Now this is a type of story I truly enjoy! A strong woman-Louisa, takes no prisoners when dealing with those who cross her. One thing this story teaches is your harsh past can either make you wilt or make you stronger. Louisa chose stronger! Oliver is a tight, cold fish of a Duke who is after the betting book he has been chasing throughout the series. Their meet-cute is hilarious and very original! Their story is adventure personified and even with them dealing with rough men, no crass language- YAY! Leo is an absolute hoot and I adored him, especially some of the statements he made only a 10 year old could get away with. Well plotted with wonderful characters and twists and turns to keep you guessing . I adored how Oliver’s attitude loosened up and he allowed someone in. Their chemistry was just pouring off the page and I adored her taking control ( a bit). I kind of felt sorry for Louisa’s father being blindsided and yet soft enough to adore his children to the point of listening to them. A great read- one of. My favorites!

I received this story for free and these are my own views.

Louisa wants nothing to do with men of power ever since she was kidnapped as a child in a power play. Oliver wants to find the betting book and bring to justice an all-women's crime ring. Going with her family's enemy to Brighton seems the smart thing at the time so she can keep an eye on the book. Starting to have feelings for each other they must trust each other as they face danger together. I received an ARC from NetGalley and Dragonblade Publishing for my honest review.

So swoon -worthy I can't describe it! Perfectly sweet with just a hint of drama. A new favorite book of mine.

this was a strong sixth entry in the Ladies Who Dare series, it had that element that I wanted and thought Lady Louisa was everything that I was expecting in the time-period. I was hooked from the first page and thought the overall feel worked and enjoyed the enemy to lovers was so on point and was engaged from start to finish. Tanya Wilde writes a strong writing style and had characters that I was looking for.
