"The Cinnamon Spice Inn" by Harper Graham is a truly heartwarming story that is abundant in cozy autumnal vibes and romance through and through!
Small town to big city gal Madison is working on her career as a food writer when a mysterious letter shakes up her life; an unknown sender calling her back to help her childhood home, the Cinnamon Spice Inn. Dropping everything, Madison leaves New York City to return to her hometown of Maple Falls. Fallen on hard times and storm-ravaged, the inn needs the help of more than just Madison herself; in comes handyman Zach (who just so happens to be Madison's ex boyfriend) to the rescue!
The buildup and eventual rekindling of Zach and Madison's bygone relationship has good pacing with their work together on the inn leading to sparks flying before long. Both main characters are likeable on their own and also have an immense amount of chemistry between each other which makes them an easy ship. The misunderstanding that lead to their past split is understandable from both sides; although it felt almost torturous waiting for them to finally talk it over and hear each other's perspectives. The forced proximity trope works perfectly in this story with the characters having to get along and work together as a team to save the dying inn. I love how both the inn and their relationship became Zach and Madison's passion project. All of the what-ifs for the futures of the two main characters plus the Cinnamon Spice Inn itself had me fully absorbed in reading, not wanting to put this book down!
The plot line following the mysterious letter that brought Madison back home was quite interesting and it lingered in my mind as I read on. The big reveal was unexpected but perfect!
Something else that jumped out to me while reading is just how beautifully written the descriptions of the town of Maple Falls and its autumn scenery is; not to mention the mouthwatering descriptions of many yummy seasonal foods!
Overall this was a very cute, very romantic story that made for an excellent read! I would 100% add this book to my physical collection.
A huge thank you to Netgalley and Bookouture for this eARC in exchange for my honest review.

For anyone who is dreaming of Fall foliage, hot mulled wine and a pumpkin on every staircase, this ‘second chance at love’ story is for you. Perfect for fans of Laurie Gilmore, the Gilmore Girls and Sweet Home Alabama (the movie, not the song). Packed with small town charm, spicy scenes and a male MC that you will fall in love with.

I thought this was such a cozy fall read! If you're looking for that vibe, then this is a good! I like the second chance trope and this fulfilled it for me! Honestly, I woul describe the vibe with cozy mixed with thrilling. I was taken by surprise because I didn't expect the story to be so gripping. It's a 5 stars!

Loveeeddd the absolute curtest cozy fall romance book! The romance tropes, including second chance romance, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, and small town vs. city life. I loved the story and chemistry & fall setting such a great cozy read thank you so much NetGalley, Harper Graham, Bookoture for the ARC so good

First, thank you to NetGalley, Harper Graham and Bookouture for the eArc opportunity!
The best way to describe the experience of reading this story would be… Autumn Spicy. The writing style made me long for the autumn season, and gave all the vibes and feels of the season. Genuinely the descriptions of everything that people associate with fall, was so good in this book that it made me remember why I’ve always loved the season and excited for the weather to turn.
The characters and the plot did give me Gilmore Girl vibes (Luke and Lorelei love story vibes, with a lot of side characters like the townspeople in Stars Hollow), and the overall storyline is pretty standard contemporary romance with second chance/miscommunication tropes.
Was this overall a good time? YES. Would I recommend this if you’re looking for a sweet and straightforward romance story? Also, yes.

I was first drawn in by the title and the cover, and this book definitely brings the autumn vibes I was expecting from them. The writing is veryyy descriptive (even describing the FMC’s clothing sometimes), which really does set the autumn tone and paints a detailed picture of everything going on. This also helps with the worldbuilding of Maple Falls, the cute small town this story takes place in.
However I do think the writing was overly wordy at times, especially with their inner dialogues I think it got kinda repetitive like they kept thinking the same things again and again. Also, because so much of this story is about misunderstandings/miscommunications I think it really would’ve been better told from one POV. I think instead of so much repetitive inner dialogues I would’ve liked to see more character/plot developments, I really liked the mystery aspect and I think that would’ve been cool to see more fleshed out.
But overall this was an enjoyable, cozy read, definitely setting the mood for autumn coming up, and I’m looking forward to seeing more from this author and getting to come back to Maple Falls!

Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for this eARC.
I was really invested at first but soon it got a bit too spicy to my liking and felt like it was more about the love angle rather than trying to save the inn.

I absolutely adored this book! It was the perfect fall read and such a great second chance romance. All the small town vibes mixed with perfect warm cozy autumn feels. I love that the town feels like the perfect place to fall in love during the holidays. That is how I felt the entire time reading this book.

Cute, I liked the story but it was definitely a little predictable. It would be a perfect read in November for the vibes.

I did like the book but i expected more from the book. I like the plot and the fall vibes. There are lots of interesting side-characters that i wan to hear their stories. I would like to read the second book. Overall it was good. Giving warm vibes and everything. Thank u so much for the opportunity.

Thank you to net galley and the author for the copy of this wonderful book.
The name alone dragged me in! This cosy small-town romance delivers EVERYTHING you want in a seasonal book. Harper hit the nail on the head with this one!!
The second chance romance between the FMC and MMC keeps you wanting more the whole way through. I really couldn't put this one down as soon as I picked it up.
Just a little bit to entice you in! She's a city girl and he's a small town boy. They're former childhood sweethearts when a misunderstanding splits them up. After a while miles apart, she returns to the small town she grew up in to fix her family legacy inn. When she bumps back into him, it quickly provides the PERFECT forced proximity set up! (you'll just HAVE to read to find out why!)
At first wasn't quite sure what to expect, as I felt this may be a typical cheesy romance. But, describing it similar to Gilmore girls definitely dragged me in too!
I was MASSIVELY impressed! The writing is beautiful, the way Harper has you delve right into the charm of the town, detailing every little bit! I could picture it all so perfectly!
The romance was sweet and nothing was dragged out for too long. Which always makes it an enjoyable read!
Overall, if you're looking for a cosy autumnal romance! Actually look no further!! This book is just the perfect vibes for autumn :)

Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for the early ARC in exchange for my honest review!
The Cinnamon Spice Inn is pure cozy fall in book form. From apple butter to cinnamon spice donuts to apple cinnamon vanilla lattes, the food descriptions had me constantly craving autumn treats. Maple Falls is an adorable small-town setting that gives major Pumpkin Spice Café vibes—warm, inviting, and brimming with charm.
As a foodie myself, I loved how central cooking and flavors were to the story, and Kit’s chaotic, spirited energy added a fun dash of unpredictability. This is definitely one of those reads that feels like wrapping up in a big fall blanket.
On the flip side, the story jumps in very quickly, without much character setup, which made it harder for me to connect right away. That connection does grow as the book goes on, but I personally would have liked more background earlier. The writing style also leaned a bit more YA than I prefer in adult romance, though it didn’t take much away from the overall cozy experience.
Overall, this is a heartwarming, food-filled, fall-inspired escape—perfect for readers who love small-town romance and books that make you hungry while you read.

3.5 rounded to 4 for this review. Preface, I don't always rock with a romance book, sometimes they push the cornball limit for me. This romance however was so cute, I loved it! It definitely wasn't a tough read, the characters were fun and fully developed (with consideration for this being a pretty short book). I really enjoyed the rekindling of romance between the main characters, and the side characters were fun too. One of the biggest pros of this book for me was also the setting and ambience. This is a perfect cozy fall romance, Harper Graham has masterfully crafted a sense of autumn in this story. Her vivid writing and descriptions really brings you into the season. I read this in late summer and it was the perfect thing to get me excited about the season. Would def recommend as a lighthearted cozy romance with a good ratio of plot to spice. Definitely check this out if you love a romance with a fall ambience!

I found this story super cozy and heartwarming, I loved the Inn and all the town of Maple Falls with all the independent shops. I loved all of the descriptions and really felt like I was right there surrounded by pumpkins.
I do find the setting was the best part of this book, I personally found the main characters just really needed to talk to each other and communicate. Which left me a little frustrated at times as the conflict seemed so unnecessary.
Overall it was an enjoyable book and it will be interesting to see how the characters develop in the next one.

Thank you to Bookouture and Netgalley for this arc in exchange for an honest review.
You know, I'm not really a fan of the miscommunication trope. In fact, it's one of my least favorite romance tropes. But there's a first time for everything because despite the focus on that trope, I really enjoyed The Cinnamon Spice Inn by Harper Graham. The trope really did help set the stage for such a cute fall romance. Our fmc Madison is a coffee lover moving back to her hometown temporarily to help her father with the family inn. Our mmc Zach is a handsome handyman and Madison's ex boyfriend. The story follows these two as they circle each while helping out their small town. Madison and Zach still have major chemistry and can't manage to stay away from each other. This was very cozy and had such cute fall vibes. It's a great choice for an autumn romance lover!

A cosy fall book in a small town, where everyone knows everyone and nothing escapes anyone’s eyes. Especially everything that touches Madison and Zach. Two exes that meet after so many years and can they have a second chance?
I loved this romance so much that i can’t describe it. The story is wonderful, it has everything: romance, tension, small town + fall vibes. It felt like a hug in a cold weather.
I loved both characters and i could see both their sides about their relationship, their breakup. I loved how real they are, how both struggle with their own emotions. The plot is also good. It’s not too much, it’s the right balance between romance and the relationship between all characters. It has a touch of mystery about a certain letter Madison received. Not to talk about the author’s writing. It’s wonderful, it makes you devour the book and not stop until you finish it.
One of my favourite things about the books was the dual pov. We can see how both Madison and Zach feel about what happened, we can see both versions of their stories. There were moments where Madison had a certain idea about something that happened between them that when we see Zach’s pov, we discover it wasn’t like that. This detail made me love the characters even more.
It’s a perfect book for when you want a light romance, a book to read in one sitting. I’ll definitely gonna reread it when i need a light reading. And i’m definitely gonna read every book the author releases.

This book is like a cosy hug on a chilly autumn day. It’s packed with gorgeous seasonal vibes, and made me want to curl up under a blanket with a hot chocolate (or spiced apple coffee which sounded amazing?!)
I did just want Madison and Zach to talk to each other, but it was a lovely second chance romance. I really enjoyed Madison coming back home and finding herself again - and it had a real sense of small town coziness that I love in these stories. I’m definitely going to be picking up the rest of the series.

Dual POV cozy romance promised a nice time. There were things I did like and enjoyed: the autumn vibes, the small town atmosphere, the letters mystery and how it got resolved and the secondary characters. Unfortunately, the plot in general and characters felt a bit flat and "too common," and I couldn't get past the miscommunication trope. I was most of the time close to DNF because of how frustrating was to read each character's internal monologue about their lives.
I would still recommend it for fans of the small town cozy romances, that's why the 3 stars.

This was such a cozy, heartwarming read with just the right touch of spice. Madison and Zach’s second-chance romance crackled with tension, witty banter, and undeniable chemistry that kept me hooked. The small-town inn, fall leaves, and coffee shop moments created a perfectly charming autumn atmosphere that felt like stepping into a seasonal romance movie.

So this was fun and definitely made me embody all the fall vibes. However that’s it. The romance lost me at the miscommunication. But the overall book and inn was fun and cute to read about
