I read this in 2015, and again in 2021, so I don't remember specifics, but I enjoyed it and gave the book 3 stars at the time.

This is a good read for you want something to brighten your spirits. The characters are engaging and the story has deep emotions without feeling overwhelming or heavy.

Fluffy and light, but fun and engaging. Read this one ages ago, but realized I never sent my feedback on here. I typically enjoy a select handful of contemporary romance authors and this one veered more to chick lit than romance with the sisters relationship being a main focus. Enjoyable and quick.

I loved this books as I usually do all books by Kristan Higgins. I enjoy that she mixes real world situations with humor (parts with the triplets had me rolling as I can relate as a mom of 3). The story line was fast moving and kept me very engaged the whole way through. I was rooting for the main characters to find happiness even while wondering what I would do in their similar situations. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes romance, women's lit, or books that relate to motherhood.

This is a wonderful story about two sisters. Rachel and Jenny's lives couldn't be more different. Rachel is dealing with being a stay at home mother of triples with a cheating husband and Jenny is a wedding dress designer who brings her business from NYC to her hometown. Jenny meets and starts a difficult relationship with the super of her apartment and realizes that even though she is a divorcee, she can and does still deserve love. Rachel's story follows her journey to find herself, and figure out if she can get over the broken trust to save her marriage or give up the dream life she thought she had to care for her daughters on her own. I really enjoyed watching her figure out what she really wants and the struggle that she feels to keep her family together even though she's not the one that cheated was very relatable and real. Through it all, you get to watch these two sisters be there for each other, even if they don't agree with what the other one is doing or going through. Its really a great story and a real tear jerker!

I did receive this product free for review purposes through House Party and their Chatterbox program.

Very enjoyable romance with likable characters. This novel was a quick and easy read,. The relationship between the sisters was actually the most enjoyable part of the novel, but absolutely worth reading. I look forward to reading more from Kristan Higgins.

Thank you to Net Galley, Harlequin and Chatterbox for the advance copy!

Kristan Higgins is a master at creating likeable characters that you love to cheer on. If You Only Knew is a great example of how she is able to take very uncomfortable situations, that real people deal with every day, and lets us view them with humility, humanity and even some humor. Great book to read on vacation or when you need a bit of an escape.

I really enjoyed this book. It reminds you that life is hard and that the grass, although often appears, is not always greener on the other side. This hits the serious buttons of life but still keeps a fun spin where you don't feel depressed when done reading. The author drags you in so you care about the characters and you are hooked to find out the twists and turns of the story.

Jenny is a wedding dress designer and has recently gone through a divorce. Owen, her ex, never wanted to have children when he was with her. Now that Owen is with his new woman, he now has a child. Crazy to think how someone can change their mind so quickly. Owen's new wife wants to be friends with Jenny so this has caused Jenny not to really ever have closure from her and Owen's marriage, so Jenny decides to move.

Jenny moves back home and sets up her own wedding dress designer shop. Her sister is here as well with her triplet daughters and her husband. Rachel is going to come to need her sister more than she can imagine when she discovers that her husband has been sexting with a coworker of his. Rachel always said that if she ever discovered this going on in her own marriage, she would divorce immediately, but when you throw triplets into the mix, it makes a difference. Rachel will come to lean on Jenny more than she ever thought possible.

When Jenny moves into a little apartment, she is above Leo. Leo teaches piano and seems to be sort of a mystery man. Leo also has a dog that loves Jenny. When Leo and Jenny start to spend more time together, Leo warns Jenny that it is not going to turn into anything permanent so not to get her hopes up. I kept rooting for these two, but you will have to read for yourself to find out what happens with these two.

Rachel and Jenny become closer as sisters during her whole ordeal with Rachel's husband. Rachel just keeps referencing back to her parent's perfect marriage that they had, or seems to. Jenny knows something that Rachel doesn't. When she shares the secret, will it change Rachel's outlook on everything?

The way that Kristan Higgins writes about infidelity, divorce and lies in this book will have you longing for more from these characters. Such a great story written by Kristan Higgins. There are few authors that can do as well with all of these issues and still make you fall in love with all these characters like Kristan Higgins does. She is in a league of her own for sure and I can't wait to see what she has in store next for us as readers. Great job!

I read this book a few years ago and it's still one of my favorite "beach reads." The characters were developed just enough, the storyline was easy and interesting without being too deep. A great vacation read!!
