. This series would be great for fans of the Pumpkin Spice Cafe series and beautifully written. A fall cozy cottage core book that will surely get you in the mood for fall. Love this second change romance. She comes home starts helping her father fix up the Inn when a storm rolls in and causes damage to the Inn and the in town handyman is her ex that she left years ago when she moved to the city.

This book has everything you need for an autumn RomCom: The small town girl living in New York who comes homes to help family, the grumpy ex who stayed, pumpkins & chilly autumn air, toffee apple lattes, meddleing town folk & and miscommunication.

A bit slower than your usual RomCom but a lovely autumn read.

The Cinnamon Spice Inn is a solid and genuinely enjoyable entry in the small town romance genre. It delivers exactly what it promises: a cozy, low-stakes escape with a satisfying second chance arc.

What worked for me was the strong sense of place. Harper Graham does an excellent job making Maple Falls feel lived in and autumnal without veering into cheesy. The renovation of the inn provided a great backdrop, and the descriptions of the food and the town's Halloween festivities were a highlight, adding texture without slowing the pace. I want to read more about Kit!
