Annie is a physical therapist who has a nonexistent personal life after a bad relationship. One perk of her job is that players from the local hockey team, the Hustlers, come by to visit with and encourage her patients. During one visit she meets Alec O'Meara, aka Sequoia, who she feels an instant spark with. A well-meaning friend tricks Annie and Sequoia into having dinner together one night and it was clear there was more than a one-sided attraction. Annie struggles with her insecurities throughout, but it made for a great and quick read.

I love a sports romance and hockey romance in my favorite! 4 out of 5 stars.

I really enjoyed the book, it has everything I love in a novel from start to finish. I can’t wait to read what the author has planned next!
