Very interesting book embedding science, contemporary knowledge and concepts from Buddhism and philosophy to describe the development of humans and specifically consciousness. Difficult to categorise this book - it even includes doodles from the author. I found it enjoyable, intellectually stimulating and thought provoking. Thank you to the author. Thank you to #netgalley and the publisher for an ARC.

I am not sure if One Hand Clapping : Unravelling the mystery of the human Mind is an apt title for this book? Given its title and synposis, I was expecting a psychologically themed read. Instead, it was a unique evolutionary tale. Don't get me wrong, I did not dislike it. In fact, it was one of the most remarkable science books I have ever read. More-so, when you consider its scope. Nikolay Kukush did a phenomenonal job of collating what would have been a plethora of information needed to write such a book. Not only that, but the style in which he told the story; which was very well done.
Thank you, Netgalley and Globe Pequot Publishing, for this ARC. Opinions are my own.
