An interactive graphic novel that reminded me of my childhood, with cute, colorful drawings and heartwarming morals for children!
I wanted to try out all the options, it was really fun.

Thank you NetGalley and the author(s)/illustrator(s) for allowing me to read an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I requested this book to read and review with my toddlers, who are working on a 1,000 unique book before kindergarten challenge. My 4-year-olds were too young for this one, but they are obsessed with both dragons and unicorns and LOVED the art, especially since they recently saw cartoon unicorn toys at the store (I forget the brand but it was similar to this art style!). While they couldn't sit or understand the super cool choose-your-own adventure component of it, it was fun to flip through with them and summarize what was happening. I really like the layout and flow, it reminds me of books I read when I was younger! I thought it was a lost art. The theme of dealing with feelings is really helpful for these younger children as well, as more and more of my students become reliant on technology for literally everything, we see in the classroom that many have difficulty regulating after excess screen time. This is a fun reflective book that would fit in well in a teacher classroom or home library.

Thank you allowing me to read and review your work.

This is such a fun book! This book is a choose your story interactive adventure, where you turn the page for one plot or go ahead to a specific page to choose a different plot. I found that very fun and interesting. The illustrations are adorable. Dragon and Unicorn are too cute. This book shows empathy, compassion, friendship, and dealing with big feelings.

cute book showing differences in ideas between friends, learning to compromise, giving feedback and sharing emotions. Cute illustrations. Fun book that allows you to move throughout the story based on the outcome you want to hear about.

This is such a fun kids book. I love the ‘choose your own adventure’ while reading about big feelings and how to be kind too. Can’t wait to have my son read it when he’s older. I just wish they could have made griffin happy at the end.
