God, I feel like I have been waiting for this book forever! The minute I saw it on NetGalley I jumped on it. Thank you NetGalley and Slowburn

Finally Emmett and Cara’s book, Cara has been one of my favs throughout the series.

From the second I read the intro I knew this book was going to break me.

The book is dual timeline,
3 years ago - them meeting and falling in love and present day- them dealing with infertility

Their story is heartbreaking, emotional, honest, loving and beautiful. Cara and Emmett are struggling to get pregnant, Cara has a condition, diminished ovarian reserve and doesn’t have viable eggs. she can’t do the one thing that we are told as women is huge part of our worth and something we just expect our bodies to do. We have grown up to believe that getting pregnant is so easy.

The way this was explored along with the mental health struggles and relationship struggles that come with was handled so beautifully.

I love Emmett, he meets her, immediately knows she’s the one and never stops fighting for her. He’s become a top tier book boyfriend for me. The true definition of ride or die, never letting Cara give up on herself or on them.

The group of friends, the found family make this entire series. The support, the love, the openness and the vulnerability they share with each other is everything.

Breathe With Me had it all: spice, banter, and all of the feelings! Cara and Emmet fell fast, and the beginning was delightfully spicy. I was not expecting the heartfelt pain and healing that was to come. I loved how Cara and Emmet worked through their problems together, always putting communication and love first. Their friends were another highlight of the book. This was my first book by Becka Mack, and I know it won’t be the last. I am excited to check out the rest of this series!
