A lightweight romance full of clichéd ideas and phrases. Nevertheless, this is a mildly entertaining novel; the best thing about it being its setting in Botswana.

Many thanks to the publishers and to Netgalley for the ARC.

This book was full of so many ups and downs. I enjoyed every minute of reading it and being a part of Tessa and Corey’s lives. I will say that I have never cried more while reading a book so please take any trigger warnings seriously! It is an amazing, thought provoking story with the perfect ending.

I really enjoyed the overall concept of a safari lodge and how it uses the deeper topics that was going on in this world and characters. I was invested in what was going on and enjoyed the overall element to this journey. Lisa Felkins has a strong writing style and had that element that I was looking for and was glad I read this. It was emotional and thought the overall concept was what I wanted and how the characters were used in this.
