I just could not follow along. I felt like it jumped around.
Could be a me issue, I will buy and read the book instead of listening to it.

This story was so good! I adored Juliet right from the start. She was bubbly and happy and kind, despite the hard things from her past. The deeper themes in this book were explored so well, and I definitely teared up a few times.
Like I said, Juliet was an absolute delight. She was funny and 100% herself, and I loved it. She sees the good in everyone around her, and especially in Luca.
“I think what you mean is ‘don’t threaten me with a good time Ms. Marigold.’”
Luca was so gruff and grumpy, but I loved watching him soften as he let Juliet—and joy—into his life. They balanced each other so well. And Luca once he started letting his walls down? 🔥
“I could adore her.”
Basically, this book was so good, and I absolutely recommend it! The narration was also very well done and I enjoyed that as well.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the audiobook. All opinions are my own.

Contains an audiobook review.
This is the second book in the Lucky in Love series. It is a kisses only contemporary romcom. It can be read as a standalone story, but there are characters that are featured that appear in the previous book.
Overall, I enjoyed this story. It was humorous with good banter. I appreciated Juliet's occupation, since I own my own small janitorial business.
I thought that maybe the whole "I am going to make you fall in love with me" aspect was a little far fetched/over done. But in the grand scheme of things, that is a small critique.
The audio is done by dual narrators and both did a very nice job. I had no problems listening to the book and enjoyed having the male and female aspects. Neither were obnoxious or cringy while reading the opposite gender dialogue.
I was given the opportunity to listen to a copy of this book by Dreamscape Select and Netgalley. I'm leaving an honest review.

This book is so so so cute! I love Juliette’s personality so much. She doesn’t care what other people think and she’s going to do what she wants, she’s stubborn and smart and kind, she’s such an amazing character. I love Luca and how his past trauma is written, he’s totally falling for her but feeling scared and guilty because of his past. This book made me smile and laugh out loud. I listened to the whole audiobook in a day and my mom was so frustrated because we were out running errands all day but I didn’t wanna take my earbud out. The only thing is I feel like the voice of the male narrator didn’t really match Luca, but also- that’s just me. I definitely recommend it’s super good!

All's Well that Friends Well is the second book in the Lucky in Love series. This series is about a sibling group, and while I will always recommend reading them in order, this one could be read as a standalone. The first book is about Indie, and this one is about Juliette, and they have two other siblings, Aurora and Silas.
I loved this story. I enjoyed meeting Juliette in the first book, but getting to know her in this one is so much fun. Her meet-cute with Luca technically happened in the first book, but it is also mentioned in this book.
I was not sure I was going to like Luca. I did not think he was nice enough or good enough for Juliette. He is gruff and comes across as rude. However, once you understand the pain, guilt, and hurt he holds onto, you come to understand him so much better, and like Juliette says, he is soft under that gruff exterior.
One of the things I enjoy about books like this is that, overall, they are light. However, Juliette and Luca do deal with heavier issues, making the story more meaty than just fluffy.

There are so many times I was snorting and laughing out loud listening to this one. The narrators made this an exceptionally enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it.

Loved the ending! Juliet is a bit intense and is even aware if she was a man all the things she does would be totally taken as stalker-ish so just remember they are fictional and you can laugh at what she does instead of being creeped out! 😅 This one is a grumpy sunshine/boss employee romance and the marigold family is just so much fun! Love them! This one has some heavy trigger warnings so be aware- eating disorder, loss of loved one with suspected self harm, loss of parents, so the MCs are definitely working though some stuff but I really enjoyed this one and it doesn’t skimp on the kisses!

“If we are dating I’m getting to know you, your insides, not your outsides”
Okay this book has made it to one of the top spots as one of my favorites by Gracie! There are so many things to love and I’ll mention some of them, but Juliet is one of the biggest reasons. I love the way she speaks her mind, while also being gracefully vulnerable. She has her struggles, but she does not let them stop her. She’s brave enough to risk her heart in the hopes of gaining something even better, and she loves helping others. Then pair her with one of the grumpiest MMC’s (which by the way I absolutely adored him too), who is scared to give anything to to anyone, and you have the most delightful, love story! The office romance was perfection and their first kiss is chefs kiss 🔥! I listened to this audiobook that will be coming out tomorrow (Aug 15th) and the narrators were amazing!!
🩷Contemporary Romance
🩷Book 2 in Series/ Can Standalone
🩷Closed Door
🩷No Swearing
🩷CW: Death, Guilt, Past Eating Disorder, Mental Health

Juliet is at a bit of a standstill in life — she has a passion for ballet and fashion, but no real job prospects. When a man rents out her childhood home, he quickly becomes her new obsession. Luca, the renter, is in town to get his company back in shape. He’s laser-focused, not looking for romance, and wrestling with demons from his past.
Juliet, however, makes it clear she’s going to win him over. She’s like a dog with a bone, refusing to give up no matter how many times he brushes her off. At 24 (with Luca eight years older), she can come across as a little childish at times, but she’s nothing if not persistent.
The book was entertaining enough — light, fluffy, and easy to read — but I didn’t really connect with either of the narrators. Overall, it was just okay for me.
Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Select for the free audio version of this book. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was a cute, sweet read, but it honestly didn’t resonate with me the way I had hoped. It was just a little bit lacking in depth for me, but it was still a really cute read!

Thank you so much to Dreamscape Select and NetGalley for this ALC of All’s Well that Friends Well.
This book is laugh out loud funny and so stinking cute. I loved both main characters. They truly felt like real people. Juliette is so relatable in that she cries at everything good or bad. I love that she speaks her mind all the time. I also love that Luca is the complete opposite of that, but they are absolutely perfect for one another. I really enjoyed this book more than the first one, and can’t wait to read more from this author.
I listened to the audiobook, and both narrators did a great job. The voices matched their personalities so well.

All’s Well that Friend’s Well was such a breath of fresh air!!!! I loved everything about this book. This is the second book in the Lucky in Love series and it was, honestly, better than the first one (which I would for sure read before reading this one). The characters in this book were so so perfect for each other. I loved how utterly open and honest the FMC was. The MMC is so opposite than her, but he was devastatingly perfect as well. I connected with them both so well and was sad when this story came to an end. I look forward to the next book in this series and can’t wait to read more from Gracie Ruth Mitchell. I listened to the audiobook and both of the narrators did a wonderful job. 🧡🩷
I would like to thank Dreamscape Select and NetGalley for giving me an ARC (which did not sway my opinions or review).

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for the opportunity to listen to All’s Well That Friends Well by Gracie Ruth Mitchell in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. 🎧
I struggled with this romance. From the start, the FMC’s behavior leaned heavily into stalking and harassment — breaking into the MMC’s home multiple times, bringing him food after he directly told her she was making him uncomfortable, and ignoring his repeated requests to stop. 🚪🍲 While the book plays it off as quirky persistence, in reality it read as unsettling. If the roles were reversed, it would feel more like a psychological thriller than a romcom.
The MMC seemed to let her antics slide simply because she was attractive, which didn’t make the dynamic any more appealing. That said, I’ll admit she did wear me down in the end, managing to make me laugh a few times. I also enjoyed the audiobook’s dual narrators — they brought good energy and helped keep me engaged even when I wasn’t loving the storyline. 🎙️✨
Would I recommend it?
Only if you can look past some questionable romance tropes and lean fully into the “delulu gets you the guy” fantasy. 💌

This was so cute & such a feel good, quick read (listen, since this was an audiobook ARC)
Juliet & Luca neeeeeded each other.
I loved how bright Juliet was for others even though she was dealing with a lot of internal conflict, how she was SO determined to get Luca to fall in love with her, & that she was so upfront about it. Girlfriend was not beating around the bush.
Luca is such a grumpy boss man and did not want to give Juliet the time of day but she had him wrapped around her finger in no time. She helped him find a voice for his past trauma that he'd tucked down deep and I was so glad that he opened up.
I listened to this at 2.5x speed (normal for me is 2-2.5x)
The narrators were excellent & really brought the story to life. I highly recommend the audiobook!
SPICE: none
LANGUAGE: none
CONTENT WARNINGS: mentions of past eating disorder, mentions of death (that may or may not have been self inflicted, unknown), trauma/anxiety, past toxic relationship
Thank you to NetGalley, Dreamscape Select, & GRM for the audiobook ARC!

I absolutely adored this book!! Juliet is so determined to get Luca to fall in love with her - and boy did she do it! It wasn’t easy for her though. I love her quirky personality and all the things she does and says. She has zero filter and I am here for it! Luca isn’t so sure - he’s holding on to past pain from a relationship (not because he misses her….this was a tough one!) but Juliet’s fun personality works its way into his heart and it was just the sweetest thing ever! I am loving this series and can’t wait for what’s next!

3.5 stars!
I am always looking for a good clean rom com and this one was a fun read! I enjoyed many of the antics and I appreciated the mental health rep and felt it was handled with care!
I did think Juliette was a bit over the top and some of her actions were a tad creepy/stalkery.
Over all, I did have a good time with this one but do think our FMC should be dialed back a tad.
-clean rom com
-grumpy sunshine
-mental health rep
-workplace romance

DNF at 56%. I have thoughts on Juliet 😅
- Stalker tendencies (ie. Sneaking into Luca's house, constantly showing up with baked goods even after he says no, eavesdropping on his convos outside his house, weaseling her way into a job at his firm). If the roles were reversed, such a guy would be labelled a creep.
- Pick me vibes (who wouldn't want to date you? I want to make you fall in love with me...etc) These are actual things she says to Luca.
- Girl seems hardworking but her flaws are overshadowing that. She comes off as an airheaded blonde 😅 I get dressing for the job you want and not the job you have, but heels for a janitor position?😅
- For someone who is still figuring out what to do with her life, she's weirdly focused on being Mrs Luca Slater (her words) and mentions it to Luca multiple times. Feels like instead of organically falling in love with her, he'd just be worn down by her persistence.
- Also, why would Luca hire her as his assistant despite all that? Screams HR nightmare to me.
The audio was okay though I had to speed it up and raise the volume with Luca's chapters. Thank you to Netgalley and Publisher for an ALC. All opinions are my own.

This is such a cute grumpy vs sunshine, work place rom com. This story had me laughing from the get go. The banter between Luca and Juliet is really funny and their chemistry is so sweet. While there were so heavy topics discussed int he book that the characters go through, I thought it was written and handled with care.
I honestly can’t wait to read more about the Marigold siblings and the family bond they share.
This is book two in the Lucky in Love series. This is a closed door, clean reads rom com. It can be read as a stand alone, but is best read after reading the first book in the series.
Narrated by Ellen Quay and Eric Fox. An outstanding job narrating and bringing the characters off the page.

3.5 stars, rounded up
I had a fun time listening to this audiobook! I enjoyed that it flipped a lot of tropes by making the FMC the one who fell first and did a lot of the flirting.
While all the hijinks and antics were fun to read, I felt like many of Juliet's actions crossed the line from funny to uncomfortable; it was hard to root for a couple that had the foundation this one did.
Thank you to Dreamscape Select for the free audiobook via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review!

This is a cute and fun grumpy sunshine romance with a side of a little bit of office romance. I did really like the representation of mental health topics and talking through those things realistically. My only draw back was that I thought some of Juliette's actions were a little stalkerish.

So… the grumpy/sunshine is one of my most favorite tropes and this one by @authorgracieruth is no exception!
After one of the most interesting introductions, Juliet has developed a crush on Luca, the tenant staying in her parent house, and she is convinced it could turn into something real if he’d just give her a chance! Now that she’s working in his office, she’s sure it’s fate! Her janitor gig somehow turns into a unique assistant job and let’s just say she takes her new role very seriously!
Luca is determined to keep love off the table, but resisting Juliet’s bubbly energy, bold fashion choices, and just overall sweetmess… lets just say its not going well! Between hilarious workplace antics, unexpected sleepovers, shared secrets, and mutual understanding, these two are impossible not to cheer on!
Funny, sweet, and full of emotion, this story had me smiling the whole way through. Plus with the adorable ending, more from the lovable Marigold siblings, and a romance that’s as heartwarming as it is hilarious, this book is a total win! While this book probably could be read no problem as a stand alone, I definitely recommend reading All’s Fair In Love and Blackmail first! Check out my page for that review!
Huge thank you to @netgalley and Dreamscape Select for the audiobook copy of this book! All opinions are my own!
