Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book , I enjoyed this book and story but I personally prefers the authors previous books to this one

This is the first novel by Laura Pearson I have read and I pretty much read it in 2 sittings.
Anna and Nia, young friends, visit a psychic who makes predictions about the future.
A few years later, Anna marries Edward and he raises the question of children. Anna isn't sure what she wants and whether Edward is the man for her. What decision will she make?
Here, the story splits into two as each year, on the anniversary of the wedding, we see where Anna's choice has led her
Thoroughly enjoyable, sliding doors style book.

I actually don't read romance or womens fiction very much.
I might even go so far as to say, I only make an exception for this author.
I'll always pick up her books.
This is such a lovely book.
The relationship between the two best friends was quite heartwarming.
But there wasn't a single person in this book I didn't like.
On both timelines, as the characters all wove in and out of each others lives, I was sympathetic to every single one of them, where they were at, what they were thinking.
It's a rare thing to feel.
Lots of little moments that made me a teeny bit emotional.
Just lovely.

I was really intrigued by the cover of this book, that’s why I requested it. This book shows two perspectives for the same person like if her life had gone one way vs another. I did think it was pretty good, but it did not keep my attention at some places. The chapters are divided by yes and no and then as years go on. You see how things changed and how even the different lives are connected. I did like how Anna has a strong friendship with her best friend. But I never liked the man she started off with. I’m not sure which life I ended up liking better for her. Both had their pros and cons. Still, this was interesting concept and I’d love to read more from this author.
Thank you to the publisher for the review copy.

This was a engaging storyline and had that element that I was looking for from the description, it uses the overall story to the genres advantage. I was hooked from the first page and thought the characters were so well done and was glad they had that feel that I was expecting. The characters were written well and was a heartbreaking concept. Laura Pearson wrote this so well and was glad I was able to read this.
