Easy to follow, easy to read. Great characters and story. This one will have you imagining what it's like to have to deal with a situation like this. Good read!

We'll Never Be Apart by Emiko Jean is the exact kind of book I would recommend to teens looking for a spooky Halloween read without the overly scary storyline. The mental ward setting sets the stage for an atmospheric, suspenseful novel that kept me at the edge of my seat until the very end!

We'll Never Be Apart takes place in the present, but there are snippets of Alice's journal at the end of the chapters that I thought were really cool and added a lot to the story. Alice is obviously very mad at her sister for setting the fire that got Alice thrown into the mental ward, so she's not only trying to find her (she's also a patient at the hospital), there's also a strong revenge plot line that had me very intrigued. I had to know what was going to happen. The mystery was very good, and the writing and organization of the story were fabulous. Couldn't put it down. Highly recommended!

This psychological young adult thriller features an unreliable narrator out for revenge. The book is an engrossing and twisty read. The author fully succeeded in holding my attention until the end of the book. A really enjoyable read! Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an ARC copy of the book to read and review.

As much as I enjoyed the writing style I found the story itself very predictable. The major twist was obvious and the while thing felt very same-y, like I'd read it before.
The writing with tracking between now and then and diary entries was fascinating and kept me reading but I did get fed up of Alice's whining.

I received a free copy from NetGalley. So I both liked this book and found it super predictable. I was hoping the twist wasn't what I thought very early on in the book but it was. That said it was well enough written that I didn't mind reading it.

OMG so good, so intense and one that is gonna stick with me. It’s dark, creepy, twisted and disturbing but this book sucked me in from the prologue. Will never be a part tells the story of Alice is locked in an Institution. She has no memory of the fire that took the life of her boyfriend and nearly killed her. Fire that was started by her twin sister she’s determined to avenge her boyfriends death and track down her twin in kill her. The book is told in a unique way each chapter starts in present day with Alice in the institution and what goes on in her daily life. Can you meet and get to know the people that live in the Institute with her and compared to them she seems normal. In the second half of the book You’re introduced to the journal that Alice has been keeping since she’s been locked away in the Institute she uses it as a way to recover the memories that she’s lost. Even though I guess the ending from the very first chapter it was still an enjoyable read.

I'm so sorry this took me so long to read and review, I regret having put it off for this amount of time.

I thoroughly loved this book. I did guess the two twists before they happened, but I still enjoyed reading it.

Thank you for allowing me to have an early look at this beautiful novel.
