Another great read but Amy Pease!! It’s so fun to read her writing and I couldn’t put it down!! I love the characters and how they all were intertwined into the story and this was such an amazingly thrilling read!! Highly recommend!

Wildwood, Amy Pease’s follow up to her debut book Northwoods is one of the best books I’ve read in a while. At the start of book, a woman is missing and the only clue is what looks like a murder scene inside her trailer located in a small town in Wisconsin. With the help of the local police, the FBI and a DEA agent, lots of secrets and widespread criminal activity happening in the small community comes to light. I couldn't put this book down!

I loved Northwoods so I was super excited to see that Amy Pease was releasing a new book. That being said, I do recommend reading them in order as Wildwood does have some (light) tie-ins to Northwoods.
Wildwood was a slow burn, but in the best way. Pease has a way with words and you just want to keep going. The build-up is definitely there throughout and you want to know what is going to happen next. This book was tense, the characters are so well-developed and the book was about as atmospheric as you can get.
Definitely recommend adding this to your TBR when it’s released in January.
Thank you to NetGalley and Atria Books for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!
