Following on from the brilliant first book in this series by Suzanne Snow this book has a lovely Christmas vibe to it.
Erin Hardy is reminiscing about her first kiss when she was at university to Oli Sterling, now he has turned up on her doorstep as she is going to be his landlord, this is definitely something she didn't see coming. But with a true Yorkshire welcome she invites him into her rather cramped cottage and decides to make the most of it.
What happens next is a matter of will they, won't they? As they navigate through the home life/work life balance. Throw into the mix an ex boyfriend, parents and other relatives, they find themselves with many situations that need sorting out before they can sort out their own personal lives. No spoilers, but as you read on it really opens up the story and at times I almost felt like knocking their heads together! Others you feel so cosy with the friendships between the two and people who live in the village.

I really loved reading this book, I felt engaged with the characters from the very beginning, the setting of the book in the Yorkshire Dale's was superb, I personally love visiting towns and villages in Yorkshire and this book was accurate in its description of places and brought back many happy memories.
This book is Erin's and Oli's story as you learn of their past lives at university then their work lives together in Yorkshire. It's a real will they or wont they get together in time for the festive season.
Fans of books by Jessica Redland and Heidi Swain will love this book, it's one of those books that leaves you all warm and fuzzy inside. It's the perfect Christmas time read, perfect for cuddling up in front of the fire with the Christmas tree lights sparkling.
I also loved the front cover, very christmassy.
A great five-star read from me.

I LOVED Christmas at the Home Farm Vets. I read it in two days and couldn't put it down. The imagery of the small town, the animals, the quirky supporting cast, and the main characters were all so easy to love. The love story was cute and heartwarming. I'm not entirely sure we needed the flash back chapters (it's always a bit odd to me when it only happens for a few chapters and then...never again). Anyways, highly recommend and I want to read all the books in the series!

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC!

When Erin and Oli's worlds collide after a few years apart, they are both vets and Oli is now going to be living with her for a few months. They both cannot believe this is happening and they seem to be getting on well but when Oli's contract at the vets comes to an end Erin is sad but she does not know how Oli is feeling towards her, should she say something or just let him go? It was an easy and light hearted story, the characters were relatable. I did feel as though I would of liked more of the vet and animal side of things rather than the will they? won't they? this is book two in the Hartfell Village Series and can be read as a standalone. It was a good pick up read but I felt as though the story petered off halfway through.

Lovely, festive, lighthearted romance. I enjoyed it all but I especially loved the animals and I love the characters that help them. While the second chance romance is the most prominent feature in the plot, I was more mesmerised by the Christmas feeling and the gorgeous animals. I now need the next book.

Erin and Oli met 10 years ago at cambridge uni for vets. Erin always had a thing for oli but thought she was never good enough for him as he hung around with all the pretty people. But near the end of term at the ball sparks happen between them.

Fast forward 10 years and Erin is a succesful vet . They are short staffed at the practise and locum vets have been working there. A new one is due to start and erin agrees to let them stay at her house.
Only to find out last minute that there sending Oli can it be the same Oli that broke her heart.

Lovley book from the start.
Love all of suzanne snows books

IM SO EXCITED. I AM SOOOO EXCITED.i am already one of Susanne's biggest fans, and yes just by reading one of her books. thats how much her book took a place in my heart and has stayed there. i didn't want her first book to end, and was sad to leave the characters behind. its been an anxious wait to see if id be lucky enough to read book 2 and now i guess i have to do the same with book 3! but for now im so happy to be back with this brilliant author and the story she tells.
we are back in Hartfell. a place we all want to be in. i would happily be adopted b the place. there have been some changes at the vets practices which as first gave me a little gasp. "oh no" i thought "what about..." but i nee-dent have worried Suzanne had it covered. and this time we got to fall in love with Oli and Erin and their story.
these two aren't strangers. Erin knows that all too well. but now he is back in her life. but no matter what she must remember his stay here is temporary. dont let his looks linger because he wont be.
but the time they spend together means something. they know it, we know it. they make a great team.
but as her hearts walls start to crumble Oli shows no sign of wanting to stay at the end of his contract.
what will Erin do now. she cant let this happen again. he broke her heart once before she cant let it happen again.
another wonderful book from Suzanne. read this book. you wont regret a minute you spend snuggled down with it.

What a brilliant feel good story. Loved the vet element and the importance of family. A couple of good twists. I just escaped into the book. Not much else to say but read it and you won’t be disappointed.
