This was everything that I was hoping for in a psychological thriller novel, it was suspenseful and had that tension that makes you go what's going on. It had that element that I was looking for from the description and thought the concept was terrifying. I was really engaged from the first page and thought the idea of a deceased loved one coming back after five years with a new wife worked so well in the psychological element. Carla Kovach was able to create interesting characters and how their story was told in this.

This is another amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read from this fabulous author. This is a standalone novel rather than being part of the brilliant Gina Harte series that this author has written and was just as brilliant.

This was a fast paced rollercoaster of a read and had me gripped from the very beginning so much so that I read it in one sitting. If you love psychological thrillers then I am sure you will love this one. It had an engaging storyline which hooks you in and makes you keep wanting more. Hard to review without giving spoilers away so the only thing left to say is give this one a read and you won’t be disappointed.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Imagine you believe your husband has passed away and you’re now a widow with a son. You find love again and when you move to be with your new love, you come face to face with the husband you thought died. Only he’s not dead and he apparently is marrying someone else. But no one believes you. I felt so many emotions as I read this book. I was screaming for Eva to be believed and it was as if she was being gaslit constantly. There were multiple twists and turns in this book and it was so fast paced, I read it in one sitting. The backstory comes out as the book goes on which was so helpful to understand things but still added to the mystery of the plot. This book consumed me till the very end!

I loved this thriller about a young mum starting her new life by the sea with her new husband but memories of her deceased husband are on every corner and when a young bride to be shows up with her fiance she is convinced he is her dead husband. As she starts to loose her min she has no idea if she is seeing things or if the impossible is true her husband is still alive. Can she find out the truth without loosing her mind and everything else. Great thriller!!

A fast paced read.
A little far fetched but i was still engrossed from start to finish.
Brilliantly written characters even if several were very unpleasant.
Set mostly in a lovely part of the country.
The build up to the end was a heart racer and the ending left me speechless.
My thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my copy.

Another brilliant Carla Kovach thriller that keeps you guessing from start to finish. Told from different POVs the reader just gets settled into one character's perspective when the narrative switches to another. This keeps the pace fast moving and the pages turning. There are plenty of twists and red herrings and a satisfying conclusion. Although the plot does stretch belief a little in parts, it is after all a story so perhaps excusable. A very satisfying thriller that I read in one sitting.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read an advance copy. All opinions are my own

What a wonderful ride this was!
This thriller is full of suspense, told through the interwoven perspectives of Eve, Madison, and Nicole.
It's a true puzzle, with the narrative constantly challenging you to piece together the truth as the tension builds up, making you race through the pages.
The story pulls you in from the first page, with well-developed characters who feel incredibly real. We have a perfectly crafted ending that ties everything up neatly, making us hope that there is a follow-up.
A very well deserved 5 ⭐ from me! I will be looking for more books by this author.
Many thanks to Netgalley and the author for the privilege of reading an advance copy. This is my honest opinion.

This book was a fast paced, edge of the seat thriller that was extremely well executed. I was gripped from the very first page! It was a wild ride of lies and deceit that had twists and turns which lead to a shocking finale.

The characters were so real I'm still looking over my shoulder! Three words to describe this book was chilling, tense and addictive. It sent me on a rollercoaster of emotions and didn’t let me go until the very end!

There were so many twists when you think you know how it’s going to end boom another twist… Fantastic. This is definitely a must read!! Another brilliant book by this fantastic author.

My Husband's Wife was a fast paced, one sitting read! It's like a boulder rolling down a hill, it just keeps picking up speed as it goes. It's hard to write a review without spoiling anything so let me just say that it's wild and you'll drive yourself crazy trying to piece everything together. It gets a little over the top sometimes but it works. I am really hoping for a follow up and if you end up reading it, you'll know why!

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

My Husband's Wife is the literal definition of a page-turner, I read this in one sitting.

The first third of the book is written from Eva's POV. She retells losing her husband Hugo, but she's now living a nice life with her new husband Zach and son Caiden. One day her friend Madison introduces her to her fiancé, Theo, who happens to be Hugo (or so she thinks) Eva starts her investigation, revealing that people around her seem to know more about Hugo's disappearance than they let on... is she being gaslighted by everyone? Why did Hugo fake his own death?

The second third is told from Madison's POV. Not a lot can be said about this part without spoiling things. Let's say there's a charatcer in the book that acts as the connection between Eva and Madison's POV, and a lot of situations in Eva's POV that she has lived through are explained here.

The story then picks up, and I really mean it.

As Madison approaches her wedding day, she starts losing her mind. Eva is "stalking" them because she believes Theo is her dead husband Hugo. Theo gaslights her, or does he? Madison's wedding day finally arrives... this part is absolutely WILD and wow holy cliffhanger!!

Now we're back to Eva's POV, which alternates with Madison's POV during the final third of the novel. An additional POV is also introduced here. Who are they and what do they want from Eva and Madison?

The last part of this book was intense, I physically gasped out loud more than a few times!

A fantastic 5-star read!
