✨ The Boy Next Door by Sian O’Gorman is a heartwarming story about taking chances, embracing change, and discovering what you’re truly capable of 💛. I loved Claudia and watching her personal growth unfold 🌱. The characters were so well written—from the ones you root for to the ones you love to dislike 👏. The romance is subtle but adds a lovely touch 💕.
It took me a little while to get into, but once I did, I was hooked 📖. Everything wrapped up so satisfyingly in the end 🎯. A wonderful reminder to give things a go—you never know what might happen ✨.
Thank you to NetGalley, Boldwood Books, and the author for the opportunity to read this book 🙏.

Claudia is promoted at work to become the editor of a Man's magazine and cannot really understand why she was promoted. Her old neighbour and childhood friend, now a well known artist moves back to Dublin. Secrets are uncovered providing a story of back stabbing, intrigue and romance. Hard to put down, ideal holiday reading.

A great story telling about a former friendship that reunites the people years later. Sian O’Gorman is a new author to me. I look forward to reading more of her books.

Sian O'Gorman does an amazing job in writing this book, it had that element that I wanted and enjoyed in this type of book. I was engaged from start to finish and thought the characters were so well done in this plot. It was real and I cared about what was happening in this setting. Sian O'Gorman creates something that is real and enjoyed how good the overall feel was.

This was a definite rollercoaster with some fabulous characters all weaving in and out of the spotlight and moving the plot on. This was really clever, with sisters and mothers, and old family friends - both good and bad - all making their move and ebbing and flowing the book on. Claudia is great, she loves her job but takes a new one because well, she might love it! The romance of the characters is always present but the focus is more self determination and going for it whatever life gives you and is all the better for it! I had a ball reading this hopeful book.
