Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read an ARC of Reformed.
My personal experience of this book would have been more enjoyable had I read the prior four.
This story has lovable characters, chemistry, and a little bit of spice to top it all off. Sophia has what I look for in a main female lead. She has spunk, confidence, and a take-no-nonsense attitude. She works hard for what she wants. We also find out she loves big and fiercely when she comes to reality about confessing, to herself, her true feelings about Noah.
Noah seems to have a big heart and loving nature despite his past. He is determined in so many aspects of his life. He knows a few things for certain: 1) his band mates and his family mean more than the world, 2) He can and will stand up for what is right, and 3) Sophia had stolen his heart years ago and it would never belong to another person. He, too, has love that is big and wild. In protecting his friend, he didn't have to convince himself of his feelings about Sophia.
Overall this book was a quick read, but it felt very rushed from the moment the fake engagement plan was hatched until the end. I would have liked to see a little more tension between Sophie and Noah. I feel like the situation with Adrien was very quick to be resolved. The story needed just a little more depth.

Reformed is a rockstar, friends-to-lovers romance with a fun fake-dating twist. Sophia, a PR rep fresh off a breakup, finds herself saved by Noah—the lead singer of the band she represents—when her ex shows up in Vegas. Cue a fake engagement, plenty of drama, and some fantastic side characters that bring extra charm to the story. This was my first book by this author, and I really enjoyed it—I’ll definitely be picking up more from them!

This is definitely the best one in the series! I can tell how the writing has improved since the first book. Noah was cute, even though I’m not the biggest fan of the reformed playboy trope. I thought Sophia was such a good match for him and I enjoyed their chemistry. While they were cute, I didn’t feel an overwhelming draw to their romance. Overall, a solid entry into the Chance brothers series!

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this arc!
This is my first book by this author and I really liked it! The plot was well structured and the the characters were developed well. I would recommend 😀

Reformed is a Book with in the Chance Brother series, and can be read as a stand alone (I did) however the MCs from previous book make an appearance.
This book follows Sophia who has been a publicist for Noah Chance band for years, end up in a fake engagement after a painful break and very public break up from Sophia ex-fiancé (a billionaire tech entrepreneur).
There wasn’t much of a build up as they both like each other from the start and the conflict that was present was solved quickly. However I found the book to be a nice palette cleanser and a nice and easy read and loved the characters.
Tropes include
Fake Engagement
Friends to lovers
Rockstar
Workplace
Cinnamon Role MCs
Thank you NetGalley and Victory Editing for the ARC

Reformed by NIkki Kiley is a great steamy friends-to-lovers rockstar romance with fake engagement chaos, forced proximity, and enough sexual tension to set the charts on fire.
This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it!
The plot was structured well, and the pace was great.
This was a quick read, well written, and had characters I loved.
Thank You NetGalley and She Wrote What LLC for your generosity and gifting me a copy of this amazing eARC!

A sweet story, that took some time to get started. This was my first book by the author, but it can be read as a stand alone.
Thank you, NetGalley, and the publisher, for the arc.

Reformed by Nikki Kiley is a heartfelt friends-to-lovers romance that captures the magic of taking chances on love. Sophia and Noah’s journey from friendship to something more is beautifully layered, exploring both vulnerability and courage. The found family element adds warmth and depth, while the backdrop of the recording industry gives the story a fresh, engaging setting. Kiley’s fast-paced yet well-balanced writing brings the characters to life with rich detail—so much so that many feel deserving of their own stories. With its cute cover, multi-level storytelling, and authentic emotional beats, Reformed is a romance worth recommending.

After reading the blurb, I took a chance on this book, not realizing I was picking up book 5 of a series.
This was a quick read, basically read it in one sitting.
I really enjoyed this book! There’s obviously a backstory that I’m missing, but I liked that I was able to pick up the fifth book and not feel lost.
Sophia and Noah have been mutually pining for each other for years. After Noah stopped a kiss at a wedding because Sophia was too drunk, she basically ran away embarrassed. Sophia meets her controlling narcissistic ex immediately after and Noah is heartbroken.
After ending her engagement, Noah finally sees his chance.
They are in Vegas. Sophia, a pr strategist, was there for her clients' tequila launch and to work for Noah’s band, who finally got a break opening for a big country artist.
While at sound check for Noah, Sophia’s room is broken into and Noah insists she stay with him. After a super-quick push and pull, these two finally give into their feelings. The next day, after a meeting, Sophia is cornered by her ex, who insists she stop the tantrum she’s having and comes back to him. Noah sees this going down, marches over and tells her ex that they are engaged and to leave her alone.
Their timing is off. Sophia is still healing from the break-up and Noah’s band just got a deal for a six-month tour, but Noah finally got her and isn’t letting her go.
This is a quick and easy book for a little escape from reality. I’ll def go back and read the rest of the series.
Really wish Goodreads would get half stars already. I would give this book 3.5 stars.
Thank you NetGalley for this ARC!!

Fun, quick read.
Not a lot of depth or growth in the characters, it made it lack depth. Had some fun spicy scenes towards the end.
Thanks Net Galley for the arc

This was everything I look for in a romance, but it dragged before we reached the main part of the plot. Some moments felt stretched out longer than necessary, which slowed the pacing. That said, there’s definitely more good than bad here. The male main character is one of the best I’ve read in a while—his main goal is helping the female main character become the truest version of herself, especially after everything she’s been through. That made the romance so freaking cute, and once they finally get together, their interactions are absolutely beautiful.

I love a fake dating/engagement story so for me reading this was a must. Sophia is smart, strong, and trying to keep her career together while fake-engaged to the rockstar she’s been managing for years. Noah Chance is charming, infuriating, and a serial heartbreaker. The slow-burn tension had me hooked from the start. The fake engagement, the forced proximity, and second chance romance was perfect. Can't wait to read more books in the series.

not a chance Noah Chance. right? right? ha, yeh right. and aren't we all here to read about it. this was a sweet, cute and fun read. sometimes you gotta love books like this when they are done well. and when this happens it brings little gems of book. and this was done well. so its a tick tick tick for me.
Sophie is here for one thing only to be the Pr rep for Noah and his band. shes always tired to deny what was between them. is it actually even anything there? so she focus on this job that she needs to work out after a few troubles in her last few years. yep. thats it. that is it. apart from struggling with what this man does in his own life shes struggling what he does for her. to her. there is something clearly between these two from the start. they sizzled. but also something deeper that hasn't been given or allowed to be given wings.
that is until the fake engagement because there is a billionaire ex that is getting in her way. when they are forced to do all the things like a couple and not one of them is mad about that. and then comes the other things, you know, the heart things. and so they keep falling more and more for each other realising how much more real and deep there true feelings went all along.
so what should they do? what will they do. risk it for love? or just see this down as another business transition in the world of showbiz where this kind of thing is a given?
i wasn't sure of Noah at first. his arms length or denying was a fine line away from being a red flag emerging from that pocket in my brain lol. but Nikki managed to claw him back. because there was clearly no red flag malice i quickly became to realise. and it was always there for him just never the right time for either or both to be together.i also think because of there relationship and the longevity of it. you could kind of see where this might lead him to put the buffers in place. and the support they gave to each other, the time and how they were there alongside each other won out over everything to make it all feel real. and in the end true.these were a pair that you couldn't help wanting to root for.
i fell for this book and loved every minute of it. smiles and giggles of love had all the right feels in this book. and so a gorgeous read was happily had.

I liked the character of Noah and I liked just how far he would go to protect Sophia, but all through the book I found myself thinking why the hell doesn't she just block her ex's number? it really started to annoy me and I know his character had to be there to drive the story, but the annoyance would bring me out of the story.
Its well written with well laid out characters and its just my personal bugbear with the ex.

3.5 ⭐️ curse Goodreads for not allowing 1/2 stars 😒
Reformed is a book in a series around the chance brothers. I didn’t read any other books in this series previously, but felt like it could be read as a stand alone for the most part.
Sophia is a PR rep for Noah’s band. They have a long history, and long yearning for one another. They are finally in town together and their chemistry sparks like no other.
They end up in a fake engagement that leads to them both falling more and more, and realizing it was real along.
Overall I felt the story was okay. There wasn’t a lot of build up, I felt like they both were instantly in love at the start and they were pretty vocal about it. The conflicts weren’t too crazy, and resolved fairly quickly which made the story a little stale towards the end. But, it was well written and I loved the side characters!
Thank you NetGalley & victory editing for the ARC 🩷

Reformed is a cute, low stakes friends-to-lovers story about a PR representative and an up-and-coming rockstar. This book is perfect for people looking for a light, fast paced read with a good amount of spice. Every conflict in this story is resolved very quickly, and I did find myself wishing the story had more struggle and grit to it, hence the minus 2 stars.

Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the ARC in exchange for an honest

Noah, a rockstar, helps her PR manager to avoid her ex-bf by pretending to be her finacee. Except that friends become lovers while pretending....
Love both main characters. Terrific banter. Lovely story. So many LOL scenes. The steam is terrific
Thanks to the publisher for the arc.
