The whole plot was kinda ridiculous and I was frustrated with Jasper's actions throughout. He was an ass and it was hard to root for him. That said, the writing is solid and I appreciated some of the more humorous aspects of the book. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

oh dear, one mans betrayals are about to sprite in more ways than one. a seed is planted and new life is beginning parallel and then face to face with the one he's meant to be living. for one moment in his life is about to make an appearance.
this is one man who is trying to hold his life together. his life and his wife. they have already been through so much having not been able to conceive their much longed for baby.
and then one night Jasper does the worst thing. and from there on in its about the cover up and shut up. until one day he cant as that night is right there in front of him.
this is a thoughtful and thought provoking book. i enjoyed following along with it so much. there was so much depth to it. there was so much that im sure many can relate to even if not the specifics.
it was sharp, smart and really well done.
i love reading books like this that are just done really well. you get a fantastic snippet into a chunk of someone's life. its so true and so raw at times but also so real. and i felt so much for the topic of how one mistake can just unravel and ruin every single thing. and you cant take it back. and can you ever truly fix it? well that depends on so so many things and is often not the choice you wish it could be.
