Our exs wedding. When the wedding planner and the winery owner does their exs wedding. They must work together no matter how they feel about each other

I will read everything Taleen Voskuni writes! There is something so special and healing about seeing Armenian characters (and queer Armenian characters) in a romcom.
This one was a bit different than her previous 2 books. It's dual POV (with a male main character) and written in 3rd person. I think the start was a bit slow but there was a great set up between all our characters. It's so messy between Raffi, Ani, and Kami and it's great. The premise of planning an ex's wedding is very unique but the plot really wasn't anything groundbreaking. The strength really lies in the main characters - you really end up rooting for them and believing their feelings for each other, their interactions, and their growth. I was cheering Ani on at the end (especially in how her relationship with Kami evolved). I loved the check in with Nareh from her first book "Sorry, Bro", but you don't need to read it to enjoy this one.
Rated 4.5 stars rounded up to 5 stars. Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the ARC ebook.

Our Ex’s Wedding completely swept me away. The chemistry between Ani and Raffi is an ideal mix of sweet, romantic, and sometimes sizzling, enough to make me grin like a fool while reading. I also loved all the family elements. Taleen Voskuni writes family so well, with so much nuance and heart. At one point, when Raffi opened up about his past, it hit me right in the chest and I actually started tearing up which I don't often do while reading.
The mutual exes part was so fun and well done! The ex, Kami is around (and she made me so angry but in a good way, and at the end Voskuni gives her some depth, too) and there are some deliciously awkward moments but it's not too much where the whole story is about their ex. This book centers the relationship between Ani and Raffi, the growing love between the two characters, so beautifully.
And then the ending—oh my gosh—the pacing took off and I was flying through the pages because I had to know how it ended. This book gave me joy, heartbreak, and that lovely swoony rush you get from a great romance. HIGHLY recommend if you love romance with real emotional depth.

Thank you so much Berkeley Books for giving me the opportunity to read this book. Unfortunately I started it, managed to get a few chapters in but I cannot continue reading it.
I don’t like the 3rd person POV. There’s no depth to the characters and I just don’t think it’s doing what it needs too. The first chapter didn’t hook me very much either. The FMC made me so mad in a matter of minutes. She’s just so unlikable.
There was NOTHING intimate about her putting back on her heels after she almost face planted in front of the guy…. It’s putting shoes back on seriously. Raffi was being genuine and didn’t really say anything bad but then she gets so angry for no reason and insults him. “While we’re taking shots”. Honey it’s only you who is.
I can see where this book is going and the idea the author was trying to encompass but unfortunately I don’t think it’s written well. The banter is cringe and giving millennial and it’s giving one sided childish beef not enemies-to-lovers.
I just don’t think this book is written very well and I’m not enjoying it. I will be DNFing. I want to give it 0 stars but I have to put a rating
