Dead Girl Walking by Sharon Sant is a paranormal thriller focused around Cassie, a teenager who has just lost her entire family. Even worse, she had to witness them all dying multiple times because she has the power to relive people's final moments whenever she touches them. This is a negative for her, but a positive for the local police force, who see Cassie as an asset, however unethical that may be. Enter Dante, another damaged soul who sees his own death whenever he sleeps. Dante and Cassie are drawn together as Cassie hunts a serial killer, much to Dante's chagrin. Loved the setup, didn't love the execution as much! Cassie was kind of annoying and made a lot of stupid choices. 3 stars.
