This was such a fun and educational book for kids. This will be great for inquisitive kids who want to know about everything around them. This was a great read.

Thank you North Star kids for the opportunity to read and review “Weather”!
Growing up, talking about the weather with my dad was one of my favorite things. He loved to teach me about all of the different weather patterns and how we as humans impact the climate around us. This book is an excellent summary for kids!
I loved how the author used real life pictures to depict different weather patterns. This book was concise and informative. I learned a lot reading it and can’t wait to share it with my kids!

I really like this series of books. This one takes the scientific topic of weather and breaks concepts down at a level that is appropriate for elementary school. The book is bright and colorful, with pictures that will keep children engaged. I appreciate the inclusion of a glossary and a knowledge check section to be used in a classroom setting or an at home read.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was cute, concise, and informative. It is exactly the type of book I would have loved to pick up and read in elementary school. While this is definitely too young for my middle schoolers, I will be recommending it to a couple of elementary school friends who teach weather in their curriculums. I like that it divided the information up into small, digestible pieces but still kept related concepts clustered together. For example, a lot of the severe weather events were on either the same page, or adjacent pages. This would work well as an introduction to the topic and to a lot of the relevant vocabulary.
