A fun and engaging read about a reluctant heiress and a small town business owner. This wasn’t my favourite story from Kwan, but it was entertaining and kept me turning the pages.

What a fun read. This is the second book that I’ve read from Coleen Kwan and I really liked His Billionaire Maid. It was a fun easy read. It had a little bit of everything laughter, love and steamy scenes. Nina might be second guessing working for her father but when she gets into her car accident, she kind of gets her second chance of just being herself. Joe might been second guessing hiring Nina as his maid but soon sparks start flying. I really enjoyed this read. A must read!

I received a ARC of the book from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I thought the book was extremely cute if a little short.

Nina is a little rich girl who comes from a rich family and works for her dad. She wants more then that though. She wants to prove herself. And she accidently finds the prefect way to prove she's more then just a rich girl. Which means she ends up working for Joe at his inn.

The book was a nice, fun read. I liked it better then I thought I would after I initially started reading the book. The plot is extremely predictable; I honestly felt I've read similar books before but if you love the boss-employee trope or the rich girl wanting to find herself trope you will love this book. It's well written for what it is.

Nina Beaumont is tired of her wealthy father's meddling. Is her career success because of her own hard work or her father's corporate influence.

If only she could prove her worth, perhaps in a place where no one knows who she is.

One month, a plan, and a case of mistaken identity will bring Nina the life she didn't know she wanted.

Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet, sexy romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

2.5 stars

I was intrigued by the premise of this book based off the blurb.

Through much of the first half of the book I didn't really like Nina or Joe, the two main characters much. However, as the story progressed, I found Nina's growth arc to be realistic and well done.

There were some nice moments, but the plot felt a bit choppy to me. I did like the small town inn setting, though, and the author did a nice job with populating it with fun local townfolk.

This is my first read from Coleen Kwan and I must say that I really enjoyed the twist on what might be considered to be a "typical" romance.

It was a fairly quick read that's fast paced but nicely timed. The characters were relatable and had a connection that left me wishing we had more time to explore. The banter was great, and there were a lot of funny moments. If you're looking for something light, fun, and sexy, this might fit the bill. It's ended a bit quick for my tastes but overall it was an enjoyable read.

Cute love story

His Millionaire Maid by Coleen Kwan did have a nice twist, the woman was the millionaire. Nina and Joe have instant chemistry and the author writes well, but there just wasn’t any “wow” moment to make it more than another story about opposites attracting.
I received an advance reader copy via Netgalley.

What can I say, I totally fell in love with Nina and Joe.......is she gonna tell him who she really is or is he gonna find out another way......loved the suspense of not knowing , could not put this down it was so captivating ....... I’ve never read anything by Colleen Kwan before but if this book is any example of her writing then I’m definitely going to get more books by her

I really enjoyed this book.
With a nice twist.
Nina Beaumont is wealthy but fed up with her family meddling in her work and personal life.
So she chucks it all when the opportunity arises (or crashes in this case).

Joe Farina has a lot on his plate. He's got an inn to run, a grandpops to the care of the big bad Beaumont corp creating down his back.
So, of course, he hires Nina to be a terrible maid.

Enjoyed!

This one kept my attention with its fun and entertaining story and likable characters that had good chemistry between them.
It was perfect reading material for this bad winter weather while we are stuck at home.
I'm looking forward of reading the next book by Coleen Kwan.

This is my first time reading this author and while it was well written I found it on the boring side and I did not love either main characters. For one I thought the male lead was very judgmental and he constantly had his foot outside the door. He says he does not love her and he doesnt want love and its just sex and Nina is okay with that because she knows he would hate her if he knew her truth and she is not planning on staying.

Nina lies and lies and lies. She has many chances to tell him the truth and she does not. Though she knows he will react badly and so it was understandable. I did like her character, I just felt she should have stood up for herself more. I felt him hiding their relationship from everyone who meant anything was just awful. And I felt bad for poor Nina.

I really did not like this story, however you might like it. I just was very bored and I felt that it could easily have been more interesting especially the big reveal but it just fizzled for me.

Nina is done being judged by who her family is and the money they have. When her car crashes and her idea is gone, she decides to use that chance to escape her family. She becomes a maid at in Inn belonging to Joe. As they spend time together, sparks fly but what will happen when he learns who she really is. Steamy chemistry and a story with plenty of drama and twists and turns. I really liked it.

When Nina decides to escape from her life for a while, she becomes a maid at Joe’s inn. They are drawn to each other from the beginning, but both fight it for a while. Nina hides her identity from thr beginning, but begins to feel guilty about it when she realizes that her ruthless, billionaire father is trying to prevent Joe from opening a bed and breakfast. They eventually give in to their attraction, but deny that what they feel is anything more than that. Eventually, the truth about Nina’s identity comes out and Joe is furious. He does calm down and decides to go after Nina. As expected, they make up and have their HEA. While the story is sweet, it feels formulaic and the writing style and dialogue feels awkward and forced at times. I believe that some additional editing would help to eliminate some of these concerns.

His millionaire maid is the story of a rich heiress who is tired of what her money brings. She’s given extra at work, relationships aren’t real, and no one takes her seriously. So Nina leaves and goes off the grid for awhile. Joe is a hard working man with a plan. He needs his new employee to show and help keep the inn clean. When Nina shows up there is some confusion on who she leading to her lying about her identity but who could it hurt ?

It was okay and I did like it.

His Millionaire Maid is a standalone story from Coleen Kwan about a young woman who wants to be more than just the beautiful, rich girl and ends up falling for the bed and breakfast proprietor who employs her as his maid. Nina Beaumont is in Mendocino County when she gets into a bit of a car mishap, so when she decides to try being someone other than who she is, no one really recognizes her since she actually lives in San Francisco. Her new boss is Joe Farina and he pretty much doubts she has the qualifications necessary to be a maid but he's desperate, plus he's attracted to her, an attraction that seems very much mutual. I honestly didn't feel a connection between the two of them until the latter half of the book. As individuals, though, Nina and Joe were a delight, both instilled with a need to prove themselves as responsible adults.

This is a lighthearted contemporary romance with a good set of characters. The story line of a rich girl pretending to be anything but and falling for the hardworking and not-so-rich guy is a common one but the author handled it well, adding bits of humor here. I do wish, though, that Nina's relationship with her father was threshed out more since it was what triggered her to work in his company even though she wasn't happy. Also, Joe was rather clueless when it came to how he felt for Nina and it took those closest to him to point out a thing or two on that regard. Speaking of which, I wouldn't mind if Vince and Sarah have their own story, either separately or as a potential couple. All in all, His Millionaire Maid was fun and flirty, which pretty much sums up the kind of love affair Joe and Nina had, and I'm giving it four stars.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This story was fun and easy to read. The main characters were quite likeable and their situations in life were well described. Was hoping for a few more scenes where Nina had no clue how to do complete certain jobs due to her social status but it was still funny. I like that Joe's extra curricular activities were affected by his relationship with Nina, it made it more realistic.
3.5 stars.
