This book was such a fun quick read! Perfect summer time read or for a break between more intense genres or series. Very fast paced and entertaining! Spice level was a 10!!! Boss/employee trope is always an entertaining combo! I adore how the author created such a deep connection between the FMC and the MMC that you could feel through the pages! Morgan and Jason are what fantasies are made of! Chef's kiss! Excited to read more from Shana Collins. Will absolutely be creating social media content on this one in the future!

This is definitely erotica. It just wasn’t for me. I really liked the idea of the premise, but I didn’t realize both of them would sleep with other people on page. Idk. That really took from it for me. I also just felt like it made it all a bit rushed at the end. I know novella’s are somewhat rushed, but even more so in this one. Idk. I also felt like the relationship just didn’t connect for me. The FMC us a her body to get clients at work. Which honestly more power to you, but then it just feels like it’s only sexual with the MMC. I felt like they had good sexual chemistry and thought the other was hot/sexy and that it. Then they’re like I love you…? Like you love his D and he loves your “kitty”. Honestly I just think straight erotica isn’t my thing. BUT if you’re looking for some fun cliturature, then hey. This is great!
Thank you Shana Collins, PolyPen Publishing, and NetGalley for this book. I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Her Resume is a short work-place novella where Morgan has 30 days to prove she belongs at her new job, while also trying to make a name for herself in a male-dominated sector. It was a really fun read and the main characters had a lot of chemistry from the first meeting. Morgan was very sex-positive and that gave the book an exciting spin, while also dealing with issues that are often experienced by women working in high-paid jobs.
Certain aspects of the book were a bit comical when applied to the real world - her outfits, her behaviour, her professionalism. But all things considered, for a novella it was definitely entertaining!

This book reminded me of a Wattpad style erotica, which definitely has its place, but I felt misled by the blurb, which suggested a more complex and professional story. My reasoning for the Wattpad comment was the few grammatical mistakes, the use of “kitty”, and the disregard of real life customs. For example, the FMC wore a shirt that exposed her lacy bra and cleavage to her professional interview, had sexual relations with multiple clients of hers, and brushed her chest against the bosses during the interview. I also felt as though the dialogue or actions of the main characters were pretty immature and childish. These things unfortunately took me out of the story. Like I said, a book like this definitely has a place and readers who would love it, but for them to be able to find this book, I think the blurb needs to be fixed to more aptly describe it. I would recommend this book to readers looking for a fun, sexy time and who are able to disregard the lack of realism. Thank you to Netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was short, spicy and easy to read. I really liked the storyline of Morgan having 30 days to prove herself in her new job and it was fun watching how she managed to snag meetings with potential new clients.
I liked Jason a lot and found that he was shielded, understandably so when we find out more about him, but his attraction to Morgan is clear from their first meeting.
I was shocked with the storyline with Tim, I didn’t expect that at all but it was great how much was squeezed into such a short book.
Overall, I liked this novella, I wouldn’t have minded it being a little longer to flesh out the storylines as a lot of the book was heavy with spice, not a criticism, just would have been good to read a little more of the storylines.
I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a short read with a lot of spice.
Thank you to the author and PolyPen Publishing for an early copy.

I thought this would be a cute book based on the synopsis but I don't think I am the intended audience for this style of book/writing.

Morgan got her dream job but has to prove herself in 30 days. She falls for her new boss, Jason, older but wonderfully attractive....
Love the story. Love the steam... Terrific build-up to the relationship.
Thanks to the publisher for the arc.
