I really did enjoy this story! I love how it began, I was so interested and I love how Megan was trying so hard to stay loyal to her friend. When she bumped into Logan it’s was banter from then on. I couldn’t stop cackling at these two, cute short novella. This is my first book by T.Atkins, I really enjoyed the book and the writing style.

Thank you NetGalley & T. Atkins for allowing me to read this arc!

I quite liked this! I liked the characters, most of the dialogue, and thought the writing was really strong for the most part. I do wish we would have seen more of the back story of our main characters, as everything was quite sudden without that. The FMC described her feelings as incredibly strong for him, which I felt was too soon and sudden, seeing as they’d only interacted briefly. I feel like there was a lot of potential here, but that this story doesn’t quite work in this short format. It’s just difficult to buy into these characters loving each other that much in just 70 pages. This was short and sweet, but would have worked better in a longer form.

I am once again begging t Atkins to write longer books. they hold so much promise and potential, with good dialogue which is rare!! please, give us more depth!

This was a quick romance of a man falling for a clumsy woman a little insecure of herself. The story seemed a little rushed.

Unfortunately I just didn't enjoy this at all. The "enemies to lovers" felt forced, the dramas were very trite and contrived and I found myself rolling my eyes constantly nearer the end. Good bones of a story that just needed more than this novella could give it.

Sparks & Snarks is a short indie romance novella with a fun concept. I just kept waiting for the story to come together.

The banter, was fun and flirty at moments but then fell flat at others. The chemistry between the two MC felt a little forced. Elements of the story were great like the instant friends between her and the other woman she meets at the resort. I also loved how they were both trying to be loyal to their people.

I appreciate the author’s vision I do, and I'm always cheering for indie voices, but this one missed the mark.

Thank you for the ARC from NetGalley to read which gave me the opportunity to voluntarily leave a review.

This was a short and sweet contemporary romance with our lead characters Megan and Logan. Their best friends used to date and went through a difficult break-up. Both Megan and Logan are fiercely loyal to their friends and this becomes a stumbling block to their potential relationship. How they overcome these obstacles to build a strong connection is what makes this story so satisfying to read.

Highly recommend 👍🏻

Oh my heck! This is the cutest rom-com novella I’ve read in a long time, if ever. The story flows well and doesn’t have gaping plot holes that made the story feel incomplete. My only criticism is that it doesn’t talk more about the candle convention. The minor characters are the sweetest and really help bring the two MCs together. This rom-com has no spice at all. Not even suggestive dialogue. But don’t pass on this just because that is missing, because it is worth the giggles and smiles you’ll have reading this short story.

I received an eARC of #SparksSnarks from #NetGalley in lieu of my honest review.

Quick and nice read.Megan Monroe don't like Logan Ward, she was going to had peaceful getaway ,but instead Logan is everywhere.Prank gone wrong, and she's stuck with him in hotel room.

Will they finally give each other chance ?
For me, with short story characters don't have much time to develop, but this read I fast like both of them.

It was fast and sweet read,I would recommend for someone who don't want to spend few days with the book, just couple of hours.

Thank you netgalley and publisher for free copy.

Received this from NetGalley as an ARC

This is interesting because the story could have come together but it never felt like the pacing or all the facts were there for me.

The premise is that Logan’s best friend cheated on her best friend but lied about it. Logan believes his friend because his friend helped him through hard times and he wants to support him. Megan is upset over this and hates him because of his blind allegiance to his friend.

I struggle with this because I will die on the hill my best friend is right. Even when she’s wrong I’m not going to be in public saying that. She is pure perfection and I’ll defend her with my life. So I get the bromance need for that. I don’t get how Megan can’t understand that level of friendship.

Her clumsy nature was not cute or quirky but sort of like girl get it together you’re an adult.

I did love the name of the candle shop. I thought that was a very clever name.

Anyway, this was a sort of forced Prox, enemies to lovers, instalove? Sort of mix. It just never landed for me.

Perfect for fans of enemies-to-lovers, Sparks & Snarks is a clean and fun novella featuring witty characters, a tough conflict and great vacation vibes. If you need something to binge at the pool or want a pic-me-up in between reads, this is a simple yet enjoyable choice :]

Thoughts:
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. This is a cute short romance that’s great if you only have a little time or want a pick me up. The enemies to lovers feels real with both hating each other due to bestie loyalties but the breaking down of the walls is effective, especially with how fast it happens. It’s great to see a character like Megan who’s fierce in the defending of the worth of her friends while still doubting her own as it makes her feel more like a character I can relate to.

Favourite Quote:
“She'd been holding onto a grudge that wasn't even hers, trying to protect someone else's heart, and almost ruined something priceless in the process”

This novella was such a fun, quick read. I loved the banter between Megan and Logan—they drove each other crazy in the best way. It’s short, funny, and full of sparks. Perfect when you want a fast, flirty escape.

I wanted to love this one. Sparks & Snarks is a short indie romance novella with a fun concept, but it never quite came together for me.

The banter, while clearly meant to be witty and flirtatious, often felt more awkward than charming. The chemistry between the leads didn’t have enough time to develop, and emotional beats were either rushed or underwhelming. It felt like a draft that needed a bit more time in the oven—there were glimmers of humor and some decent lines, but the overall story lacked impact.

I appreciate what the author was trying to do, and I’m always cheering for indie voices, but this one missed the mark.

I am thankful to have gotten a complimentary eARC from the author through NetGalley to read which gave me the opportunity to voluntarily leave a review.

My general rating system is below. Since I primarily read ARC books I rate according to how I think like minded readers will receive the book. I will round up or down depending on many factors and try not to let my personal wants affect a books ratings.

⭐️ Hated It but pushed through as I don’t DNF ARCs I have received.
⭐️⭐️ Had a lot of trouble, prose issues, content issues, poorly edited.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ Meh, it was an ok read but it had something that stopped me from rounding up. Usually the book may have much more potential than what was given. I recommend it but with reservations.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I Really enjoyed it or think others will. These are solid reads that I definitely would recommend for a variety of reasons.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding! These are books that remain rent free in my head for well after unfinished the book. It can be for a variety of reasons from being very well written or just the vibes that captured my mind. These books are also ones I would probably read again

This was a quick, easy to read novella with some enemies to lovers shenanigans and forced proximity. The characters felt well-developed and easy to connect with despite how short it was! Read if you’re in the mood for a quick, sweet palate cleanser novella!

Thank you to T. Adkins and NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own!

A fun summer romance for those who adore the enemies-to-lovers trope. For those who like no spice, this one is right up your alley. This one is a cute little quick novella for those of you you only have a short period of time to read.

Unfortunately not for me! I expect half of my issue would be 3rd person isn't a style I can ever get into. That is on me.

I also don't feel there was much development. There wasn't much in the way of getting to know the characters/their normal life before they were chucked into drama.

It was cute overall but I think the writing style wasn’t for me. I needed a little bit more maturity for it to hit the way I was looking for. I think for someone looking for a quick, easy, read- this is it!

right from the cover this book bought me joy. and the fun continued right through the story. it was fun, connective and the banter style and wit was a seamlessly woven element alongside the more heart felt and adorable scenes. i was rooting for our pair from the start either for a short time or a long time these two just deserved to give it a go.
its definitely a light and quick read. it wont overwhelm but neither does it become too surface level either. it feels like a summer book for sure.
i felt for Megan alot. the flaws and insecurities in this woman were off the scales. and sadly i am actually seeing more of this pick yourself apart feelings in very real woman and young woman, even young girls in real life. that part of life for woman is becoming rampant again. which is so sad.
in Logan she certainly met someone who might make all those feelings worse or she might have met her match. im so glad it turned out to be the latter. i truly did end up falling for the pair.
this book was just the thing i wished for it to be going in and left me with a smile on my face and a bit of laughter in my readers heart.

Super short but sweet! No spice or anything like that but it was very cute. I did feel bad with how insecure the FMC was but I also get it lol.
