Love these sample collections! I get so excited to be able to check out new books that I'm looking forward to and find new authors. My TBR is forever growing but one of my favorite hobbies is finding new books to add. There were several great ones here that I'm looking forward to getting my hands on! I'm so excited for Burning Daylight, but I also added a couple others to my list, including The Devil She Knows! I love the spice guide and each sample that was included was really great.

Are you trying to figure out which romances to request? I recommend giving this anthology a try!

I love these because I get a better idea of which authors I like and which are not for me. I can also get a better idea of how a story will take shape. This helps me request more of the books I will enjoy and avoid ones that are just not to my taste.

Always great to get to read upcoming romances! I love getting my annual Buzz Books. So excited for these novels.

Buzz Books are such a great way to find out about so many upcoming books, and I love that there’s one just for Romance books! With so many books coming out, it’s hard to know what to pick up, so I loved this sneak peek of 18 romance books from multiple publishers. I discovered quite a few new authors to look into. I enjoyed many of these previews and added quite a few books to my TBR!

This is quite fun no matter what genre you prefer. I’m not a big romance reader but it’s fun to be able to see what’s coming out, what’s popular in the genre, and to find the niche that I’ll enjoy.

I enjoyed it categorized age levels and even had spicy meters. I hope NetGalley does this for all the genres!

Buzzbooks are so fun. I think the two books I’m most excited for are the book by Kate Clayborn and Nikki St. Crow. However, the reason I’m excited for them is that they are familiar authors. So, instead of singing the praises of things that I would have already loved, I’m going to touch on something else.
The unfamiliar author I’m most excited about because of this sampler is Alexandria Bellefleur’s The Devil She Knows. First of all KILLER cover. But also, who isn’t a sucker for a sexy demon?? The writing is quick and witty and I can’t wait to read a full copy.

Romance readers, it’s time for a preview of what upcoming books we’re sure to love. The new Buzz Books 2025: Romance sampler offers excerpts of 18 forthcoming romances, including both adult and young adult books. New to this edition is also a heat level rating for each book. Whether you like a spicy read or everything closed-door, these samples let you know ahead of time what to expect. Super helpful!

Of the books highlighted here, I’m most exited about The Devil She Knows by Alexandria Bellefleur; The Ex-Perimento by Maria J. Morillo; and The Paris Match by Kate Clayborn. I already have an ARC of the first one and have requested ARCs of the latter two. A paranormal romance with a demon? Fake dating an indie rockstar in Venezuela? A recent divorcée falling for the best man at her sister’s wedding in Paris? I love all of this; give me these books now!

Of Prophecies & Pomegranates by T.C. Kraven also caught my interest. It’s a dark romance retelling of Hades and Persephone. I haven’t yet decided if I’ll get an ARC or wait until it’s released, but I do want to read it.

From these excerpts, it seems that the trend is towards contemporary romances (especially involving sports), paranormal and romantasy, and dark romances. I’m not really into sports or romantasy myself, but I found plenty that caught my eye here and look forward to all these romance releases.

This was a very helpful guide that has added some books to my TBR! I am excited to explore some of these titles more!

This free collection includes excerpts from 18 forthcoming titles in the genre. Included are General/Adult, New Adult and, Young Adult titles. These are rated on a “heat scale.” This ranges from one 🔥 to five 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥, from a story that has no sex through those with explicit intimate scenes.

At the beginning of each excerpt, readers find this heat level with an additional descriptor of categories. For example, The Devil She Knows by Alexandria Bellefleur is described as heat level four and is categorized as General/Adult-LGBTQ-Paranormal-Rom Com. There is also a summary of what each book is about.

Characters may be divorced, widowed, younger, older so lots of variety here. The novels also take place in locations varying from Paris to tennis courts and much in between.

Recommended to those who want to plan their romance reading.

This was a great sampler of new romances coming out in the second half of 2025. I had a chance to read excerpts of some new to me authors and I'm looking forward to reading a few of them including Jane Costello's 40 Love, Emily McIntyre's Burning Daylight and Allie Oleander's Willing Prey.

Very helpful guide, I was already aware of some of these titles but it's great to learn of more books coming soon.

Every single one of these sounds fantastic, and the 2 chapter teasers were a perfect taste of what is to be expected in these books.

I’m not a huge romance reader but I found two I definitely want to try. Great way to read a sample and get a feel for an upcoming book you may want to read. Love these so much!!!!

This was super helpful in guiding my decisions on upcoming releases. I really appreciated getting to read samples of the books before I request them so I know I am only requesting books I am interested in. Because of this, I will definitely be checking out The Devil She Knows!
