Honestly, I am torn here.
On the one hand - this is not the way I would follow nor I would recommend it to anyone. This one seems to be a mixed bag of some Christianity, some ezoterics, some paganism and some self-invented practice.
I would not even call this being a listening to God, it is Ms Williams way of maturing, accompanied by some "growing pains" (some pretty harsh) and how she had tried to find God in these situations. It is very personal with all of the pros and cons. Pros are honesty and open policy attitude, cons are that her story being her way and another people have their own way, so this short book will not teach you anything above Ms Williams experience (and a bit immature, amateurish and chaotic at that).
Being Catholic, I tried to listen, but I was not able to connect to the way Ms Williams practices her relationship with God.
But I was able to take some interesting pieces. I like her honesty and her hardworking ways of trying to find God in her life. God is reaching her, as is He trying to connect with al of His creatures.
While I can not recommend this book, I wish the authoress the best on her way, from my heart.
