This was a really cute romcom! I loved their dynamic… Her innocence, sunshine personality and her ability to get under his skin. I love how he slowly fell for her, even when he was such a stubborn grump, just like she said he would. I am excited to read the rest of the books in this series!
Thank you to NetGalley, Dreamscape Select and Gracie for the opportunity to review this audiobook. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

If you want a romance that is very much a fantasy then this is a pleasant way to pass a few hours. Most of this stuff isn’t okay in real life, like stalking and harassing Luca and showing up to a janitor job in heels (that’s just not showing intelligence) but makes for a goofy book.

This just wasn’t the book for me. I liked the characters and the premise. It was well written. But the pacing was too slow, with a lot of back and forth that I found boring.

I really enjoyed listening to this book! I felt like the narration fit the characters so well so it was the perfect pairing! Luca was the true definition of a GRUMP and Juliet's entire personality challenged that! This book made me laugh, but also had several tender moments throughout.

I want to start off by saying that I went into this book not knowing much more than the title and it wasn't until I was a few chapters in that I read the book blurb and realized the title threw off my expectations. I was thinking this would be a friends to more romance, but it's not,and as creative as the title is, I do think it started me off on the wrong foot for what I was expecting in this story.
Juliet is definitely a unique brand of character. I did appreciate her optimism, but she was a little much for me for most of the book. To say she was relentless in her pursuit of Luca is a massive understatement. She definitely gets the award for most persistent, but it was to a point with me that when Luca comments if he was pursuing her like she was him, it would be something that the cops got involved in and I just couldn't have agreed further. It made the romance hard for me to buy into. I kind of felt like Luca finally just caved for her, like she wore him down.
The writing is good, the moments and situations between them could be funny, but overall, it just wasn't the book for me. I am still looking forward to reading the other books and I've been told I may have enjoyed this more if I read the first book of the series before this one.
I did listen to the audiobook version and in simply rating the narrators, that takes the full stars. I felt like they both capture Juliet and Luca's personalities and I did like listening to it, even if the story didn’t resonate.
I received an advance listening copy from Netgalley and Dreamscape Select. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book was so fun! I was expecting a friends to lover with the title but loved that it was a bit of an enemies to lovers instead! I loved Juliette was my favorite! I loved her quirky personality that covered up some deeper stuff and I loved that she knew what she wanted and went for it with positivity and perseverance! Luca is a huge grump who needs someone like Juliette to help soften his edges and I loved watching it happen! I definitely recommend this one!

I just finished listening to All's Well that Friends Well. What a delight you guys! Grab a copy or go listen to the audio. It was such a witty office romance / enemies to lovers. It was cute, clean and fast-paced. I know any book by Gracie Ruth Mitchell always hits the spot and brings swoony happiness into my life.

Juliet is at a loss of what to do. She's struggling to find a job and is quite desperate to find "the one". Which seems to be almost every man she encounters. But a home invader instantly turned tenant may just be the solution to everything.
Juliet is sunshine. Sunshine is Juliet. Everything about her screams bubbly naivete but she has layers. I can only appreciate her can-do-attitude and willingness to put herself on the line over. And over. And over. I think her opposite in Luca brought about such a great juxtaposition to her character. This book is funny and sincerely sweet and I can't recommend this series enough.
Definitely recommend on audio. The narrators, Ellen Quay and Eric Fox, were great as Juliet and Luca. I found them to be equally charming and loved to hear their performances.
Thanks to the author, Dreamscape, and Netgalley for the alc. All thoughts are my own.

When I need a book that is a mood boost, Gracie Ruth Mitchell is a go to author for me. I was so excited to listen to her most recent novel on audio.
Juliet is the most optimistic person about unrequited love I’ve ever read about or known. While I wouldn’t recommend her approach to everyone, I loved her for it and it was so entertaining to read. Juliet is determined to win Luca over. Their first meeting could not have gone worse, unless you also consider their subsequent meetings. You know when girls get together to analyze every detail between a friend and a crush? If I was doing that with Juliet, I’d definitely encourage her to move on. It’s a good think she didn’t do that with anyone.
I love Juliet’s happiness. She has some self doubts and insecurities, like anyone does, but she also loves herself and knows she is great. I loved that about her. I think that’s part of what eventually wins Luca over as well.
If you love quirky characters, hilarious moments, and lovable main characters, this one is for you.
This is the second book in the series, but it could be read as a stand alone. I also enjoyed the first, so I definitely recommend that one as well. I listened to this book in audio format and really enjoyed the narration.

Oh my goodness so fun and hilarious! I love GRM's books and I never fail to laugh out loud in her books. It was fun to explore this couple we only caught a glimpse of in All's Fair in Love and Blackmail.
Dual narration with two fantastic narrators, impeccable comedic timing, sweet romance. What more can I ask for?!

Oh how I love the Grumpy/Sunshine Trope! This one was just delightful! I really enjoyed the characters! I absolutely loved the narrators for both male and female leads! The story was sincere! I loved following their journey of finding the strengths in each other! I didn’t listen to book one, but you are going to bet I will! Loved it!

This was a very cute story. It was love at first sight for Juliet, but Luca did not feel the same way. In fact, he found her to be annoying Juliet and Luca met when she visited her parents house. Unbeknownst to her, her parents had rented out the house to a tenant who happened to be Luca. Juliet keeps stopping by with baked goods to win him over. One day, she overheard Luca speaking with his manager about how the employees in his office despise him. Luca is told that he needs to make over his reputation if he is going to eventually run the company. Juliet, who was currently unemployed, inserts herself into the conversation and begs to be hired. She starts out working as a janitor until she is able to prove herself. Her plan to gain employment happens to intersect with her plan to win Luca over. I enjoyed this book a lot but I wish that there was more to the book. The author could have written more about Luca’s grief, and Juliet’s eating disorder.

Ellen Quay and Eric Fox did a fantastic job of bringing this newest book in the Lucky In Love series to life. I absolutely adored the narration, as this story is so precious to me.
Juliet is the youngest, spunkiest, and most precocious of the Marigold siblings and I adore everything about her sunshine and sparkles personality, especially when she latches onto grumpy Luca. The way they clash is full of friction and sparks, and I couldn’t get enough.
I discovered new things to love about this story while listening to it and I just can’t love it enough. It was truly like devouring a beloved 90s romcom through my ears and it’s a quintessential story.
Content: mild romance

All’s Well that Friends Well is a cute, very PG story. Both narrator’s Ellen Quay and Eric Fox do nice job narrating. They each tell the story from their character’s POV.
Julia is looking for a job and just so happens to charm herself into Luca’s orbit. Luca does not want a relationship. He is at work on a mission to make his company profitable. Julia won’t take no for an answer. She is baking and working her magic, trying to get Luca to fall in love.
Julia is silly and optimistic. A ray of shine. Lucas is the opposite.
cute listen, easy, tame listen.
Thank you to NetGalley for the advance copy in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts be opinions are my own.

I could count on one hand how many grumpy/sunshine books I’ve read so I’m not the most qualified, however, Juliet and Luca could well be the epitome of this trope.
Throughout the entire book Juliet reminded me of Legally Blonde’s Elle Woods - bubbly, outwardly brimming with sunshine, wearing lots of pink and always having the best intentions. She did have her own issues with an ED which were explored with sensitivity for those reading and she could definitely do with some counselling regarding personal boundaries, but the “boo” comment she had for whenever things didn’t go her way drove me nuts! It just didn’t seem like something a 24yo would say consistently (and I have a 25yo daughter!).
The book was dual pov and the story worked really well between the two.
I enjoyed the narration and looked forward to getting back to the story each time I listened.
Highly recommend this book for a good romcom. After finishing I found out it was the second in a series so I now need to go back and find book one and see if it’s just as good!
Thank you to Netgalley and Dreamscape Select for the audiobook arc to review.

I just finished All’s Well That Friends Well by Gracie Ruth Mitchell, book two in the Lucky in Love series, and it was such a sweet and fun listen! This time we follow Juliet Marigold, the sunshiney sister with a hopeless crush on Luca. When she ends up working in his office, sparks (and plenty of awkward moments) fly. Between the grumpy x sunshine dynamic, forced proximity, and even a sleepover, this book delivered all the romcom charm.
✨ Dual POV’s made it even better, and the sibling banter brought so much warmth. Juliet’s quirky fashion choices had me smiling, and I loved how much humor was woven into the romance. Plus, the audiobook narration by Ellen Quay and Eric Fox was phenomenal—they truly brought the characters to life.
If you love clean romances with humor, heart, and just the right amount of swoon, this one’s worth picking up!

Sadly, all was not well for me with this book. The plot was cringe, the female main character reeked of desperation, and the male main character may as well have been a robot with how much personality he had. This book felt like the epitome of too quirky for its own good, which Gracie Ruth Mitchell can pull off (I'm looking at you, Juniper Bean), but this just wasn't the book for me.
Thank you to Dreamscape Select for gifting me with an ALC to review. All opinions are my own.

A grumpy sunshine book that takes a turn for the cringey. The story starts with a premise of Juliet falling for Luca, who is renting out her parents' home. She falls for him—literally, as she's surprised to see him there. The cringe started for me when she then totally stalks him after overhearing a conversation about where he works and decides to get a job there as the janitor... yes, the janitor.
This was instant love from Juliet and a whole lot of cringe for me. I did not connect with the characters at all; Luca had no interest in her, and her obsession with him after just looking at him was just too much. The end saved the book a bit and was the only part I was able to connect with, but overall, this was too cringey for me to enjoy.
Thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Select for the ALC in exchange for an honest review. Release date 8/15/25.

A breath of fresh air in romance! A unique premise with clear, open communication.
Juliet Marigold is bambi human form and she must be protected at all costs. Luca Slater has shut himself down and it bound and determined to stay that way. Luca TRULY cannot stand Juliet from the jump and I giggled and kicked my feet the entire time as she took a blow torch to his frozen heart.
Juliet is up front and honest about her intentions and her blatant provocation, pushing just the right buttons to undo Luca was so much fun to experience.
The narrators nailed this. They brought these characters to life and the male narrator voicing Juliet cracked me up every time because it WORKED!
Honestly this whole production was a masterpiece. no notes!

All’s Well That Friends Well is the second story in Gracie Ruth Mitchell’s Lucky in Love series, which takes place in the tiny mountain town of Lucky, Colorado. It follows All’s Fair in Love and Blackmail but and should be read after it. All’s Well That Friends Well is a grumpy/sunshine closed-door romantic comedy that touches on some serious topics. The story is told in alternating POV from Juliet and Luca.
24-year-old Juliet Marigold was introduced in All’s Fair in Love and Blackmail as India’s younger sister. She is the “baby” of the tight-knit Marigold family and has no marketable skills other than teaching dance and baking cupcakes. She has been infatuated with Luca Slater ever since discovering him in her childhood home six months earlier. Juliet has no sense of boundaries and has been quasi-stalking him. She is aware that the world thinks of her as a Barbie doll, pretty but not to be taken seriously. She convinces Luca to hire her as a janitor at his business, Explore.
32-year-old Luca Slater is a senior manager with Explore, a Colorado-based outdoor equipment rental company. He was sent to the troubled Lucky store to turn it around, and it’s a requirement for him to be promoted to CEO when the founder, Rodney Ring, retires. Luca is a grumpy, workaholic loner who is disliked by the lackadaisical Lucky staff. He has a tragic backstory, and guilt and regret make it hard for him to get a good night’s sleep.
Luca’s method of dealing with flighty Juliet Marigold is to ignore her, until she begs him for a job. He hires her as a janitor and quickly realizes that there’s more to her than her Barbie persona that she shows to the world. She is very emotionally attuned to others around her, even though she ignores their hurtful remarks and actions. Juliet offers suggestions to Luca to smooth over things with his Lucky store staff, and Rodney schedules an employee breakfast at the Marigold family home to improve employee relations. Unfortunately, Juliet spent the night in her childhood bedroom, and both she and Luca oversleep on the morning of the breakfast, with comical results. Eventually Juliet wears Luca down and he falls under her spell.
All’s Well That Friends Well is a clean, closed-door romance with no profanity or sex scenes. However, it deals with some serious issues, including eating disorders, mental health issues, and death. Juliet’s lack of boundaries and past history of an eating disorder make her a candidate for continued mental health counseling, and Luca definitely has his own share of emotional struggles. Readers know that Juliet is going to wear Luca down, but there’s plenty of suspense/tension in the story. Sometimes Juliet’s antics around Luca seem immature, if this story were realistic fiction. Overall, it’s a great escapist read, especially due to the closeness of the Marigold siblings. I look forward to reading Aurora’s story, To All the Guys I Loathed Before.
The audiobook is narrated by Ellen Quay and Eric Fox, who do an outstanding job bringing life to the characters.
I received an Advance Review Copy (ARC) of the audiobook from NetGalley and DreamScape Select for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
