Ok this was just such a sweet single mom ranch romance. Whit got pregnant and 18 and has been raising her son Jonas alone with no help from her ex-Alex who never shows up when he says he will. Having been a teen mom, Whit has always to feel like she fits in with the other moms, she often feels judged and like she is not worth loving.

When Jonas starts to struggle at school, Whit doesn’t know what to do. Enter Colt, the happiest possibly goofiest ranch hand who is in charge of giving Jonas chores to do to keep him busy during the summer. They quickly form the sweetest friendship. From chores, to fishing, to video games, these two do it all together. Whit is not oblivious to Colts charms and good looks, but is she willing to risk her sons one and only friendship, just for a chance at love?

This was a fun quick read, always enjoyable to see the characters from the other books in this series make appearances as well. If you have read the other books in this series you don’t want to miss this one, it might just be the best one yet!

Thank you Net Galley and Random House for an advanced copy of At Whit's End!

Wow! Bailey Hannah has out done herself with "At Whit's End"! We follow twenty-nine year old single mom, Whitney "Whit" Hart, who is overwhelmed trying to raise her rebellious ten year old son Jonas, with little help from her unreliable ex. When fun loving cowboy, Colt takes Jonas under his wing at Wells Ranch, he becomes both a mentor to the boy and an unexpected source of comfort for Whit. Friendship slowly gives way to romance and soon Whit must battle against her fears and trust issues that threaten to keep her from Colt.

I devoured this book like my life depended on it, there's something about the world of Wells Canyon that pulls you in from the first line and doesn't let go. You can't help but enjoy the ride. Colt and Whit's budding friendship turned romance was so wholesome and heartwarming. Colt's perseverance and determination in making Whitney happy was swoon worthy. Sometimes the "obsessed man" trope can be overdone in a way that makes the MMC look creepy but the way Colt was written by Bailey Hannah, was remarkable. He stood firm in his feelings and the future he saw with Whitney and Jonas, but also respected Whit's fears and boundaries. He truly is THE green flag of all green flags.

However, I must say my favorite part of the story was actually the relationship/mentorship that Colt built with Jonas, Whit's ten year old son. He really stepped up to become a good role model for Jonas.

One of my favorite thing's to do while reading a book, is assign a song that encapsulates the story as a whole. For At Whit's End that song would have to be "When I Look At You" by Miley Cyrus. Every single lyric directly translates the Whit and Colt. Every. Single. One.

Example: "When my world is falling apart, when there's no light to break up the dark, that's when I look at you." TELL ME THAT'S NOT WHIT TO COLT??

One of my only critiques for this book is that I wish there was more development with Whit and Jonas's mother-son dynamic. The few scenes we did get were incredibly emotional and I cried during every single one of them, it would've been nice to see them navigate the rough patch they found themselves in ON PAGE, rather than just learning in the epilogue that they'd come out stronger. Still even with that wish, this book was heartfelt and absolutely unforgettable.

I have really enjoyed this series and that being said this may be might least favorite of the series, but I do love that this book had such an emphasis on the relationship of the hero and the heroine's kid first.

I really enjoyed At Whit’s End, even if a few things rubbed me the wrong way. I loved the chemistry and bond between the characters the most.

I have been keeping up with every release of Bailey Hannah’s Wells Ranch series and I’ve loved every book. This was such a sweet cowboy romance. Whit as our fmc is a strong single mom raising her son Jonas and despite him being a troublemaker Whit is patient and understanding. Colt is amazing, right from the start he takes Jonas under his wing and becomes a very close friend to him. I really enjoyed seeing his weird/funny shirts!! Whit and Colt start off as friends but they develop feelings. It was nice to see that Colt was patient and waited until Whit was ready to be with him. Even after they got together Colt and Jonas had a strong friendship and they worked well as a family. I really enjoyed this book in the series and I highly recommend. Thank you Netgalley for the arc, I really appreciate it!

Another great entry in the Wells Ranch series from Bailey Hannah. After getting glimpses of Whit, Colt, and Jonas in Book #3, I was eagerly awaiting the story of how a goofy cowboy would love the hurt out of a single mom and her rebellious son. As a child of a wary single mom myself, it was beautiful to watch Whit feel wanted, loved, admired, and even a bit feared as a fierce mom and woman. Similarly, I loved watching Jonas open up to a new man in their lives and finally blossom where he felt safe. There’s a bit of angst that gets resolved in a sweet way, but I would have liked to see how it turned out in the future. Can’t wait for the next one!

This might just be Bailey Hannah’s best book yet!

Whit is the world’s greenest flag of a man and might just be my new favorite book boyfriend!

This one is a lighter read and it felt like a sweet reward for putting in the emotional labor required of books 1-3. I LOVED Whit, and she deserved to have a happily ever after with minimal trauma. There are still some heavier topics and as usual, they’re handled with care, but this time around I only teared up a bit, instead of uncontrollably sobbing.

I devoured this book in (nearly) a single sitting!

What’s to love…
- Can I just say everything and call it done?
- single mom + the sweetest green flag MMC (who’s kind of the nanny?)
- emotional but not as much as her last books
- “hey mama” 🫠
- “good boy” 🥵
- FMC that thinks she’s too much and not enough and an MMC who thinks she’s perfect
- mustached MMC who wears silly cut off shirts, is a little goofy, and has a heart of gold
- MMC with dyslexia

What might not work for some…
- honestly I think this is Bailey Hannah’s best work yet and I’m not sure I have anything negative to note!

🌶️- about 8 scenes and I know that sounds like a lot but it really didn’t feel like that much! Door is WIDE open.

4.25 stars.

Bailey Hannah's "At Whit's End" is another wonderful entry in her Wells Ranch series. I really enjoyed Whit and Colt's story! I am typically not a fan of friends-to-lovers as a trope, but I really believed their connection and their chemistry. I found their dynamic to be so sweet. They laugh together, they talk honestly together, they cry together, they are perfect together. He put her name as "future wife" in his phone! He says "hey, mama" to her whenever he sees her!! He loves her son regardless of the fact that he's not blood related! I kicked and screamed at this kind of stuff! Why can't all friends-to-lovers books be as good as this one?! Colt is relentless in his pursuit of Whit because he knows it is fate, that they are destined to be together. By far, though, the best part of this story is the bond between Colt and Jonas, Whit's young son, who has a father who is frequently absent from his life and lies to him and Whit. Colt takes Jonas under his wing at Wells Ranch, teaching him the ropes (sometimes literally!) so he can learn some discipline, hard work, and keep him occupied during the summer. Jonas is kind of a little jerk at times. I LOVED this "found father" aspect of the book. Their connection was so, so precious and wonderful. The way the three of them felt like a solid familial unit made me swoon, and I don't even want to have kids! The commentary on why Whit won't have more children is also handled extremely well and with delicate tact. Because of this, what happens at the end of the book made sense to me. I really enjoyed this book, and I hope you will, too!

Thank you to NetGalley, Bailey Hannah, Ballantine, and Dell for the complimentary ARC of this book. All opinions are my own. I was not compensated for this review.

Literally the best modern cowboy series I’ve read in a long time. A great author to binge all of her books.

I love this series so much. It feels like it gets better and better after every book. I thought Denny's book was my favorite but then I just finished this one and I think Colt and Whit is it for me. I will not be surprised though if Book 5 (Love Wells Kept) will one up this one.

This book follows single mom and Blair's younger sister Whit and cowboy/ranch boss Colt. With Denny's insistence, Colt was forced to take on Whit's son Jonas to assist him with some tasks at the ranch. Envietably, they became really close and Colt, Whit and Jonas started spending time together over shared dinners and candy. Colt fell hard and Whit followed and so their love journey begins.

I've always loved Whit in Denny's book but hated how she was a pushover when it comes to Jonas' dad in the beginning. The way I hate Alex - I could write 2 pages worth of this review. Anyway, Whit is strong and independent and I love how much she loves Jonas and would do anything for her boy. I also love her vulnerable side. You wont be able to help but feel for her and just want the best for her. In comes Colt who is amazing. He stepped up big time for Jonas but most importantly, he recognized that no one cares for Whit and took that on too. I truly adored their little family unit and even if I enjoyed Whit and Colt scenes, my favorite have always been when Jonas is with them. Love Colt's mom and the found family in the ranch. I also liked the "conflict". It was something that made sense for who they are and I'm glad it wasnt swept under the rug and ignored.

I really have no notes and think this book is perfect! Such a great romance read if you love sweet and swoony love with lots of spice and heartwarming moments. 6⭐️ read for me!

Thank you NetGalley and Ballantine for the advance copy. I cannot wait for my preorder to come so I can reread and add it to my collection.

I truly enjoy this series so much. I really enjoy how the relationship dynamics between everyone on the ranch and in their communities they are. I thought Colt and Whit’s story was so sweet.

I think Whit and Colt's story was my favorite in this series. I loved their chemistry, loved his bond with her son and just the way he's there for her to lean on in a way she needs but is hard for her to admit. Definitely the best of the series!

I am so grateful to receive an eARC of At Whit’s End!! I didn’t know what to expect out of Colt and Whit’s story (and Jonas) but I loved it!

I love the friends to lovers aspect cause I think it was so sweet. Colt almost pushed out Austin as my favorite Well’s Ranch man. He was funny and his goofy personality is not one many people look for in a male character but I loved. His goofiness matched Whit’s personality so good.

And also Whit? HELLO MAMA FOR REALLL!!! I absolutely loved her. I didn’t know what a femdom was before reading this but now I do and I don’t think I’m EVER going back.

The relationship between Jonas and Colt was so meaningful and I loved watching it grow. I also loved the raw, realistic relationship between Jonas and Whit.

I really enjoyed this. I thought the main characters had amazing chemistry and I thought their little found family was so charming. I loved COlt's persistence, and patience when it came to Whit. I loved his relationship with Jonas and the way that Whit and Jonas were able to have a better relationship with the addition of Colt. He provided such a good balance for them and it was like he was the missing piece in their family.

Bailey Hannah has done it again! At Whit's End felt more emotional than her previous novels as we follow Whit and Colt as they enter a relationship. I found this book very down to earth and relatable with Whit being a single mother and her children's father being incredibly absent. I appreciated how Colt and Whit put Jonas before themselves and their relationship and made sure his happiness and comfort was the number one priority. Can't wait to see where else Bailey Hannah takes us in this small town.

Yall know I’m a sucker for a cowboy romance and I have to thank TikTok for introducing me to Bailey Hannah’s books this year. Now I’ve enjoyed the other three books in the Wells Rancher series. But At Whits End is my first 5⭐️ of the series

Without a doubt this is my favorite book in the series. I had a sneaky suspicion after meeting Whit, Colt and Jonas in the last book that their story was going to be spectacular. And folks Mrs. Hannah did not disappoint. Watching the slowburn romance between Colt and Whit. Plus watching the fatherly relationship bloom between Colt and Jonas. The ups and downs in both scenarios were relatable and hit every note perfectly. This book is everything! It will make you laugh, it will make you feel heartbreak, and last but not least it will truly warm your heart.

Clearly I can’t say enough good things about it. So do yourself a favor and read this when it comes out December 2nd. I can’t wait to get my hands on my trophy copy! Lastly thank you to NetGalley & Dell Publishing for providing me an arc to read and review!

I think this latest addition to the series is my favorite! I appreciated the levity that Colt's t-shirts brought to some pretty heavy subject matter and how the relationship between Colt and Whit developed. I always like when characters struggle, but find support and companionship in one another and live happily ever after and this book really delivered on that while not being depressing or morose. It was still a fun, easy escape read.

Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and say it: this is my favorite book in this series, hands down. It's a series I've enjoyed, and it's hit a lot of notes for me, but Whit, Colt, and Jonas are just it. This one is funny, it's heartbreaking, it's heartwarming... everything.

"Tonight, I'm taking my future wife on her last first date"

Can we talk about that line? Because that line is probably the best line out the entire book. This single mom/he falls first, fast, and hard book is everything I wanted and more. Such an amazing book start to finish, Bailey Hannah nailed every part of it from the insecurities of a single mom, to the preteen boys mischief, to trying to navigate motherhood and dating. Loved, loved, loved!
